Dear Ladies and Gentlemen, XIII International Scientific Conference Computer Aided Engineering is the consecutive meeting of the world’s class scientists. XIII edition is the evidence of the success of previous editions and its big interest. Great experience gained in previous years led to the new approach to the conference form. This year edition characterizes with even more stronger research and industry cooperation. Presence of the both groups will give in a consequence network which will build future innovation, the environment where researchers deliver solutions to the business. The motto of the conference is the development of the innovation oriented toward the knowledge based industry. The main topics presented on the conference will cover belt conveyors transport, surface mining machinery and equipment, vehicles and earth moving machinery in transport systems. Moreover, presented topics will cover cryogenics with which great international research laboratories are related. We strongly believe that cutting edge, innovative research oriented to the industry application is the fundament for building of Polish “Silicon Valley”. The conference is the next step in achieving that goal. During XIII edition you will have opportunity to hear lectures of world’s class scientists, e.g. Professor Wiesław Nowiński. We also believe that Polish mining industry can lead Poland to be the world’s main player in excavation of lignite and copper. To achieve that goal, Polish mines require high-tech modernization and innovative solutions. Modern mining systems will make Poland important player in world’s raw materials stock. The conference is organized to fill the gap between science and industry. We believe that as aconsequence more innovative solutions will find application in Polish mines and researchers obtain funding for next investigations. The XIII International Scientific Conference Computer Aided Engineering is the opportunity to hear researchers from around the world and to create strong science-business network.
