Borecka Scope and Content of Collection Consists of 31,175 registration cards of Jewish survivors in Warsaw after the war. The cards contain full name, date of birth, parents’ names, mother’s maiden name, pre‐1939 address, places of residence during the war, postwar name changes, occupation, registration date, and address. Some include source of livelihood. Only15,270 survivors listed a Warsaw address. System of Arrangement The system of arrangement of the source repository has been preserved on the digital files. The registration cards are organized alphabetically by the surname of survivor. Digital files also are organized in alphabetical order by survivor names.
