CALL FOR PAPERS Participants intending to present a paper are invited to send abstracts - in English - of up to 300 words to the Conference Secretariat by 23rd November 2014. Accepted abstracts will be published in a special conference volume. As post-conference publications, 40 most outstanding papers will be published in the special volume of IAH selected papers (30 papers) and Environmental Earth Sciences (10 papers). OFFICIAL LANGUAGE The official language of the Conference will be English. EXCURSION Conference Field Trip – visit to Carpathian Mountains (Soła River Valley, pumped-storage hydroelectricity), negative impact of various sources of groundwater contamination, visit to old brewery. ACCOMPANYING PERSONS Accompanying persons may join the Conference. Special programme for accompanying persons will be organised. SECOND CIRCULAR Second circular giving more details on the organisation of the Conference will be distributed in December 2014. ACCOMMODATION Hotel at the Conference complex - approximately 30 - 50 Euro per person per night (breakfast included). VENUE The Conference will be held in Ustroń, Poland. Ustroń is one of the best known Polish resorts and spas in the Beskidy Mts. The town is located 90 km south of Katowice in the southern part of Poland. There are several possibilities of travelling to Katowice: by air, by train or by bus. Special buses from Sosnowiec to Ustroń will be provided by the Conference organisers.
