Job Description: Global Commodity Purchasing Leader (Non Ferrous Metal Castings) Automotive Hannover PL14- R001-S01 Our Client is one a leading global supplier of technologies and control systems for the safety and efficiency of commercial vehicles. The company has pioneered breakthrough electronic, mechanical and mechatronic technologies for braking, stability, and transmission automation systems supplied to the world’s leading commercial truck, trailer, and bus manufacturers. The role They are currently seeking applicants for Global Commodity Purchasing Leader to drive all necessary actions to achieve the best supplier cost by implementing the right commodity strategy according to their business needs and leading supplier relationship. Reporting to the Strategic Purchasing Leader and leading a global team of 28 reports (solid and dotted line located in Poland, Germany, China, India, North & South America you will be mostly responsible for: Key accountabilities: QCD performance of Commodity Create Commodity strategy in line with BUs Leeds Ensure global implementation of commodity strategy Validate strategy and QCD targets per supplier Prepare and implement Commodity AOP Execute CQP for xCDP and CRPs on time Ensure TCO visibility for sourcing decisions Drive Continuous Improvement process from/at supplier (supplier suggestion, VA/VE workshop, lean) Set up problem solving strategy for supplier warranty claims Manage supplier relationship Manage supplier contracts Risk assessment of Commodity supply base Improve processes in collaboration with S&P Business Improvement Team Qualifications and experience: Master Degree in Mechanical or Business Engineering (or equivalent degree). 5 years of experience in Leadership Position, experience in leading a regional/ global team. Experience with non ferrous metal castings commodity. Technical knowledge of modern process and production methods. Sourcing / Supply Chain knowledge. Minimum 7 years of experience in an international purchasing environment, including negotiation and supplier management. Experience in the automotive industry (matrix environment) would be highly appreciated. Quality, Cost, Delivery experience. Ability to drive results in a team environment with sense for initiative. Excellent communication and relation skills. Change Management capabilities. Experience in SAP or other ERP systems is an asset. Six Sigma certification is an asset. Fluent in English and other European language (German, French, Polish) is an asset Willingness to travel. Przygotowanie kandydata do rozmowy z klientem. - przesłanie podsumowania w formie elektronicznej – wskazówki/ przykłady najczęstszych pytao rekrutacyjnych 6. Proces rekrutacyjny po stronie Klienta: Kilka rozmów rekrutacyjnych: 2 telefoniczne interview HR następne z hiring managerem 1 F2F interview z hiring managerem i HR (Hannover) 1 interview z zarządem w Brukseli 7. Informacja zwrotna na temat wyniku procesu rekrutacyjnego.
