SMARTY OFFICE LS Battery installation MT1037K Charging battery The wireless mouse use two AAA Ni-Mh rechargeable batteries. 1. Open the battery compartment. 2. Insert the batteries as shown inside the battery compartment. 3. Close the cover. Your mouse uses two AAA size Ni-MH rechargeable batteries. Before you use the mouse, you need to place the mouse on the stand to charge the batteries for 10 hours. This is very important to battery life. Please make sure the charge indicator is light ON when you charge the mouse. When you feel your wireless mouse is not working smoothly, that means that the batteries need to be recharged. Please put the mouse on the stand for charging, Normally it will take 8 hours to get the batteries fully charged. NOTE: Please use only Ni-Mh rechargeable battery. DO NOT USE alkaline, non-rechargeable battery or Ni-Cd battery. Connecting the Receiver The receiver should be connected to any free USB port in computer. NOTE: Windows ME or higher of Macintosh OS 8.6 or higher is required for USB port installation. System may ask You to insert original system installation CD. Receiver indicators There is two indicators (LEDs) in the receiver Connect: indicator will flash slowly when “connect” button is pressed. After ID synchronization, “connect” LED will flash faster when mouse is used. Charging: red color LED is lighting when mouse is in the cardle and battery are charging. Indicator will be turned off when battery is full. Connect Indicator Instructions manual Charge Indicator NOTE: Some computer will turn off the power of USB port when entering sleep mode. In this case, the battery inside the mouse can not be charged. So you are requested to keep your computer always ON when you charge the mouse. Software installation The driver supports Win 98/SE, Win 2000 and Win XP. The driver will install automatically if the auto-run is enable in your computer, Otherwise, you can manually launch the installation by double clicking the file auto-run in the CD-ROM. The setup applets icon of the mouse will appear on the windows taskbar after successfully completing software installation. You can double click or right click the applet, and setup the functions of your preferred selection for mouse to enhance your device. Office shortcut buttons You mouse come 4 Office shortcut buttons: Changing mouse ID Application switch To synchronize mouse with receiver (change ID), press “connect” button in receiver first then press once “connect button located on bottom of the mouse. Repeat Scroll up Repeat Scroll down Close NOTE: Synchronization is required each time after replacing batteries. Repeat scroll up: Keep pressed to scroll the page up without move the Scroll wheel Repeat scroll down: Keep pressed to scroll the page down without move the scroll wheel Application switch: switch from different task in your windows Close application: Close current active windows. Operację tę należy przeprowadzić tylko raz i jest ona istotna ze względu na późniejszy czas pracy akumulatorów. Podczas ładowania, dioda „Ładowanie” w podstawce powinna się świecić. Podczas użytkowania myszki, nierówne, przerywane poruszanie się kursora na ekranie jest oznaką, że akumulatory są wyczerpane i należy je naładować. W tym celu należy wstawić myszkę do ładowarki na ok. 8 godzin (najlepiej, do czasu zgaśnięcia czerwonej diody w podstawce). WAŻNE: Do zasilania myszki można używać TYLKO akumulatorów AAA Ni-Mh. W żadnym wypadku nie można używać baterii pierwotnych i alkalicznych jak i akumulatorów Ni-Cd. Uszkodzenia spowodowane użytkowaniem niewłaściwych ogniw nie są objęte gwarancją. Podłączenie odbiornika Odbiornik powinien być podłączony do wolnego portu USB 1.1 lub 2.0 w komputerze. WAŻNE: Myszka pracująca z interfejsem USB wymaga systemu Windows ME lub wyższego oraz Macintosh OS 8.6 lub wyższego. Podczas instalacji system może poprosić o włożenie oryginalnej płyty instalacyjnej systemu. Diody sygnalizacyjne W odbiorniku RF zostały zainstalowane dwie diody sygnalizacyjne LED. Połączenie: po naciśnięciu przycisku „connect”, w czasie wyszukiwania myszki, zielona dioda miga powoli. Po zsynchronizowaniu, w trakcie poruszania myszką, dioda miga szybko. WAŻNE: Przeprowadzenie synchronizacji jest niezbędne przy każdej zmianie akumulatorów.
