Dear Sirs,
We would like to invite you to present us the offer for co-operation with Polski Koncern Naftowy ORLEN
S.A. in respect to metals recovery from the spent catalyst generated by one of our plants – and spent
catalyst disposal.
• Spent catalyst from Unit HON VI - quantity 350 m

Catalyst bed in amount approx. 310 m contains:
Catalysts NiMo ca. 345 t (metal content in the fresh catalyst: MoO3: 10-15%, NiO: 1-5%, Ni3S2: 1-5%).
Other components: ceramic ball, active bed and contaminations)
The quantity of catalyst's bed will be increasing after unloading the catalyst because of the reactor was filled
by method “dense”.

Spent catalyst will be ready for collection in May 2013.

The spent catalyst will be packed in containers of 2 m capacity.(BIN)
Exact quantity of spent catalyst will be provide after unloading from the reactor.
Moreover your offer shall contain the following parts:
1. No. 1 "Commercial offer" should contain (file 1):
a)
Cost of treating the catalyst covering preparation of the material for metal recovery and residues
recycling, weighting, sampling and analysis, etc.
b)
Formula which will be the base for calculation of the values of recovered metals. Such formula shall
be based on metals quotations and shall include the maximum treatment charge applicable in case when
the recovery/recycling costs exceed the values of recovered metals.
c) Prices into two options : with packing in BIN and without packing.
EUR/USD currency exchange in case if applicable,
d)
e) Payment Conditions
f) confirmation regarding your company that neither liquidation nor bankruptcy have been initiated,
g) confirmation that you accept the conditions of above mentioned enquiry.
"Commercial offer" should be secured with a password, which should be sent to the Buyer by a separate email on the closing date for receipt of offers, but only after the expiry of the term , e.g. 21.09.2012 after 1.00
p.m.
2. No. 2 "Technical offer" should contain (file 2):
- subject of the offer together with the technical specification.
- recovery of metals and utilisation/disposal of residue material/ regeneration and remove impurities – with
description of the process;.
- confirmation of readiness to arrange all formalities connected with receipt of appropriate permissions from
the respective authorities of receiver and transit countries according to the REGULATION (EC) No
1013/2006 OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of 14 June 2006 on shipments of
waste if applicable
- confirmation of readiness of issuance of certify that the non-interim recovery or disposal has been
completed acc. to the Article no. 16 of a.m. Regulation.
PKN ORLEN S.A. reserves the right to arbitrary selection of company/companies with whom negotiations
will be conducted, referring to part or total scope of the offer presented in response to this enquiry and to
conclude the agreement with more than on Supplier chosen during negotiations. The scope of the
agreement can cover part or total scope of presented response for quotation.
PKN ORLEN S.A. reserves the right to cancellation of the tendering process and withdrawing from
