II.B.1 II.B.2 II.B.3 II.B.4 II.B.5 II.B.6 II.B.7 II.B.8 II.B.9 Nazwa przedmiotu (course title) Metal constructions Kod przedmiotu (course code) Typ przedmiotu (type of course) Poziom przedmiotu (level of course) Rok studiów, semestr (year of study, semester/trimester) Liczba punktów (numer of credits) Metody nauczania (teaching methods) Język wykładowy (language of instruction) Imię i nazwisko wykładowcy (name of lecturer) Course status • compulsory L-30 , D-15 Knowledge Student has the basic knowledge of using metal constructions in civil engineering. Student recognizes properties of steel, aluminum alloys and combined steel-concrete constructions. Student knows the assortment of steel products. Student differentiates and can classify crosssections of steel elements. Student knows basic principles of designing elements and joints of steel constructions included in PN-EN 1993-1-1 and PN-EN 1993-1-8 standards. Student recognizes possible forms of stability loss occuring in steel constructions. Abilities Student can use requirements and recommendations of PN-EN 1993-1-1 and PN-EN 1993-1-8 standards to design or verify load capacity of simple construction elements. Student knows basic principles of joint forming in steel constructions and is able to design or verify load capacity of simple lap screwed or welded joints. Social competences (attitudes) Student gets aware of co-responsibility in building industry: designer’s, steel construction producer’s, production engineer’s and head’s of building/assembling in a process of building investment with use of steel constructions.
