The meeting with the forest ranger

On 6th October 2011 a group of students of our center with housemasters: Edyta Bielka, Justyna P³aza and Honorata
Krawczyk went on a trip to the forest in Ostrowiec ¦w. The aim of the trip was promoting ecological attitude among
students and deriving satisfaction from nature. You are all very welcome to visit our Photo Gallery
The walk in the forest took place together with the forest ranger who led us an ecological path and talked about
interesting and unknown facts connected with the existence of the forests. The students had an opportunity to talk with
the forest ranger who answered all of the questions. The bonfire was an excellent occasion to conversation. This kind of
spending free time was to students’ liking which encourages us to plan the next trips.This is the report of our
student, Micha³ Góra:“On 6th October 2011 at 9 o’clock we went with Mrs Honorata Krawczyk , Edyta Bielka
and Justyna P³aza in the direction of Gutwin to the Forestry “Zoo”. The forest ranger welcomed us and said
what we were going to do today. At the beginning we went for a walk through the forest path and the forest ranger talked
about forest stations. Near each station there were noticeboards which informed us about different animals and plants
found in the forest. During the hike, the forest ranger talked about his work and what he had to do to fulfill it. At the end,
we roasted sausages and said goodbye to the forest ranger. After that we came back to our centre.” Translated
