Polish Fair Trade Coalition Annual activity report 2012 I. Introduction Polish Fair Trade Coalition was founded by 9 non‐governmental organisations on March 16th, 2009. Its task in 2012 was to carry out several joint initiatives. The most important one was to finalize the Coalition from the formal point of view and create a Foundation of the Fair Trade Coalition. The report does not include activities carried out by particular members of the coalition although these were equally important. Due to a decision made in 2012 to attempt to register the Coalition as a Foundation, a short list of entities collaborating within informal coalition between March 16th, 2009 and the end of 2012 is presented. Activities related to creation of the Foundation After numerous meetings and online discussions the statute was drawn up and a group of 11 entities interested in joint registration of the Foundation of the Fair Trade Coalition was formed. The Foundation will take over the activities of informal Coalition started in 2009 as other entities previously working within the Coalition did not express their will to join others in registering of the Foundation (they either stopped their operations; stopped being active or limited their activities in the field of fair trade; or do not cooperate with the Coalition anymore). Due to the fact that one of the entities interested in being part of the Coalition did not provide sufficient documentation, the final authenticated deed, witnessed by the notary, Mr. Hubert Perycz, was signed in Warsaw on 2nd December 2012 by 10 entities: 1.
