Christ is Risen! Alleluia,
Today we
celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus.
Today we celebrate the victory Christ has won for us
a victory over sin and death.
It is a day when we rejoice that Christ has chosen to reveal to us his
plan for the world and has singled us out for a particular role in it.
It is a day when we rejoice in the new hope given to the world.
Alleluia!

On Easter morning everything—the spring weather, the
flowers, birds and bu erflies, the people around us in their
finery, the beau ful liturgy and music—everything seems to

when "all the divine
floodgates through
which graces flow are
opened".
bear witness that Jesus Christ is risen today! Like the eyewitness accounts in today’s scriptures, the glorious and joyful
life all around us helps us to believe the good news of the
Resurrec on and sing “Alleluia!”
In the scriptures today we hear from Peter and Paul and
John. All three speak with convic on about witnessing the
resurrected Christ.
John’s Gospel account includes Mary of Magdala,
who also was privileged to witness the
Resurrec on and tell others the good news.
On this glorious Easter Sunday can we ourselves
give eyewitness accounts that Jesus Christ is risen
today, alive and ac ve in our lives?
Our Lord made a great promise to all those
souls who would go to Confession and
then receive Him in Holy Communion on
the Feast of Mercy, He promised that
"the soul that will go to Confession and
receive Holy Communion shall obtain
the complete forgiveness of sins and
punishment."

Zmartwychwstał! Alleluja! Alleluja!
Istnieje świat czystego dobra, do którego zło już nie sięga!
Warto być dobrym, aby do tego świata należeć!
Niech blask Zmartwychwstania rozświetli wszelkie wasze mroki dnia
codziennego! Niech umocni waszą wiarę, wypełni was nadzieją i
ufnością i wasze serca rozpali żarem miłości!
Niech was samych i całe wasze rodziny napełni jednością i pokojem!
Niech Zmartwychwstały Chrystus wlewa w wasze serca nowe nadzieje i nowe
siły na każdy dzień waszego życia!
Niech ten poranek stanie się dla Nas wszystkich zachętą do jeszcze
piękniejszego życia i umocnieniem w naszej codzienności!
Wesołych i Błogosławionych Świąt Wielkanocnych
życzą

W następną niedzielę będziemy obchodzili
Święto Miłosierdzia Bożego.
Święto Miłosierdzia Bożego, ma najwyższą rangę wśród
wszystkich postaci nabożeństwa do Miłosierdzia Bożego,
które zostały objawione s. Faustynie.
Słowa Pana Jezusa do Siostry Faustyny:
"...Pragnę, aby pierwsza niedziela po Wielkanocy była
Świętem Miłosierdzia."
To pragnienie po raz pierwszy wypowiedział Pan Jezus w
Płocku w 1931 roku.
Święto to wyszło z wnętrzności miłosierdzia mojego i jest zatwierdzone w głębokościach
zamiłowań moich. Wszelka dusza wierząca i ufająca miłosierdziu mojemu – dostąpi go”.
Boże, którego Miłosierdzie jest niezgłębione, a skarby litości nieprzebrane,
wejrzyj na nas łaskawie i pomnóż w nas ufność w Miłosierdzie swoje,
byśmy nigdy, w największych nawet trudnościach nie poddawali się rozpaczy,
lecz zawsze ufnie zgadzali się z wolą Twoją, który jesteś samym Miłosierdziem.
Przez Pana naszego Jezusa Chrystusa, Króla Miłosierdzia, który z Tobą i Duchem Świętym okazuje
nam Miłosierdzie, na wieki wieków. Amen.

Expect the Unexpected
We all know what to expect of Easter: lots of lilies
around the altar, our “Alleluia” joyfully sung over
and over, perhaps a tasty ham dinner later in the
day, topped off by some chocolates from the Easter
basket. But all of this began, as we hear in today’s
Gospel, with the “unexpected” when Mary
Magdalene found the tomb empty. Indeed, Peter’s
speech from Acts in the first reading could insert
the phrase “you might have expected” at a member
of points…. that Jesus would baptize John, not the
other way around….that his healing and exorcizing
ministry would win him acclaim, not death…. that
his resurrection would place him in another
dimension, not back at table with his followers.
On a day like Easter, a day filled with traditions,
customs, and expectations, we are called more than
ever to keep looking for God’s will in unexpected
places, people, and events. In this way we can continue to give witness, like Mary Magdalene and Peter, that Christ is truly risen from the dead, and continues to live among us.
