POLICY HOLDER / INSURED
Policy holder – Organizer of the action: Pałac Baborówko Krystyna Święcicka [Horse riding Centre]
Insured until winning bid - Seller
Insured after winning bid - Buyer
SUBJECT OF INSURANCE:
The subject of this agreement is the insurance of horses which are on sales under the auction

"Baborówko Horse Sale Show” on 1 October 2016.
The insurer covers with the insurance protection all animals registered by the Organizer for sale,
the animals have been clinically examined and X-rayed and the results of the examinations have
shown that the animals are healthy and able to do sports.
I Insurance of the auction

Scope of responsibilities
Death or emergency killing as a result of disease or accident (according to Chapter II §2, item
3 OWU [General Terms and Conditions of Insurance] Concordia - horse insurance). The costs
of veterinary care are not insured in the offered form of insurance.

Beginning and end of auction insurance protection
The insurance protection from the risk of death or emergency killing as a result of disease or
accident starts at the moment of registering a horse to the Insurer by the Organizer of the
auction, however the maximum time is 6 weeks before the auction.
The insurance protection finishes at the moment of the winning bid or in case of not selling /
buy-back, after return to the home stable and unloading horses there, however not later
than after 3 days.

Amount of damages
The amount of damages equals 100% of the amount of insurance deducted by the possible
amount of recovered receivables. The person authorized to receive the damages is the owner
of a horse.

II Insurance after the auction

Scope of responsibilities
Death or emergency killing as a result of disease or accident (according to Chapter II §2, item
3 OWU [General Terms and conditions of Insurance] Concordia - horse insurance). The costs
of veterinary care are not insured in the offered form of insurance.
In case of insuring sold horses, the appropriate deductible period for the conditions does not
apply since the moment of granting the winning bid.

Beginning and end of insurance
The period of insurance starts at the moment of getting the winning bid by the buyer (it does
not apply to buy-back) at the auction and finishes 8 weeks later.

Amount of damages
The amount of damages equals 100% of the amount of insurance deducted by the possible
amount of recovered receivables. The person authorized to receive the damages is the owner
of a horse.
SUM INSURED
Before the auction the sum insured amounts to PLN 15,000.00 per one horse. After the auction the
purchase price (the hammer price) is considered the sum insured, however it can be maximum PLN
200,000.00 per one horse.
INSURANCE PREMIUM
The insurance premium before the auction amounts to 1.0% of the sum insured and after the auction
1.2% of the purchase price.
REGISTRATION HORSES FOR INSURANCE
The registration is made by the Organizer at the moment of determining the horses offered for
auctioning. The registration for ‘insurance after the auction’ takes place immediately after announcing
the results of sales. If a buyer has an intention of covering the horse with the insurance protection,
the buyer should express his intention in writing at the moment of signing purchase documents. On
the day of the action, the Organizer reports to the insurer in writing the lists concerning the horses for
sale including unsold horses and sold horses which continue the insurance.
ACCEPTANCE FOR INSURANCE
The acceptance for insurance takes place with the participation of the insurer after assessing the
clinical and X-ray examination and the permission by X-Ray committee. In case of horses which have
previously underwent orthopedic surgery, the deductible period between the surgery and acceptance

for the auctioning is 6 months. There is a possibility of withdrawal from this regulation in individual
cases. The insurance protection does not cover the horses which undergo colic surgery.
CONTINUATION OF INSURANCE
There is a possibility of submitting the inquiry about the continuation of insurance as annual insurance
for all horses offered on auction, after the termination of the auction insurance.
FILING THE INSURANCE CLAIM
The organizer informs the seller and buyer about the necessity of informing the insurer immediately
when a horse gets some severe disease or accident of a horse before possible emergency slaughter.
The losses and disease must be informed to the insurer immediately under the duration of additional
insurance. The recommendations of the insurer shall be adhered to as well as the provisions of OWU
[General Terms and Conditions of Insurance].
RESPONSIBILITY OF POLICY HOLDER
The policy holder shall be obliged to deliver OWU [General Terms and Conditions of Insurance]to
those insured. This obligation should be fulfilled by the policy holder before expressing the consent by
the Insured to conclude the insurance agreement or before expressing by the Insured the consent to
finance the insurance premium if the Policy Holder agreed with the Insured that the premium should
be financed by the Insured. If the insured submits to Concordia Polska TUW such request, OWU
[General Terms and Conditions of Insurance] shall be transferred to the Insured also directly by
Concordia Polska TUW.
The Policy Holder shall be made liable to Concordia Polska TUW for the losses suffered by Concordia
Polska TUW in case the Policy Holder fails to meet the abovementioned obligation of delivering the
OWU [General Terms and Conditions of Insurance] to those Insured – if in case of such failure
Concordia Polska TUW were forced to make a higher payment resulting from the insurance agreement
than the payment which would be made if such failure had not occurred.
