Instytut Pedagogiki Uniwersytet Wrocławski Warsztaty 20 maja 2015 Kilka myśli o szkoleniu doradców: dialogi i narracje A reflection for training counselors: dialogues and narratives Maria Eduarda Duarte Wydział Psychologii Universytet Lizboński Podejście do szkolenia doradców kariery z punktu widzenia samokonstruowania wpisuje się w proces konstruowania życia i samokonstruowania The approach to career counselor training from a self-construction perspective is integrated into the life-design, and self-construction process • Life-designing model for career intervention endorses presuppositions about people and their work lives: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. Contextual possibilities Dynamic processes Non-linear progression Multiple perspectives Personal patterns • Model konstruowania życia w poradnictwie kariery opiera się na następujących założeniach dotyczących ludzi i ich życia zawodowego: 1. Skontekstualizowane możliwości 2. Dynamiczne procesy 3. Nielinearny postęp 4. Wielorakie perspektywy 5. Wzory osobowe Rozważania na temat szkolenia doradców kariery (w powiązaniu z modelem konstruowania życia w poradnictwie kariery) Considerations on the training of career counselors (using life-designing model for career intervention) Four reflections: Cztery refleksje: 1. Critique and criticism (a 1. Krytyka a krytycyzm (inny different way of approaching sposób podejścia do narrativity) narracyjności) 2. Training as a journey (attribute an active and dynamic meaning to the process of life construction) 1. Kształcenie jako podróż (aktywne i dynamiczne znaczenie procesów konstruowania życia) 3. Identity-related 2. Powiązanie z tożsamością 4. The challenge of one’s looking at oneself 3. Wyzwanie spojrzenia na siebie samego Krytyka i krytycyzm Critique and Criticism Criticism: a philosophical position, of principle, and not dependent on the person, or, on sensitive experience and the limits it imposes on knowledge Critique: a voluntary act belonging to the sphere of individual skill, an activity of reasoning •Thus, the main aim of critique is to encourage discussion and comment, on the part of the individual Krytycyzm: stanowisko filozoficzne zakorzenione w zasadzie i niezależne od osoby lub doświadczenia zmysłowego oraz ograniczeń, które narzuca ono wiedzy Krytyka: akt woli przynależny sferze umiejętności jednostki, działanie jednostkowego rozumu • Głównym celem krytyki jest pobudzenie jednostki do dyskusji i przedstawienia własnych poglądów …Krytyka i krytycyzm Actual notion of critique: think the same things because we are used to them (influence of education and the society that models it, and by relating information in a particular way). The difficult task: it is change! And changing means dismantling in order to re-construct Faktyczna kwestia krytyki: myślimy to samo, gdyż jesteśmy do tego przyzwyczajeni (wpływ edukacji i kształtującego ją społeczeństwa, łączenie ze sobą informacji w pewien konkretny sposób). Trudne zadanie: Zmiana! A zmiana oznacza demontaż w celu przebudowy Without the art of critique, information is an unproductive weight. Without a selfconstruction process, Training may run the risk of becoming a summation of stereotypes Bez sztuki krytycznej informacja jest nieproduktywnym ciężarem. Bez procesu samo-konstruowania szkolenie może okazać się jedynie kumulacją stereotypów Framework of interventions • Developmental theories – A set of process to anticipate decisions • The approach of constructivism – The co-construction as a source of satisfaction Modele działań • Teorie rozwojowe – Zbiór procesów antycypowania decyzji • Podejście konstruktywistyczne – Współ-konstruowanie jako źródło satysfakcji Przezwyciężyć rozłam… Surpass the gap… WOLA: zdolność nieprzymuszonego podejmowania WILL: ability to freely maintain a continued and trwałego i uporczywego wysiłku aż do osiągnięcia persistent effort until previously established objectives are attained. It is about intelligently directed motivation… more a process wyznaczonych wcześniej celów. Chodzi tu o inteligentnie ukierunkowaną motywację… proces than a concept raczej niż koncepcja By rejecting the role of passive agent , the individual conscious of his ETHOS is the agent of the destiny, interprets intellectually (LOGOS) and constructs the path to be taken (PATHOS) Odrzuciwszy rolę biernego czynnika, jednostka świadoma swego ETOSU staje się siłą sprawczą losu, podejmuje rozumową interpretację (LOGOS) i konstruuje ścieżkę, którą należy podążyć (PATOS) Training in the approach of critique implies (a) identifying the narrative and reviewing it; (b) defining it through the information that is individually processed; (c) naming the context. Szkolenie w podejściu stawiającym na krytykę pociąga za sobą: (a) identyfikację narracji i poddanie jej oglądowi; (b) zdefiniowanie jej przez pryzmat indywidualnie interpretowanych informacji; (c) nazwanie kontekstu. An attentive look at each individual Uważne spojrzenie na każdą jednostkę Podróż A Journey Deciphering the language of myths and archetypes Regarding failure and frustration as necessary and inevitable To identify and understand the reasons that have shaped the state in which the world currently finds itself, including those resulting from cultural models and which are, by nature, shapers of personality and knowledge conditioners Odkodowywanie języka mitów i archetypów Uznanie niepowodzenia i frustracji za nieuniknione i niezbędne Ustalenie i zrozumienie przyczyn, które ukształtowały obecną kondycję świata, w tym te, które płyną z modeli kulturowych i, z natury, formują osobowość oraz warunkują wiedzę A/ Co-construction perspective integrated into the paradigm of LD A/ Perspektywa współkonstruowania wpisana w paradygmat Konstruowania Życia Reflection on environment Namysł nad otoczeniem jaźnią Receptivity to feedback Otwartość zwrotną informację Imagination of possible selves Wyobrażenie sobie możliwych „ja” the self and na i The search for answers: W poszukiwaniu odpowiedzi: (1) (1) czy doradca ma wystarczającą siłę wewnętrzną i strategię, aby powiązać tradycję z teraźniejszością, zdemontować odziedziczony model i poradzić sobie z nieoczekiwanymi sytuacjami?; (2) czy doradca umie stanąć twarzą w twarz ze swą własną samotnością; (3) co zrobił, aby przemyśleć i umocnić swój logos?; (4) jak można wzmocnić poczucie własnego ja?; (5) (5) jak można pogodzić potrzebę szybkiej reakcji z czasochłonością refleksji, oba elementy warunkowane przez patos? (2) (3) (4) (5) does the counselor have inner strength and strategy to articulate tradition with contemporary times, to dismantle the inherited model and deal with unexpected situations?; can the counselor face his own loneliness; what effort has been made to think through and affirm his logos?; how can the sense of self be strengthened?; what is the counterbalance between the need to respond quickly and the time required for reflection, both conditioned by the pathos? It is fundamental to transform the idea into reality, to transform the concept into a real object, which is done by the individual, as the construction instrument. In a work relationship what counts are the life stories, not the concepts Kluczowym jest, aby jednostka przekształciła ideę w rzeczywistość, a koncepcję w realny obiekt, zyskując przez to narzędzie przydatne w procesie konstrukcji. W relacji roboczej liczą się historie życia, a nie koncepcje Maksymalne korzystanie z ludzkiego doświadczenia Making the most of human experience An inter-dependent relationship is created in which nothing that is perceptible which happens to one of the parties remains indifferent to the other Identity: a process of social construction which emerges from a molded continuum, and follows a new direction as other constructions are being edified. How is it possible to think of training someone in accordance with a predefined model which undermines one’s characteristics and personal skills? • Transform the idea into reality • Przekształcanie idei w rzeczywistość Motivation- action Life stories, not the concepts Motywacja - działanie Historie życia, a nie koncepcje Condition of an active element within the historic chain… feed Projecting to the future • What makes counseling real? • Involvement • Personal choice Aktywny element w historycznym łańcuchu Sięgającym w przyszłość • Co sprawia, że poradnictwo staje się prawdziwe? • Zaangażowanie • Osobisty wybór …Maksymalne korzystanie z ludzkiego doświadczenia …Making the most of human experience People orient their behavior Ludzie nadają swemu zachowaniu kierunek poprzez poglądy, zasady i wartości, które przekazywane są w języku Beliefs are a creation of ethos Poglądy to wytwory etosu, a każdy z nas żyje wśród innych komunikując im jego znaczenie through their beliefs, principles and values, and transmit them through language and each one of us lives among others by communicating to them what it is The sense of training is also the sense of unmolding the actual I: we see others according to ourselves and not as they are. Important: be quiet and listen. Create the conditions so that the client may affirm the specificities, and thus contribute to the construction of the collective Kształcenie polega również na odkształcaniu istniejącego ja: widzimy innych przez pryzmat nas samych, a nie takimi, jakimi naprawdę są. Ważne: zachować milczenie i słuchać. Stwarzać warunki, w których klient może zademonstrować swą unikalność, a w ten sposób przyczynić się do konstruowania zbiorowości • • Process of counseling (LD perspectives) Individuals are people that construct their selves of how they perceive others reacting to them, and these “others” are not separate and out there Inter-dependent relationship The importance of identity The integration of the personality • Adaptability • Life themes • • • • • • • • • • Proces doradczy (perspektywy Konstruowania Życia) Jednostki to ludzie, którzy konstruują swe własne ja na podstawie tego, jak postrzegają reakcje innych na siebie samych, przy czym owi „inni” nie są oddzieleni czy odlegli Relacja współzależności Istotność tożsamości Integracja osobowości umiejętności dostosowania się tematów życiowych Ogląd samego siebie Looking at ourselves The history of Joseph • The arguments: – The different man, enmeshed in the drama of his individuality – The negative reactionfrom the non-differentiated individuals – The knowledge of the differentiated individual – The solidarity – A call to memory Historia Józefa • Argumenty: – Odmienny człowiek wplątany w dramat swej indywidualności – Negatywna reakcja ze strony niewyróżniających się jednostek – Wiedza wyróżniającej się jednostki – Solidarność – Odwołanie się do pamięci It is the integration of three broad perspectives: Integracja trzech szerokich perspektyw : (1)the personality in relation to the individual differences of the traits; (2) the assembling of structures to promote adaptability (development stems from adaptation to the context); (3) life themes to go in search of motivation (1) osobowość w powiązaniu z indywidualnym zróżnicowaniem cech; (2) łączenie struktur w celu zbudowania umiejętności adaptacyjnych (rozwój płynie z przystosowania się do kontekstu); (3) Tematy życia, aby udać się na poszukiwanie motywacji • • The big theoretical question… Individual Self-Construction – What individual need in these uncertain times? • To adapt and try not to lose the sense of identity Is the society prepared to cope with the worker as an author of his/her own life? • • Istotne pytanie teoretyczne… Samo-konstruowanie jednostki – Czego potrzeba jednostce w tych niepewnych czasach? • Dostosować się ale nie utracić poczucia tożsamości Czy społeczeństwo przygotowane jest na pracownika, który jednocześnie jest autorem swojego życia?
