Situation
A commercial building within an old quarry was at risk of falling rocks from the back wall of the quarry.

A total number of 44 rock bolts and 4 anchors were installed at height into a sub-vertical to overhanging
®
cliff. 420 m² of high tensile TECCO G65/3 steel mesh was installed to work with the rock bolts. These
ranged in length between 3 and 12 [m] and the anchors were between 8 and 12 m. As the works were
generally greater than 6 m in height above ground level, supplementary man access via ropes or mobile
®
elevating work access platform was used. The low weight of TECCO G65/3 mesh rolls was ideal for this
project.
