Dear Sirs,
We kindly invite you to take part in the 10th edition of El-TEX
Symposium which this time will be held in November in AmbasadorCentrum Hotel in £ódŸ. Retaining the same subject area of plenary
sessions we would like to draw Participants’ attention to the newest
achievements in high-tech textiles . As before presentations will focus
on current hazards arising from electromagnetic and electrostatic
fields as well as on protection of men and electronic devices against
the effects of these fields and on the role of textiles used for
protecting purposes.
Jubilee edition will be an occasion to present the results of
ENVIROTEX - individual key project coordinated by Textile
Research Institute (IW) - realised within Operational Programme
Innovative Economy and co-financed from the funds of European
Regional Development Fund. ENVIROTEX subject area matches
the thematic scope of El-Tex. The following sessions are planned:
Barrier materials protecting against electromagnetic fields,
Barrier materials protecting against static electricity,
Barrier camouflage materials in the range of VIS, IR and
microwave radiation.
Symposium aim is the survey of scientific and technological
developments and the exchange of experiences between experts
representing different scientific disciplines. It should also provide
an opportunity to present ENVIROTEX results to potential
users/consumers.
