All Are Welcome!
A second meeting will be
held on Wednesday, October 11th at 7pm in Makuch
Hall for all who were present at the Parish Financial
Report meeting on September 21st as well as for
all parishioners that are interested in the financial status of our parish. Fr. Radek’s hope is that
those who attend the meeting will come with
realistic ideas about measures and activities
that can be taken to improve the financial status
of our parish and school. Everyone’s input is
important and your presence at this meeting is
highly encouraged.
Looking for LIFESAVERS!
WomanCare Services, a local crisis pregnancy center with a
Catholic identity, whose mission is to save babies from abortion and help their mothers and fathers return to emotional
and spiritual health, has been open in Berwyn for more than
two years. They are in great need of volunteers to do everything from reception, lay counseling, phone calling, word
processing and fund raising activities. They are looking for a
part-time counselor, preferably bi-lingual Spanish. This is a
paid position. Flexible hours and training are available Two
volunteer training sessions will be held in October. If you think
God may be calling you to be a LIFESAVER, please call

save only the UPC Code from all Campbell’s food Products for our school!. We no
longer need the front label as in the past. If you have any
labels saved at home, please drop them in the box provided in the vestibule of the church (south side) by October 15, 2006. (However, always continue to save all
Campbell’s Product UPC CODES even after October
15TH for us.) The school is also collecting the “Box Tops
for Education” coupons found on all General Mills Cereal
boxes as well as on many refrigerated food items and
cake mix boxes! Look over any food container before
disposing of it- there may be a valuable coupon on it that
the school can use! Please cut it out and deposit all

codes in the container provided. Our school receives

Catholic Book Fair!
St. Frances of Room Parish in Cicero, IL is sponsoring a Catholic Book Fair on Saturday, October
14. This is a common effort from local publishers:
Loyola Press, Claretian Publications, Liturgy Training Publications and Libros Liguouri. The goal is to
reach people and introduce them to Catholic reading in different topics and trends. Please call Miguel Arias at 773-281-1818 for more information

Deuteronomy, which was the basis for his accusers’
argument, to Genesis, where God’s intention for marriage is first laid out. In so doing, Jesus also shifted the
appeal from Moses’ authority to God’s authority. He
also shifted the question from what is permitted under
the law to what is intended under God’s plan.
Isn’t is amazing how noble minded Jesus is? He
holds out hope that every married couple will put aside
all their differences or grudges and reach together for a
very high vision: that they would love each other as
completely as Christ loves his church. An eternal optimist, Jesus believes that it is possible for every marriage to be a bright and shining light to the whole world,
a sign that unconditional love is possible even in the
darkest corners of the world.
What do you think? Was Jesus just talking in unrealistic ideas? Not really. That wasn’t Jesus’ way. More than
anyone else, he knew what was in the hearts of men
and women. But at the same time, he also knew that
the Holy Spirit has the power to fill and transform any
marriage, if only the husband and wife would turn to
him.
So if you are married, set your sights high. Do your
best each day to strive for unity, forgiveness, and mutual love. Pray with your husband or wife. Try to attend
Mass together. Seek to love without counting the cost.
If you do, you will find your love extending far beyond
your own marriage. You too will become a light to your
neighbors, drawing them closer to God himself!

Domingo XXVII del Tiempo Ordinario
En aquel tiempo, se acercaron unos fariseos y le preguntaron a Jesús para ponerlo a prueba: ¿Le es lícito a un hombre divorciarse de su mujer? Él les replicó:
¿Qué os ha mandado Moisés? Contestaron: Moisés permitió divorciarse dándole a
la mujer un acta de repudio. Jesús les dijo: Por vuestra terquedad dejó escrito
Moisés este precepto. Al principio de la
creación Dios los creó hombre y mujer.
Por eso abandonará el hombre a su padre
y a su madre, se unirá a su mujer y serán
los dos una sola carne. De modo que ya
no son dos, sino una sola carne. Lo que
Dios ha unido, que no lo separe el hombre.
En casa, los discípulos volvieron a preguntarle sobre lo mismo. Él les dijo: Si
uno se divorcia de su mujer y se casa con
otra, comete adulterio contra la primera. Y
si ella se divorcia de su marido y se casa
con otro, comete adulterio. Le acercaban
niños para que los tocara, pero los discípulos les regañaban. Al verlo, Jesús se
enfadó y les dijo: Dejad que los niños se
acerquen a mí: no se lo impidáis; de los
que son como ellos es el Reino de Dios.
Os aseguro que el que no acepte el Reino
de Dios como un niño, no estará en él. Y
los abrazaba y los bendecía imponiéndoles las manos.

La reunión importare
Una segunda reunión para todos los que
estaban presentes en la reunión el día 21
de septiembre, así como para todos los
feligreses interesados será el miércoles,
11 de octubre en 7:00pm en Makuch Hall .
La esperanza de P. Radek es que los que
asisten a la reunión vendrán con ideas realistas sobre las medidas y las actividades
que se pueden tomar para mejorar el estado financiero de nuestra parroquia y escuela.

Oración para Vivir en paz en la Familia

Przystąpili do Niego faryzeusze i chcąc Go
wystawić na próbę, pytali Go, czy wolno mężowi oddalić żonę. Odpowiadając zapytał ich:
"Co wam nakazał Mojżesz?" Oni rzekli:
"Mojżesz pozwolił napisać list rozwodowy i
oddalić". Wówczas Jezus rzekł do nich:
"Przez wzgląd na zatwardziałość serc waszych napisał wam to przykazanie. Lecz na
początku stworzenia Bóg stworzył ich jako
mężczyznę i kobietę: dlatego opuści człowiek
ojca swego i matkę i złączy się ze swoją żoną,
i będą oboje jednym ciałem. A tak już nie są
dwoje, lecz jedno ciało. Co więc Bóg złączył,
tego człowiek niech nie rozdziela!" W domu
uczniowie raz jeszcze pytali Go o to. Powiedział im: "Kto oddala żonę swoją, a bierze
inną, popełnia cudzołóstwo względem niej. I
jeśli żona opuści swego męża, a wyjdzie za
innego, popełnia cudzołóstwo". Przynosili Mu
również dzieci, żeby ich dotknął; lecz uczniowie szorstko zabraniali im tego. A Jezus, widząc to, oburzył się i rzekł do nich:
"Pozwólcie dzieciom przychodzić do Mnie,
nie przeszkadzajcie im; do takich bowiem
należy królestwo Boże. Zaprawdę, powiadam
wam: Kto nie przyjmie królestwa Bożego jak
dziecko, ten nie wejdzie do niego". I biorąc je
w objęcia, kładł na nie ręce i błogosławił je.

Piosenki Religijnej 2006

Seminarium Biskupa Abramowicza
Program Seminarium Biskupa Abramowicza
oraz Radio WPNA 1490 AM mają. zaszczyt
ogłosić "RADIOTHON 2006," słuchowisko na
falach WPNA od godz. 5:00 rano w piątek 13
października aż do południa w sobotę 14 października. Związek Narodowy Polski, właściciel radia WPNA, dziennikarze WPNA oraz
Program Seminarium Biskupa Abramowicza
złączyli swoje siły, aby zebrać fundusze na
kontynuowanie istnienia tego seminarium.
Program seminarium został otwarły w 1999
roku po to, aby sprowadzać kleryków z Polski, aby ukończyli oni studia w Stanach Zjednoczonych. Po święceniach kapłańskich ci
sami mężczyźni będą służyli Archidiecezji
Chicago, zarówno w tradycyjnych polskich
parafiach jak i w pozostałych. Do tej pory z
tego programu zostało wyświęconych 12
księży. Jedna trzecia studiujących w tej chwili
kleryków w Seminarium w Mundelein i jedna
trzecia kleryków z tegorocznej klasy będącą
wyświęconą będzie abiturientami naszego
programu.
Program radiowy na WPNA podczas tego
radiotonu da szansę słuchaczom na finansowe wsparcie tego seminarium poprzez donacje. Kardynał, biskupi pomocniczy, rektor,
członkowie komisji doradczej oraz sami studenci pojawią, się w programie WPNA podczas jego trwania. Samo seminarium znajduje się w bliższej zachodniej części miasta
przy 1447 West Superior Street w budynku
dawnego konwentu w Parafii Świętych Młodzianków, W czasie rocznego pobytu w programie seminarium studenci uczęszczają na
kurs języka angielskiego na Uniwersytet Illinois w Chicago oraz przechodzą proces inkulturyzacji. Wszelkie przed-radiowe donacje

wszystkich, którzy byli obecni na pierwszym spotkaniu 21 września, jak również
dla wszystkich zainteresowanych parafian. O. Radek ma nadzieje, że ci, którzy

Kurs przed Chrztem
dziecka
Przypominamy, że w
każdą trzecią niedzielę
miesiąca w naszej parafii po Mszy św. o godz.
10.30 odbywa się kurs
przygotowujący rodziców i chrzestnych do chrztu dziecka.
Osoby zamierzające ochrzcić dziecko w naszej parafii są proszone o zgłoszenie się na
ten kurs prze chrztem dziecka. Dlatego należy pamiętać, aby:
► zgłosić się do kancelarii parafialnej przynajmniej półtora miesiąca prze chrztem.
(Aby uczestniczyć w kursie przygotowującym)
► Przy zapisaniu chrztu jest wymagany akt
urodzenia dziecka.

również i dzisiaj wychodząc z
kościoła można nabyć nowy
numer Tygodnika Katolickiego
„Niedziela”. Znajdziemy tam
bardzo ciekawe artykuły na
temat życia kościoła w Polsce
także naszej Archidiecezji.
Czytając ten tygodnik a także inne publikacje
np. „Różaniec”, „Anioł stróż”, „Rodzina Radia
Maryja” pogłębiamy naszą wiarę oraz miłość
do Boga i Kościoła
