Our church is a Polish– American Roman Catholic
parish and has become the center of Polish
religious,
cultural,
and
social
life.
Our parish is a place where Polish values are
proclaimed and upheld and also a place where
Poles and non-Poles can express fully their fidelity
to God. We are not in any sense a closed
community, and we welcome all Americans
and
all
ethnic
groups
to
our
church.
A key Polish value is openness to the universal
mission of the Church, and thus we try to make
our church a place in which our friends and
neighbors of non-Polish background can feel
comfortable practicing their Catholic faith.
If you are interested in the Catholic faith, which
flows forth from a 1000-year old Polish culture,
traditions and customs, please visit our church.

SECOND SUNDAY OF ADVENT
December 11 - Wednesday (środa) St. Damasus I
Advent is a time for
dreaming.
Some
dream of a white
Christmas.
Others
dream about the gifts
they hope to find under the tree come
Christmas
morning.
Still others dream of
spending
Christmas
on a deserted island far from the demands and
expectations. Whatever your dream, Advent is
also a time to recall God's dream for humanity. As
we prepare to celebrate the birth of Christ as the
Word made flesh, our thoughts are drawn to the
reason for the season, and it does not take us long
to conclude that we are the reason why God sent
his only Son to take on flesh and live among us.
After all, almost as soon as God loved and
dreamed the world into existence, we humans
traded God's dream for dreams of our own; we
went our own way, and we forgot the image and
likeness of God in which we were created. God
loved the world too much to let us remain in our
sin, our isolation, and our separation from him and
one another. God dreamed of restoring the world,
and those who inhabit it, to their original state of
unity and dignity, and it was thus that he decided
to send Jesus to be our Savior.
Maryja
Niepokalana,
najczystsza
Dziewica
swoje: „Tak”.

12:05 pm † Stanley Wtulich PHD (classmate Evelyn Clark)
7:00 pm For Living & Deceased Members of the St. Joseph Parish
December 14 - Saturday (sobota) Saint John of the Cross
12:05pm In loving memory of Grandparents & uncle Budka
(Granddaughter & nice Evelyn Clark)
5:30 pm † Stanley & Valeria Mikos (Konopski Family)
December 15 - Third Sunday of Advent ( III Niedziela Adwentu)
8:40 am Godzinki ku czci NMP
9:00 am † Ludwik & Halina Danowscy (rodzina Sulewskich)
10:30 am Thanksgiving for blessings received (Joyce Bush)
Dziś
obchodzimy uroczystość
Niepokalanego
Ta
wiara zawsze towarzyszyła wierzącym i przejawiała
7:00 wieczorem
i o adwentowej spowiedzi świętej. Niech Pan narodzi się w pełni także
i przede wszystkim w naszych czystych sercach. Niech to będzie czas
naszej wewnętrznej, duchowej mobilizacji do odnowy więzi z Bogiem
i bliźnimi.
