Families in the Śląskie Voivodship
na podstawie wyników Narodowego Spisu Powszechnego Ludności i Mieszkań 2011
based on the results of the 2011 National Population and Housing Census
W NSP 2011 przez gospodarstwo domowe
rozumie się zespół osób spokrewnionych lub
niespokrewnionych, mieszkających razem
i wspólnie utrzymujących się.
W spisywanym mieszkaniu mogło mieszkać
jedno, dwa, trzy lub więcej gospodarstw
domowych.
Na podstawie stosunku pokrewieństwa
każdej osoby z głową gospodarstwa
domowego oraz dodatkowych informacji
ustalano skład rodzinny gospodarstwa
domowego, tzn. liczbę i typy rodzin.

The following types of households were
distinguished taking into account the
relationships of persons:
a) family
- one-family,
- two-family,
- three family and over,
b)non-family
- one-person,
- multi-person.
Within households the following generational
groups were distinguished: young persons –
aged 0-29 years, middle-aged persons – 3059 years and elder persons – 60 years and
more.

In the 2011 Census, a household is understood as a group of persons related or
unrelated, living together and maintaining
themselves together.
One, two, three or more households could
live in the dwelling under census survey.
Family composition (number and type of
family) was determined on the basis of
relationship of each person with the head of
the family and additional information.
Ze względu na liczbę oraz stosunek pokrewieństwa osób wyróżniono następujące typy
gospodarstw domowych:
a) rodzinne
- jednorodzinne,
- dwurodzinne,
- trzy i więcej rodzinne,
b) nierodzinne - jednoosobowe,
- wieloosobowe.
W gospodarstwach domowych wyróżniono
grupy pokoleniowe: osoby młode –
w przedziale wieku 0-29 lat, w średnim wieku
– 30-59 lat i starsze – 60 lat i więcej.

Rodzina (biologiczna) to dwie lub większa
liczba osób, które są związane jako mąż
i żona, wspólnie żyjący partnerzy (kohabitanci) – osoby płci przeciwnej lub jako rodzic
i dziecko.
Rodzina pełna jest to rodzina z obojgiem
rodziców (naturalnych lub innych) z dziećmi,
natomiast rodzina niepełna jest to rodzina
z jednym tylko rodzicem i dziećmi.
Rodzina rozszerzona jest to rodzina
biologiczna z osobą (lub z większą liczbą
osób) spokrewnioną (w linii prostej lub
bocznej) przynajmniej z jednym członkiem
rodziny biologicznej.
A family (biological) is composed of two or
more persons understood as a wife and
husband, partners living together (cohabitants) – persons of opposite sex or a parent
and child.
A complete family is a family composed of
both parents (natural or other) with children,
while a single-parent family is a family with
only one parent and children.
An extended family is a biological family with
a person (or more persons) related (lineal or
collateral relationship) with at least one
member of the biological family.
Jako dziecko określa się osobę w każdym
wieku, która pozostaje w gospodarstwie
domowym wraz z obojgiem lub jednym
z rodziców. Do dzieci zalicza się również
pasierbów oraz dzieci przysposobione.
Dziecko do lat 24 pozostające na utrzymaniu
jest to dziecko w wieku 0-24 lata, które nie
posiada własnego źródła utrzymania
i pozostaje na utrzymaniu innej osoby
wchodzącej w skład gospodarstwa
domowego.
A child is a person (of any age) staying in the
household with one or both parents.
Stepchildren and adopted children are also
considered as children.
Dependent child under 24 years is a child
aged 0-24 years not possessing own source
of maintenance, being maintained by other
person from the househld.
