Toruń Kruszwica OUR CAMINO POLACO Pilgrims are able to see a lot of monuments on the Camino de Santiago. One of them is roman basilic of Saint Peter and Paul. This is probably the best preserved roman object in Poland. Despite all of the historic, cultural and religious advantages the roud also abounds with places connetced with nature. Jezioro Gopło in Kruszwica is placed within NATURA 2000. In the hearth of Kruszwica it is easy to find the church of Thérèse of Lisieux. Pilgrims can watch there Knights Tournaments and a part of Camino Polaco. Brzozówka Here in Brzozówka route goes through stunning mixed forest. On ones way one can encounter evangelical cemetery. Yellow ribbons are saying: ,,This is the favourite way of the pilgrims!” In this picture one can admire neogothic St. Adalberts of Prague church. Złotoria is the place of Danusia’s death. Danusia is hero of the book ,,Krzyżacy” by Henryk Sienkiewicz. Kaszczorek On the route of Santiago de Compostela in Poland it is worth to visit historic open-air museum which shows daily life of polish old-time village.
