Author Guidelines
English version
Please submit the manuscript as a single file formatted in accordance with the following
guidelines:
Basic requirements
The file must be in the MS Word (doc, docx) or OpenOffice Writer (odt) format
The length of the article must not exceed 40,000 characters (including spaces and
punctuation); in very exceptional cases, longer articles will be allowed, if accepted by the
board of editors
All fonts must be embedded in the document
In the case of graphics and illustrations, the source of the material must be provided; the
form of the acknowledgement must be agreed with the owner of the material
The compensation to the author for reproducing their work are the sole responsibility of
the Author and the Institution they are affiliated with
The file size must be kept under 50 MB

Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt, justified
Line spacing: 1,5
Section titles: boldface, centred
Page margins: left, right and upper 2.5 cm; bottom 3.5 cm
Footnotes: continuous numbering, 10 pt font
Page numbering: inside the footer, centred

Running head: max. 8 words
The first page of the manuscript must contain:
the title in English and in the original language (maximum 255 characters for both
language version)
abstract in English and, if the author is Polish, an abstract in Polish. Authors of texts
in languages different than Polish are welcome to include an abstract in Polish,
although this is not obligatory; the journal can translate the abstract on request of the
author. The abstract must not exceed 600 words as well as contain any in-text
citations
keywords in English (maximum of 8)
Do not include any information identifying author(s), e.g. names, affiliations, in the
manuscript file
Tables and graphics must be inserted in the manuscript file; the resolution for the
graphics must be 300 ppi
Titles of books in the running text must be italicised, whereas titles of journals must be
placed in quotation marks
Quotations and citations
Quotations must be put in quotation marks; should a quotation exceed 40 words, it must
be included in a separate paragraph
Citations must adhere to the APA format, e.g. (Wilson, 1987, p. 22); more information on
APA citation style: http://www.apastyle.org/learn/tutorials/basics-tutorial.aspx
If the article is submitted in Polish, the author must use Polish abbreviations:

When you are using in-text citations, you must format them accordingly, e.g. (Wilson,
1943), (Wilson, 1999a, 1999b), (Wilson, 1943; Mańkowski, 1889), (Wilson, Mańkowski
2000)
If a publication that you are citing was written by 3, 4 or 5 authors, you must give the
surnames of all authors in the first citation, e.g. (Wilson, Modrzewski, Mańkowski,
Majewski, Marek, 1978); every other citation in the text referring to this book must be
formatted as follows: (Wilson et. al.)
If a publication that you are citing was written by 6+ writers, the citation must look as
follows: (Wilson, et. al.)
If there are multiple authors under the same surname, the citation must include the initial
of their first name, e.g. (Wilson, J., 1999; Wilson, K., 1998)
Bibliography
The sources in the bibliography must be listed in alphabetical order
Include digital object identifier (DOI) at the end of every bibliographic item that has DOI
assigned (DOIs can be found at http://www.crossref.org/guestquery/)
The bibliography must adhere to the APA style:

Manuskrypty prosimy przesyłać jako jeden plik, zgodnie z następującymi zasadami:
Wymagania ogólne

Maksymalna objętość tekstu: 1 arkusz wydawniczy (40 000 znaków łącznie ze spacjami);
w szczególnych przypadkach, po akceptacji przez redakcję czasopisma, dopuszczalna
jest większa objętość
Wymagane jest osadzenie fontów w dokumencie
W przypadku ilustracji i wszelkiego typu materiału graficznego konieczne jest podanie
źródła – w brzmieniu uzgodnionym z właścicielem ilustracji
Sprawy finansowe związane z prawem do reprodukcji ilustracji i materiału graficznego
pozostają w gestii autora i placówki naukowej, którą reprezentują

Tytuły rozdziałów i podrozdziałów: pogrubione, wyśrodkowane
Marginesy: lewy, prawy i górny 2,5 cm, dolny 3,5 cm
Numeracja wierszy: włączona (ciągła)
Numeracja stron: wyśrodkowana, umieszczona w stopce
Przypisy dolne: ciągłe, czcionka 10 pt
Tekst żywej paginy – maksymalnie 8 słów
Na pierwszej stronie prosimy umieścić:
tytuł pracy w języku angielskim oraz oryginału (w sumie do 255 znaków)
streszczenie w języku angielskim oraz, w przypadku autorów tekstów
polskojęzycznych, polskim (autorzy tekstów w języku innym niż polski umieszczają
abstrakt w języku polskim dobrowolnie; w razie potrzeby tłumaczenie zostanie
wykonane przez redakcję) – razem maks. 600 słów; nie należy zamieszczać cytowań
w abstrakcie
zwroty kluczowe w języku angielskim (maksymalnie 8 słów)
W manuskrypcie nie należy umieszczać żadnych danych identyfikujących autora
(autorów), takich jak imię, nazwisko, afiliacja – informacje te należy wprowadzić w
systemie
Tabele i grafikę (o rozdzielczości 300 ppi) należy zamieszczać w pliku manuskryptu
Tytuły książek w tekście wyróżniamy kursywą, tytuły czasopism w cudzysłowie
Cytaty
Cytaty w tekście wyróżnione są cudzysłowem; cytaty liczące ponad 40 słów tworzą
oddzielny akapit; cytaty oznaczamy nawiasem z oznaczeniem miejsca: (Wilson, 1987, s.

Przywołując literaturę w tekście, stosujemy odpowiednie warianty: (Wilson, 1943),

Przy liczbie autorów od 3 do 5 za pierwszym razem wymieniamy wszystkich (Wilson,
Modrzewski, Mańkowski, Majewski, Marek, 1978), następnym razem (Wilson i in.)
Przy pracy mającej 6 i więcej autorów stosujemy zapis (Wilson i in., 1999)

Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's
compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that
do not adhere to these guidelines.
1. The work has not been published in the same form or submitted in the same form to

the final version of the paper and have agreed to its submission for publication (or an
explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor/Publisher section upon
submission of the article).

The Authors, through granting the Institute (the publisher of the journal) the right to publish
the Work, accept the terms and conditions of the CC BY 3.0 PL license
(http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/); which allows the Institute to reproduce,
distribute, publicly perform, create adaptations, and to commercially use the Work, if stated
by the author.
The Authors grant the Institute a non-exclusive license to publish the Work in paper form;
the number of copies shall not exceed 200. The Institute has the sole right to determine all
the technical aspects of the publication, including the price and the form of distribution.
Furthermore, the Authors grant the Institute a non-exclusive license to use the Work in the

Autorzy, udzielając Instytutowi jako wydawcy czasopisma prawa do publikacji utworu,
akceptują warunki licencji CC BY 3.0 PL (http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/), która
pozwala na kopiowanie, rozpowszechnianie, odtwarzanie i wykonywanie utworu, na
tworzenie utworów zależnych, a także na komercyjne użytkowanie utworu pod warunkiem
oznaczenia go w sposób określony przez autora.
Autorzy udzielają Instytutowi licencji niewyłącznej na wydanie utworu w tradycyjnej wersji
papierowej w nakładzie nie większym niż 200 egzemplarzy. Instytut jest wyłącznie
uprawniony do określenia wszelkich technicznych szczegółów wydania utworu, w tym ceny
sprzedaży i sposobu dystrybucji.
Ponadto Autorzy udzielają Instytutowi licencji niewyłącznej na korzystanie z utworu na
następujących polach eksploatacji:
1. wprowadzenie utworu do obrotu i prawa do jego rozpowszechniania w inny sposób
niż poprzez obrót egzemplarzami, wprowadzenie do pamięci komputera,

multimedialnych, w szczególności Internetu i Intranetu, on-line, w ramach komunikacji
na życzenie, w tym również publiczne udostępnianie w taki sposób, aby każdy mógł
mieć do utworu czy jego fragmentu dostęp w miejscu i w czasie przez siebie
wybranym.
