Please be informed that following changes were implemented with respect to CitiDirect® Online Banking
system:
a) new way of login
b) new look of CitiDirect Menu
Login
Current login address:
https://europe.citidirect-eb.citicorp.com
to be replaced soon by the following new login address:
https://portal.citidirect.com
Below screen represents new login page:
In the Login Method field please
select Challenge Response.
Language selection.
In the Login ID field please input
the serial number of Your
SafeWord card. Then click
Continue.
PLEASE NOTE:
In the Challenge field there will
appear an eight digit code ,
instead of a nine digit code
which was visible previously.
After turning on your
SafeWord card and entering
PIN, in the first place you have
to enter the digit 9 and only
then the code visible on the
login page should be typed to
your SafeWord card.

Generated dynamic password should be
provided in the Response field. After you
have typed the password click on LOGIN.

After having logged in, you will see CitiDirect BE portal window. In order to go to CitiDirect Online Banking
application please click on ‘CitiDirect Services’ in the upper menu, or use one of the shortcuts visible in the
widget ‘CitiDirect Shortcuts’.

can customize this list by clicking the icon
in the right hand corner of the ‘CitiDirect
Shortcuts’ widget, within the option

Below image presents a comparison between the current and new look of the Menu in CitiDirect system.

horizontal Menu. The
change scope is only with
respect to the Menu design
and grouping of functions.
The way all available till now CitiDirect functions, payment instructions forms and reports look like
remains the same.
