Jak rozwija się Europejska Polityka Sąsiedztwa (EPS), przed jakimi stoi problemami
i wyzwaniami? Jak powinny wyglądać relacje i współpraca Unii Europejskiej
z państwami sąsiadującymi? Te kwestie zbadają i przeanalizują naukowcy z Collegium
Civitas (CC) w Warszawie wraz ze specjalistami z International Peace Research Institute
(PRIO)* w Oslo.
Zrozumieć sąsiada
– Ogromną wartością dodaną projektu jest udział w nim badaczy z różnych krajów
związanych z PRIO. Dzięki temu spojrzenie na problematykę EPS będzie miało
charakter ponadnarodowy i wieloaspektowy – mówi Anna Zielińska, koordynator
projektu z Collegium Civitas (CC).
W ramach projektu zaplanowano seminaria, wykłady, warsztaty i konferencje,
skierowane zarówno do przedstawicieli świata nauki, jak i administracji publicznej.
Organizatorzy liczą szczególnie na udział urzędników z Polski, przygotowujących się
do polskiej prezydencji w Unii Europejskiej w 2011 r. Wyniki studiów i analiz będą
publikowane m.in. na specjalnej stronie internetowej (w języku angielskim
i polskim).
– Mamy bardzo pozytywne doświadczenia ze współpracy z kolegami z Collegium
Civitas. Oczekujemy, że również i ten projekt, który jest dla nas priorytetowy,
doprowadzi do dalszego rozwoju naszej współpracy, do realizacji kolejnych
przedsięwzięć w dziedzinie studiów i bezpieczeństwa europejskiego – podsumowuje

How is the European Neighbourhood Policy (ENP) developing
and what are the challenges it faces? What should the relations
and co-operation of the European Union with the neighbouring
countries be like? These issues will be analysed by scientists
from Collegium Civitas (CC), Warsaw together with experts
from the International Peace Research Institute (PRIO) in Oslo.

“The involvement of international researchers from the PRIO should be
considered as a major added value in this project. It is going to give the EPN
analyses a trans-national and multi-sided approach”, says Anna Zielińska,
project coordinator of Collegium Civitas (CC).
The project agenda will include seminars, lectures, workshops and conferences,
intended both for fellow researchers, and for representatives of the public
administration sector. The organisers are particularly hopeful to attract Polish
civil servants who are preparing for Poland taking over the EU Presidency
in 2011. The outcome of the studies will be published on a specially set up
website, available in Polish and in English.

Collegium Civitas. We expect that this priority project will further strengthen our
cooperation in the implementation of a variety of activities within the European
