Aims of teachnig
Transfer of theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the field of human anatomy correct in terms
of functional and certain pathological conditions, an indication of the relationship between the
structural construction of the human body and its functions and relationships and adaptation to the
environment. Discussion of the main structural-functional systems with particular emphasis on
human organs located in the head and neck.

Aims of teachnig
An indication of the human biological system. To provide students with the most important stages
of human ontogeny and phylogeny of its emphasis on the development of culture. Developed ability
to interpret changes in human populations and their diversity on the basis of genetic, environmental
and cultural background. Indication of health behaviors and genetic and environmental health risks.
Familiar with the methodology of monitoring and evaluation of individual development of body,
especially the face, and health.

Place a man in a biological system against the construction of uniform designs functional and
genetic structure. Theories of the formation and development of life on Earth. Phylogeny man
(anthropogenesis) - the most important stages. Health consequences of anatomical and upright
posture. The importance of genetics for human health and the development of science: biology,
medicine. Ethical and moral issues associated with the development of genetics. Development of
the individual (ontogeny). Genetic determinants of physical and motor development. Fundamentals
of human ecology - environmental determinants of health and development. Adaptation to the
changing conditions of life. Patterns and problems auxology and gerontology. Audit methodology
development and evaluation of the normal structure of the body.

The importance of microbiology in dental technology. Introduction to virology, bacteriology
and parasitology mouth. Morphology and physiology of selected groups of microorganisms
(bacteria, fungi, viruses) and parasites. The importance of the oral microflora with particular
reference to the processes of colonization and the development of dental caries. Systematic

Health rules in prosthetic-orthodontic laboratory. Biological threats (viruses, bacteria, fungi,
parasites), physical (ultraviolet radiation and laser radiation) and chemical (xenobiotics, alcohols,
aldehydes, phenols) in the workplace: disinfection and sterilization. Diseases of bacterial, fungal and
parasitic origin and their prevention. HIV, HBV, HCV, and conduct post-exposure, food poisoning
caused by disease of dirty hands.

Elements of the tax law (e.g.: Trader tax obligations, including determining business income and tax
liability). The basic legal requirements for starting and running a small business (some types of legal
forms) - including formal and legal requirements under the act on freedom of economic activity and
acts specific requirements of leading dental company. Elements of the labor law - hiring of dental
companies - including types of contracts, the remuneration of employees, the employer's
obligations to external institutions resulting from the employment of the employee. Selected
financial issues in dental companies, including calculation of profitability, production rates, taking
into account the assumed operating conditions.

The use of ceramics in dental technology - the basic issues. Natural and synthetic aluminum silicates.
Sintering technique, firing and firing the metal. Physical and chemical transformations occurring in
ceramic materials. Ceramic engineering and firing cycle of a ceramic material. Metal-free ceramics.
Taking ceramic restorations supported computational technology. Equipment and organization of
