Jakub Chilczuk (1981)
He was born in Siedlce, Poland. Graduated from University of Warsaw (Master’s
Degree), The Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw (Bachelor’s Degree)
and University of North Florida (undergraduate).
He has nearly 10 years of experience working in post-production. First as a
postproduction supervisor at the postproduction facility The Chimney Pot (Warsaw,
Poland) then as a free-lance postproduction supervisor and postproduction and
production manager. He has worked on hundreds of commercials and, among others,
such film projects as: “Kochankowie z Marony” dir. Izabella Cywińska (2005), “Your
name is Justine” dir. France de Pena (2005), “Chaos” dir. Xawery Żuławski (2006),
“Na południe od granicy” dir. Łukasz Barczyk (2006), “12 Ton” dir. Michał Rogalski
(2008), „Unmoved mover” dir. Łukasz Barczyk (2008), „War Games” dir. Dariusz
Jabłoński (2009), „8 stories that haven’t changed the world” dir. Ivo Krankowski
(2009), “Essential Killing” dir. Jerzy Skolimowski (2010), “The Lake” dir. Jacek
Bławut (2011).
In 2009 together with Małgorzata Sandecka started a production company – Neseser.

Neseser is a young Polish production company, created by film professionals
experienced in hands-on film production, film promotion and aware of both – local
and worldwide standards. Neseser offers production and co-production possibilities
as well as highest quality production and postproduction management and services.
Although Neseser is happy to act as executive producer and postproduction
supervisor, our major aim is to develop original ideas and create films with both
commercial and artistic potential.
Our work so far includes producing “Gross National Happiness” dir. Natalie
Wollmann, “Alter Games” dir. Tomek Suwalski and several projects in development
and pre-production.
