Polska jest jedynym krajem w Unii Europejskiej który zanotował wzrost gospodarczy w
2010 roku. podczas gdy inne kraje zmagały się z kryzysem. Również w 2010, Polska
znalazła się w czołówce krajów o najwyższym potencjale inwestycyjnym. Z Afryką od
dawna łączą Polskę więzy partnerstwa i współpracy - której widocznym rezultatem jest
obecność dwóch posłów, rodem z tego kontynentu w naszym parlamencie.
Nasze miasto Łódź, jest najbardziej znanym polskim miastem w Afryce. Tutaj,
poprzez Studium Języka Polskiego wiodły drogi wszystkich studiujących młodych ludzi z
Afryki. Tutaj też, Regionalna Izba Gospodarcza - Łódź we współpracy z Instytutem
Afrykańskim oraz Polską Agencją Informacji i Inwestycji Zagranicznych i pod patronatem
Zespołu d/s. Afryki Parlamentu Polskiego organizuje pierwszy kongres partnerstwa i
współpracy polsko-afrykańskiej POLANDAFRICA - 2013, który odbędzie się w dniach 2627 listopada 2013 roku. W dniach tych, zapraszamy do Łodzi wszystkich
zainteresowanych. Dostrzegamy w krajach kontynentu afrykańskiego silnego partnera, z
którym chcemy wzmocnić wzajemne relacje i wierzymy, że udział w kongresie przyniesie
wszystkim w nią zaangażowanym realne korzyści.
Kongres otworzy sesja plenarna pt. "Polska - Afryka, perspektywy partnerskiej
współpracy", w której udział wezmą przedstawiciele rządu RP, ambasadorzy państw
afrykańskich, lokalnych władz samorządowych oraz organizacji gospodarczych i
przedsiębiorców z Afryki i Polski. Po jej zakończeniu, w drugiej części dnia odbędą się
następujące sesje tematyczne:

Geoinżynieria, górnictwo, energetyka i ekologia
Przemysł obronny
Inwestycje, w tym infrastruktura i budownictwo
Informatyka i jej zastosowania w nowoczesnej gospodarce
Rolnictwo i przemysł spożywczy
Ochrona zdrowia, przemysł farmaceutyczny i medyczny
Nauka i edukacja
Sesje te będą kontynuowane w drugim dniu kongresu wraz z równolegle prowadzonymi
rozmowami B2B pomiędzy zainteresowanymi stronami.
Sesja zamykająca będzie podsumowaniem Kongresu i czasem na wyciągnięcie wniosków.
Wierzymy, że Kongres nie jest wydarzeniem jednorazowym, lecz będzie miał

Poland was the only country in the European Union to experience positive economic
growth in 2010. Also in 2010, Poland was ranked among top potential investment
destinations while other countries in the EU were struggling with crisis. Over the years,
we have established close ties of partnership and cooperation between Africa and Poland.
The effect of this continuous friendship is the presence of two Members of Parliament of
African descent.
Our city of Łódź is the most famous Polish city in Africa. The paths of most of the
young African people coming to Poland are leading through a famous School of Polish for
Foreigners at the University of Łódź. It is here, in the city of Łódź, where the Central
Poland Chamber of Commerce , RIG-Łódź, together with The Polish-African Institute and
Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency are organizing the first Congress of
partnership and Polish-African cooperation POLANDAFRICA 2013 under the patronage of
The Parliamentary Team on Africa, which is due to take place between the 26-27th of
November, 2013. We would like to invite to Łódź all those who are interested in the
event. We see the countries of the African continent as strong business partners with
whom we would like to strengthen bonds of bilateral relations. We believe that all those
involved will find this cooperation profitable.
The Congress will open with a plenary session: “Poland-Africa, perspectives of
bilateral cooperation” featuring the representatives of the Polish Government, the
Ambassadors of African countries, the representatives of local self-governing bodies,
economic organizations and entrepreneurs from Africa and Poland. On the second day of
the Congress, there will be the following thematic sessions:

Geo-engineering, energy and ecology

Defense industry

Investments, including infrastructure and construction industries

Information technology and its application in modern economy

Food and agriculture industry

Health protection, pharmaceutical and medical industries

Science and education
The above thematic sessions will be continued with bilateral B2B talks between the
interested parties. A final session will be the summary of the Congress and the time to
draw conclusions.
We believe that the Congress is not a one time event, but that it will have long-lasting
effects for Polish and African businesses. The catalogue “Poland Africa- Business
Partnership 2013” will let Polish and African entrepreneurs interested in strengthening
bilateral business cooperation present their offers.
