Description
KSU was born in 1977 in a wonderful area of Bieszczady mountains in south-eastern
Poland. First they played as cover band, but soon after started presenting their own
songs. First important live presentation took place in 1980 at New Wave festival in
Kolobrzeg. KSU soon got an offer from german label to release debut album, but due to
mandatory military service, actions of the band were limited, when it came to both
concerts and recordings. Finally first MC "Jabol Punk" was released in 1986. First
official CD was "Pod Prąd" in 1989, and till today is considered as the top achievement
of Polish punk rock scene. KSU got really big recognition, though rarely appeared in media. Instead the band was playing biggest festivals Opole, Jarocin, Woodstock , and released another highly acclaimed albums: „Ustrzyki" (1990), „Moje Bieszczady" (1993), „Na 15-lecie"
(1994), „Bez prądu"( (1995), „21" (1999) „Ludzie bez twarzy"(2002) and „Nasze słowa" (2005).
