The Background of the Divine Mercy Devotion
From the diary of a young Polish nun, Sister Faustina Kowalska, a special devotion
began spreading throughout the world in the
1930s, The message is nothing new, but is
a reminder of what the Church has always
taught through scripture and tradition: that
God is merciful and forgiving and that we, too, must show mercy
and forgiveness. But in the Divine Mercy devotion, the message
takes on a powerful new focus, calling people to a deeper understanding that God’s love is unlimited and available to everyone—especially the greatest sinners.
The message and devotion to Jesus as Divine Mercy is based
on the writing of Saint Faustina Kowalska, an uneducated Polish
nun who, in obedience to her spiritual director, wrote a diary of
about 600 pages recording the revelations she received about
God’s mercy. Even before her death in 1938, the devotion to the
Divine Mercy had begun to spread.
The message of mercy is that God loves us—all of us—no
matter how great our sins. He wants us to recognize that His
mercy is greater than our sins, so that we will call upon Him with
trust, receive His mercy, and let it flow through us to others.
Thus, all will come to share His joy. It is a message we can call
to mind simple by remembering ABC.
Ask for His Mercy. God wants us to approach Him in prayer
constantly, repenting of our sins and asking Him to pour His
mercy out upon us and upon the whole world.
Be merciful. God wants us to receive His mercy and let if flow
though us to others. He wants us to extend love and forgiveness
to others just as He does to us.
Completely trust in Jesus. God wants us to know that the graces
of His mercy are dependent upon our trust. The more we trust in
Jesus, the more we will receive.
Concerning the Feast of Mercy Jesus said:
“Whoever approaches the Fountain of Life on this day will be
granted complete forgives of sins and punishment.”

“I want the image solemnly blessed on the first Sunday after
Easter, and I want it to be venerated publicly so that every soul
may know about it.” (Diary 341)
“This Feast emerged from the very depths of My mercy, and it is
confirmed in the vast depths of my tender mercies.” (Diary 420)

Jesus offers us peace, not when we sit quietly in a
pew, but when we allow Our Lord to send us out into
the world to do His work. We will find great peace,
when we to turn away from the materialism of the
world and instead care more deeply for those in
need.

Al anochecer de aquel día, el primero de la semana, estaban los
discípulos en una casa, con las puertas cerradas por miedo a los
judíos. Y en esto entró Jesús, se puso en medio y les dijo: -- Paz
a vosotros. Y, diciendo esto, les enseñó las manos y el costado.
Y los discípulos se llenaron de alegría al ver al Señor. Jesús repitió: -- Paz a vosotros. Como el Padre me ha enviado, así también os envío yo. Y, dicho esto, exhaló su aliento sobre ellos y
les dijo: -- Recibid el Espíritu Santo; a quienes les perdonéis los
pecados, les quedan perdonados; a quienes se los retengáis, les
quedan retenidos. Tomás, uno de los Doce, llamado el Mellizo,
no estaba con ellos cuando vino Jesús. Y los otros discípulos le
decían: -- Hemos visto al Señor. Pero él les contestó: -- Si no
veo en sus manos la señal de los clavos, si no meto el dedo en el
agujero de los clavos y no meto la mano en su costado, no lo
creo. A los ocho días, estaban otra vez dentro los discípulos y
Tomás con ellos. Llegó Jesús, estando cerradas las puertas, se
puso en medio y dijo: -- Paz a vosotros. Luego dijo a Tomás: -Trae tu dedo, aquí tienes mis manos; trae tu mano y métela en
mi costado; y no seas incrédulo, sino creyente. Contestó Tomás:
-- ¡Señor Mío y Dios mío! Jesús le dijo: -- ¿Porque me has visto
has creído? Dichosos los que crean sin haber visto. Muchos
otros signos, que no están escritos en este libro, hizo Jesús a la
vista de los discípulos. Estos se han escrito para que creáis que
Jesús es el Mesías, el Hijo de Dios, y para que, creyendo, tengáis vida en su Nombre.

Divina Misericordia
El mensaje de Misericordia es
que Dios nos Ama – a todos- no
importa cuan grande sean nuestras faltas. Él quiere que reconozcamos que Su Misericordia
es más grande que nuestros
pecados, para que nos acerquemos a Él con confianza, para
que recibamos su Misericordia y
la dejemos derramar sobre
otros. De tal manera de que
todos participemos de Su Gozo.
Es un mensaje que podemos
recordar tan fácilmente como un
ABC.
A — Pide su Misericordia. Dios
quiere que nos acerquemos a Él
por medio de la oración constante, arrepentidos de nuestros pecados
y pidiéndole que derrame Su Misericordia sobre nosotros y sobre el
mundo entero.
B — Sé misericordioso – Dios quiere que recibamos Su Misericordia
y que por medio de nosotros se derrame sobre los demás.
C — Confía completamente en Jesús – Dios nos deja saber que las
gracias de su Misericordia dependen de nuestra confianza. Mientras
más confiemos en Jesús, más recibiremos.
INDULGENCIA PLENARIA
Se concede la indulgencia plenaria, con las condiciones habituales
(confesión sacramental, comunión eucarística y oración por las intenciones del Sumo Pontífice) al fiel que, en el domingo segundo de
Pascua, llamado de la Misericordia divina, en cualquier iglesia u oratorio, con espíritu totalmente alejado del afecto a todo pecado, incluso
venial, participe en actos de piedad realizados en honor de la Misericordia divina, o al menos rece, en presencia del santísimo sacramento de la Eucaristía, públicamente expuesto o conservado en el Sagrario, el Padrenuestro y el Credo, añadiendo una invocación piadosa al
Señor Jesús misericordioso (por ejemplo, "Jesús misericordioso,
confío en ti").
La Misa de Aniversario de Bodas de Oro será el

II Niedziela Wielkanocna - Niedziela Miłosierdzia Bożego
Było to wieczorem owego pierwszego dnia tygodnia. Tam gdzie
przebywali uczniowie, drzwi były zamknięte z obawy przed Żydami, Jezus wszedł, stanął pośrodku i rzekł do nich: Pokój wam!
A to powiedziawszy, pokazał im ręce i bok. Uradowali się zatem
uczniowie ujrzawszy Pana. A Jezus znowu rzekł do nich: Pokój
wam! Jak Ojciec Mnie posłał, tak i Ja was posyłam. Po tych
słowach tchnął na nich i powiedział im: Weźmijcie Ducha Świętego! Którym odpuścicie grzechy, są im odpuszczone, a którym
zatrzymacie, są im zatrzymane. Ale Tomasz, jeden z Dwunastu,
zwany Didymos, nie był razem z nimi, kiedy przyszedł Jezus.
Inni więc uczniowie mówili do niego: Widzieliśmy Pana! Ale on
rzekł do nich: Jeżeli na rękach Jego nie zobaczę śladu gwoździ
i nie włożę palca mego w miejsce gwoździ, i nie włożę ręki mojej
do boku Jego, nie uwierzę. A po ośmiu dniach, kiedy uczniowie
Jego byli znowu wewnątrz /domu/ i Tomasz z nimi, Jezus przyszedł mimo drzwi zamkniętych, stanął pośrodku i rzekł: Pokój
wam! Następnie rzekł do Tomasza: Podnieś tutaj swój palec i
zobacz moje ręce. Podnieś rękę i włóż /ją/ do mego boku, i nie
bądź niedowiarkiem, lecz wierzącym. Tomasz Mu odpowiedział:
Pan mój i Bóg mój! Powiedział mu Jezus: Uwierzyłeś dlatego,
ponieważ Mnie ujrzałeś? Błogosławieni, którzy nie widzieli, a
uwierzyli. I wiele innych znaków, których nie zapisano w tej
książce, uczynił Jezus wobec uczniów. Te zaś zapisano, abyście wierzyli, że Jezus jest Mesjaszem, Synem Bożym, i abyście
wierząc mieli życie w imię Jego.

Beatyfikacja Ojca Świętego Jana Pawła II
1 maja 2011 r.,
w Niedzielę Bożego Miłosierdzia
Na naszych oczach spełnia się wołanie ludu Bożego: "Santo subito" Święty natychmiast. Ku
radości świata, a zwłaszcza nas, Polaków, umiłowany Ojciec Święty Jan
Paweł II 1 maja br. zostanie w Rzymie ogłoszony
błogosławionym! Jest to data niezwykle wymowna, gdyż
w tym dniu obchodzić będziemy Święto Miłosierdzia Bożego. Właśnie w wigilię tego święta, 2 kwietnia 2005 r.,
Papież Polak odszedł do Domu Ojca. Czymś nadzwyczajnym jest fakt, że jeszcze przed beatyfikacją Jana Pawła II
Kongregacja Kultu Bożego i Dyscypliny Sakramentów
opublikowała dekret dotyczący kultu liturgicznego sprawowanego ku czci bł. Jana Pawła II, Papieża. Zawiera on
decyzję, że obowiązkowe wspomnienie liturgiczne błogosławionego Papieża Polaka diecezja rzymska oraz diecezje
polskie obchodzić będą 22 października. Jednak, co bardzo ważne, dziękczynienie za jego beatyfikację będzie
mogło być celebrowane w całym Kościele powszechnym.

Udziela się odpustu zupełnego na zwykłych warunkach (spowiedź sakramentalna, komunia eucharystyczna, modlitwa w intencjach papieskich) wiernemu, który w II Niedzielę Wielkanocną, czyli Miłosierdzia Bożego, w jakimkolwiek
kościele lub kaplicy, z sercem całkowicie wolnym od wszelkiego przywiązania do jakiegokolwiek grzechu, choćby powszedniego, weźmie
udział w pobożnych praktykach spełnianych ku

Tą niedzielą kończymy oktawę Wielkanocy. Jest to doskonała okazja by wszystkim, którzy zaangażowani byli w przygotowanie oraz dekorowanie naszej świątyni na Święta Wielkanocne, złożyć z serca płynące „Bóg zapłać”. Bardzo serdecznie dziękujemy tym, którzy uczestniczyli w liturgii Triduum Paschalnego i Świąt Zmartwychwstania Pańskiego.
Niech Chrystus Zmartwychwstały wynagrodzi was za dane
świadectwo wiary oraz za waszą życzliwość względem nas
duszpasterzy. Serdecznie dziękujemy za ofiary złożone w
Niedzielę Zmartwychwstania.
Tradycyjnie już straż przy grobie pańskim w Wielki Piątek
trzymali „górale” w strojach ludowych. Bardzo serdecznie
dziękujemy za ich poświęcenie oraz wysiłek. Jednocześnie
gorąco zapraszamy do uczestnictwa we wszystkich uroczystościach, które odbywają się w naszym kościele. Niech
podtrzymywanie pięknych polskich tradycji przyczynia się
