Technical specification of the Borygo Runway KF product
Borygo Runway KF is a fluid on the basis of a 50% solution of potassium formate for de-icing
runways, taxiways and the concrete surfaces of airports. This fluid is a colourless and clear liquid with
a specific smell. The product contains corrosion inhibitors protecting elements made out of metals and
used alloys in the aircraft industry. It doesn't contain glycols, urea, triazole, nitrates and surfactants
based on alkylphenols. It is safe for the natural environment. Borygo Runway KF is meeting
requirements of the AMS 1435C norm.
