Aims of teaching
The goal of this course unit is to keep good body condition, to build a habit of doing sports
systematically and to get students familiar with physical exercises that mould posture, stamina and
strenght.

Course content
Health and safety regulations in physical education. Human motor activity. Strenghtening of all
muscles group. Work on strenght, stamina, fastness, agility, jumping ability and flexibility of the body.
Enhancement of general motor activity. Solidification of healthy behavior patterns, caring of own body
and fitness. Basketball and volleyball skills at recreational level. Indtroduction of modern forms of
exercising – fitness, gym.

Health and safety regulations in physical education. Team sports – improving acquired skills;
recreational sports games. Moulding strength of skeletal muscles by exercises with loading – gym
classes. Exercises that mould correct poisz with the use of tools and accessories. Field athletics.

Selected problems of data security and information systems (data protection, confidentiality of
information, computer viruses, data encryption, the safe use of equipment and software). The main
assumptions of information and communication technology / ICT / - legal aspects (Copyright,
Netiquette). Working with documents in different file formats. The speed and efficiency. Inserting
tables, paintings and drawings to documents. The rules for creating, saving and editing documents.
Writing and reading documents. Organization of the website outlook. Writing basic official documents.
Tabs and Tables. Text editor’s graphical side. Mathematical equations editor. Mechanisms improving
editing text documents. Macros. Forms. Hyperlinks in text documents. Mail merge. Cooperation with
external text editor applications such as PDF creator. Setting page, checking and correcting writing.
Using the network for the collection of materials on a given topic. Basic computer network topologies.
The principle of sharing files and folders. Communication in the local area network. Features of web
browsers. Methods and ways to use the Web sites. E-mail: setting up your e-mail address and

The aim of the course is to provide knowledge about the most important views on important
philosophical and ideological disputes in the philosophical tradition, referring to the basic

characteristics of the natural world, human and social life. The course is also to encourage and
prepare students to study specialized studies in philosophy and philosophical issues that arise in
other social and humanistic disciplines. The aim of the course, in terms of social competence, is to
provide the student with more efficient speaking skills in order to discuss important issues of the
modern world, to increase the capacity for objective, not emotional, assessment of historical and
contemporary events and in-depth awareness of the importance of ethical behavior in society.

1 Introduction. Philosophy - the philosophy, the difficulties experienced in determining the object of
philosophy. The multiplicity of definitions of philosophy.
2 Selected problems of ancient and medieval ideas on philosophy of the West: Concepts of archaic
philosophy (the formulation of the first principle, the beginnings of the theory of cognition). Milesians,
Heraclitus of Ephesus, Elat, Pythagoreans, Atomists. Socrates’ ideas. The Plato's theory of ideas, the
concept of man and society - the state. First philosophy of Aristotle. Aurelius Augustine's observation.
Scholasticism: the relationship between reason and faith, the dispute about universals. Anselm of
Canterbury, Thomas Aquinas (rational evidence for the existence of God).
3 Basic trends and problems of modern philosophy. The dispute over the methods and models of
knowledge. Descartes and Locke views. The evolution of modern empiricism: Locke, Berkeley,
Hume. Concepts of natural law and the social contract in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries.
The great systems of German philosophy in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries (Kant, Hegel).
The basic ideas of Marx's philosophy. Nineteenth-century Positivism - Comte, J. S. Mill - and the anti
–positivist reaction. Pragmatism (James).
4 A review of selected philosophical orientations of the twentieth century: phenomenology NeoThomism, existentialism, structuralism, analytic philosophy, postmodernism of the end century.

Aims of teachnig
The purpose of this lecture is to show way of leading scientific research and theoretical recognition of
social human behavior, social organization and interactions that occur in them. An additional aim is to

Aims of teachnig
To familiarize students with the possibilities of the use of maps and atlases for analysis, programming
and presentation of various events on tourism and recreation. The main task will be to teach the skills
of reading various maps and plans, interpretation of their content. During the exercises will be
improved ability to perform simple measurement and analysis using the map - refer to the relevant
methods in the field of topography and cartography.

Tourism and Recreation, 32
Objectives and tasks of cartography and topography., the relationship between topography and
geodesy, the measurement methods of the country., the shape and size of the Earth, coordinate
systems. The definition of the map, its features and functions, the scale of the map., cartographic
projections, types of of mappings, the creation of cartographic grids, forms of distortion., types of
maps, the main elements of content. The main types of topographic maps. Presentations phenomena
on maps - maps thematic overview of the main types of thematic maps, basic geodetic
measurements methods, elements of analysis maps based on topographic maps, methods of
measurement on maps (distance, area, angle and volume). Interpretation of surface morphology on
the map: lines skeletal peaks and passes, making the longitudinal and transverse profile of the area.
Tourist map as a thematic map.

Service culture and ethics of the profession of staff of the tourism industry. Desirable features of
employee travel industry. Tourist Code of Ethics and its reference to the Polish tourism economy.
Modern trends in domestic and foreign tourism - preferred new destinations, types of tourism
activities, forms of organization and operation of tourism. Systematic generic tourist services. Legal
regulations concerning the provision of hotel services, hotel services generic scheme, a form of
cooperation with tour operators tourism businesses. Food & beverage, systematics generic dining
establishments, catering to tourism. Services on the desk. Tourist transport - the types of means of
transport used in tourism, their advantages and disadvantages, legal regulations provide transport
services.

Planning, organization and technical program of organized tourism group. Route selection policy, and
accommodation and food. Logistical issues (coach - the procurement process), financial events,
insurance and medical assistance. Individual Equipment participants, development of a trip, a division
of routes into sections daily, sightseeing program. Sports, leisure and cultural activities. The tour
leader and its role in handling foreign tourists. Practical implementation of the plan and the tour of the

organized group tourism. Methods for assessing the level of tourist satisfaction with the quality of
service and organization of the event. Planning and running the route and techniques to carry it out,
depending on the age of the participants and the level of experience of canoeing. Ways of applying
board and accommodation, distribution of individual and team tasks. Providing tourist group and
individual with equipment at events canoeing. Providing specialist and medical equipment. Criteria for
the selection of hired water sports equipment and techniques of its contracting and insuring. The draft
of the program of canoeing event (including the route’s division into daily sections, determining the
place of accommodation and places to purchase food, crating the sightseeing and sports program recreational and cultural – the entertainment). Practical implementation of the plan and program of
canoeing events, taking into account all the principles of formal, methodological and substantive
issues, including: the rules of using tourist areas protected by law, rules for the use of the water and
forestry environment, rules for camping .

The concept of law, sources of law, the legal system and legal sources tourist. Conditions for taking
up business in the sector of tourism and recreation. Legal basis for hotel services. Indemnification
travel agencies. An agency agreement. Contracts entered into by a travel agency with clients - an
agreement for the tourist and individual service contracts: contract work and the written order.
Normalization of consumer protection law in the light of the Act on Tourist Services. Detailed legal
regulations tourism and recreation contracts and other obligations of the organizers and travel agents.
Contractual liability and tort. Legalese powers tourist guide and tour guides. Travel insurance.
Contract of carriage of passengers and baggage. Key findings and forms of nature conservation,

Geotouristic Route - ideas. Natural geotouristic attractions and rules for their distribution. The criteria
for allocation of geotouristic routes. Basis of routes: assessment of potential attractiveness and the
impact of increased tourism. Design examples of tours and programs, events, work with a map of the
area, plotting terrain profiles, 3D mapping, safety precautions. Setting sightseeing options. Designing
information folders. Geotouristic event - a project of the national tour, the project of the foreign tour.

Students will learn the process of motor learning, which determines participation in
recreational activities and programming principles recreation for people of all ages. Project
will develop a recreational event, and to improve the competence of participants in
recreational motor design the use of methods and forms of teaching of selected movement
skills (including the use of computer technology). Students demonstrate their creativity in the
programming process of recreation suited to the needs and capabilities of the students and

Aims of teachnig
Students will critically analyze the sources of information about research and scientific
hypotheses in the field of tourism and recreation. Formulate the research problem (selection
of the primary object of study). Determine the dependent variables, independent and
mediating in the ongoing research. According to the prepared test plan will select the
methods and tools of research. After collection, processing and analysis of data will develop
a written report of the examination and submit it in the form of a multimedia presentation.
