Projekt dotyczy klasyki literatury amerykanskiej. S³ynna juz powie¶æ Christophera Poalini "Eragon uwa¿ana za przyk³ad
tzw. "Great American Novel", stanowia³ podstawê projektu z literatury fantasy. Powie¶æ napisana jest bogatym i
nowoczesnym jêzykiem. I w odró¿nieniu od tradycyjnych podrêczników, nauka oparta na ksi±¿ce daje uczniom
bezpo¶redni kontakt z naturalnym jêzykiem.
Co wiêcej, wci±gaj±ca tre¶æ powie¶ci sprawia, ¿e ka¿da lekcja stanowi³a now± przygod± i czyst± przyjemno¶æ. W
odró¿nieniu od typowej nauki jêzyka, nauka jêzyka oparta na czytaniu powie¶ci nie jest pustym zapamiêtywaniem s³ów
i wyra¿eñ, ale skuteczn± metod± powtarzania s³ownictwa oraz struktur gramatycznych w kontek¶cie, a ju¿ samo
czytanie to ¶wietna metoda rozwijania umiejêtno¶ci jêzykowych.
Podstawowe zalety projektu literackiego to:
- po³±czenie po¿ytecznego z przyjemnym, czyli nauka jêzyka angielskiego przy okazji czytania ksi±¿ki w oryginale,
- przedstawienie zagadnieñ gramatycznych, które sprawiaj± ucz±cym siê jêzyka angielskiego najwiêksze k³opoty
(ró¿nice znaczeniowe, niuanse gramatyczne, pu³apki jêzykowe w kontekscie.
- poznawanie i utrwalanie nowych s³ów poprzez czytanie i operowanie s³ownictwem z tekstu
- zagadnienia kulturowe, których znajomo¶æ przyczyni siê do lepszego zrozumienia utworu oraz do pog³êbienia wiedzy
literackiej z gatunku fantastyki,
Projekt pozwoli³ uczniom rozwin±c nie tylko umiejêtno¶ci czysto jêzykowych, ale rownie¿ pozwoli³ wyj¶c ponad
program gdy¿ zawiera³ elementy wiedzy z gatunków literackich, dyskusje na temat pisania recenzji, elementy tworzenia
sprawozdañ literackich jak sam± krytykê literack±. W oparciu o projekt powsta³y ciekawe teksty opiniotwórcze autorstwa

If you like fantasy, The book Eragon is just for you. It is written by Christopher Poallini. He is a fifteen years old boy witch
never went to school. The book Eragon is about a poor farm boy who finds an egg while hunting. He thinks its a stone
but soon a dragon hatches. He decides to secretly raise the dragon. he names it Saphira. Then his adventure began! His
only family (uncle) gets killed by the evil forces trying to get back the dragon wile its still small and can be brainwashed
onto the dark side of the Emperor. Then Eragon sets out into the world to find revenge. I really recommend this book to
the fans of fantasy because its full of magic, dragons, spells, and big battles. There are also continuations of Eragon:
Eldest and Brisingr.
Here are some similarities to the book for new fantasy fans that wont to read some more of good fantasy: lord of the rings
and hobbit.

Eragon might seems regular at first. Hes a poor farm boy living off the land with his cousin, Roran, and his uncle, Garrow.
