Quick installation of the Creatix CTX921 TV Tuner card
System requirements:
- Intel Pentium > 1GHz or equate AMD system with free PCMCIA/Card bus slot and USB
socket
- OS: Windows 2000, Windows XP with DirectX 9c
Step - 1
Power off your notebook, insert the TV Tuner card in a free PCMCIA/Card bus slot.
Plug the USB cable (shipped with your TV Tuner card) to the mini USB port on the
TV Tuner card and to a available USB port on your notebook. Connect your
antenna to the antenna input jack (female input for TV, male input for Radio) on the
TV Tuner card.
Step - 2
Power on the PC and login as a User/Administrator. The Windows operating
system will detect the presence of the Creatix CTX921 TV Tuner card as
“Multimedia Controller” and will pop up a window. Select on the “Install from a
specific location (Advanced)” checkbox and press “Next” button to continue.
Step - 3
Select checkbox “Include this location in the search” and browse to the location
of the driver. Then choose “Next” to continue.
Step - 4
Windows starts to copy driver files.
Step - 5
After successful Installation, the Hardware wizard shows completion message,
confirm this window by pressing the “Finish” button
