SLAUGHTERHOUSE „KOJS”
‘Kojs’ abattoir is a family company that has been on the Polish market for several years. ‘The founder
and first owner was the family’s nestor - Władysław Kojs, who in 1990 started an abattoir and production in
small meat and cold meat plant in Spytkowice. On 1st April 1996 the company was taken over by Władysław’s
children - Mirosław and Joanna. In the next years more investments were made, and the sale successes confirm the well-chosen strategy of company’s development. With baby steps they conquered a wider market,
which forced them to make further investments.
In 2012 ways of cattle slaughter have been updated and modernized with the possibility to choose
traditional slaughter or ritual slaughter called halal. The meat freezers have been enlarged and the shipping
process has been modernized. In 2013 also the way of pig slaughter has been updated, which allowed increase of productive capacity. ‘Kojs’ abattoir of cattle and pigs is continuously working to be the leader by
modernizations and investments according to requirements of strict regulations and clients form the European Union.

In 2014 the company took steps to prepare ‘Kojs’ meat plant for the BRC certificate (Global Standard
for Food Safety) which helps improve quality and qualifications, and allows to meet strict requirements of
clients and sales networks. In October 2014 ‘Kojs’ has been positively audited for the BRC certificate, this
proves that the company is reliable and can guarantee the highest quality od offered products. The company
cooperates with the European Union countries, but plans to expand to countries that are outside of the EU.
‘Kojs’ company works by the rule: persistence and pursuit of goals is the recipe for gaining a strong position
on the market.

Nasza firma specjalizuje się w międzynarodowym chłodniczym transporcie mięsa oraz produktów
mrożonych. Działamy głównie na terenie krajów Unii Europejskiej oraz Szwajcarii , jesteśmy otwarci
również na nowe rynki.
Ponadto nasze pojazdy objęte są monitoringiem GPS, na wyposażeniu każdego samochodu standardowo znajduje się telefon komórkowy, co pozwala nam zorganizować bezpieczną dostawę na czas
oraz najwyższą jakość usług.
Our company specialises in international ice truck transport of meats and frozen products. We
mainly operate in the European Union countries and Switzerland, but we are open for new markets.
Moreover our trucks are monitored with GPS, and each vehicle is equipped in a cell phone, which
allows us to organise a safe delivery on time and ensure the highest quality of service.
