Zoltán Fátyol / urodzony w roku 1954 w Drebreczynie; studia Medgyessy Ferenc Képzőművészeti Kör
w Debreczynie, w latach 1972 - 76 w Egerze Teacher-Training College, gdzie ukończył matematykę
i rysunek; Od roku 1984 członek Hungarian Union of Creative Artist; Od roku 1992 członek Hungarian
Association of Fine and Apllied Artists. Pracuje jako nauczyciel w Kölcsey Ferenc Reformed Teacher
Training College. od roku 1986 mieszka wraz z rodziną w środowisku artystycznym Debreczyna. Od
roku 1972 wystawia swoje prace na wielu wystawach.
Nagrody i stypendia: 1991, 1997 Nagrody Káplár Miklós na Międzynarodowym Art Camp w

Zoltán Fátyol / 1954 was born in Debrecen; Studied at the free school: Medgyessy Ferenc
Képzőművészeti Kör in Debrecen. 1972 - 76 Eger Teacher-Training College, gradueted from
matematic and drawing subjects; 1984 - Member of the Hungarian Union of Creative Artist; 1992 Member of the Hungarian Association of Fine and Apllied Artists. Teacher of Kölcsey Ferenc
Reformed Teacher Training College. 1986 - lieves with his family and works on Debrecen Art Colony;
1972 - exhibits his works on different exhibitions

"Zoltán Fátyol przedstawia fikcyjny model świata. Jego dzieła przybliżają odbiorcy zasadnicze
doświadczenie, według którego otaczającą człowieka upośledzoną rzeczywistość można naprawić
oraz że "niebiański odpowiednik rzeczywistości" można zidentyfikować zawsze i wszędzie. Na jego
asamblażach, kolażach z przedmiotów, bezwartościowe przedmioty - zużyte torebki, części pierwsze z
rozpadniętych krzeseł lub wyrzucone tablice - otrzymują nową tożsamość. …To obrazowanie świata
składa się z myśli o sprzeczności oraz zbieżności natury i kultury, pochylenia się nad kawałkami
rozpadającej się cywilizacji oraz zamiaru okrzyknięcia go sztuką…
...Ta kariatyda to swoisty obraz człowieka dźwigającego ciężar, którego kształty oraz dźwigany przez
niego ciężar są ponadczasowe. "Wszyscy jesteśmy kariatydami, a zadaniem naszym jest utrzymanie
organicznego porządku świata!" - to przesłanie schematycznych postaci ludzkich... za niektórymi
egzemplarzami kryje się pytanie, czy możemy znów żyć w zgodzie z naturą, z Nadprzyrodzonym, ale
też z samym sobą i innymi, a jeśli tak, to jak tego dokonać?

"Zoltán Fátyol presents a fictional model of the world. His works bring the viewer closer to the
fundamental experience, according to which the imperfect reality may be rectified and that the
"heavenly counterpart of reality" may be identified all the time and everywhere. On his assemblages,
collages from objects, worthless items - used bags, basic parts of dilapidated chairs and discarded
boards - receive a new identity… This imaging of the world consists of thoughts about the
contradiction and convergence of nature and culture, reaching out to parts of the disintegrating
civilization and the intention to call it art…
...This caryatid is a peculiar picture of the human being lifting a heavy object whose shape and the
load lifted by him are timeless. "We all are caryatids and our task is to maintain the organic order of
the world!" - this is the message of schematic human characters … there is a question hidden behind
some specimens - are we able to live in harmony with nature, with the Supernatural, but also with
ourselves and with others, and if so, then how can we achieve it?
