Course objective The main objective of this course is to give students experience in contract formulation, transaction documentation, Incoterms, international insurance and other issues relevant to international trade operations. B. Course syllabus The course concerns international business transactions, by which we mean business transactions that are international in their character. Therefore, the course covers concepts that are important to future managers active in international trade operations. All of the relevant issues are thoroughly explained, including documentation, terms of payment, terms of trade, international insurance, customs clearance. C. Educational outcome Knowledge During the course student gets knowledge about legal framework of international business transactions and the procedures of their realization. He should understand the mechanism of formal markets and be able to understand the interdependence between contract clauses and enterprise strategy. Skills Student should know how to formulate a contract, complete international transaction?s documentation, have ability to look for information about international markets and trade partners. Social competencies Student should be able to use his knowledge from other subjects and have the need to update it continuously even after finishing his formal studies. D.
