The King’s Speech
Storyline
The King’s Speech is about Prince Albert, the Duke of York, who suffered from stammering.
The Duke got help for his stammering from a speech therapist. This story is about the
friendship between the Duke and his therapist, whose name is Lionel. Lionel helped Prince
Albert to overcome his stammering so that he could deliver speeches in public and over the
radio. The main action of this film takes place in England. The story begins with a speech
Prince Albert delivered before he became the King of England, and it ends with a speech he
made after Prince Albert became King George VI.
