S5 Expressway, Wrocław-Trzebnica segment
Project „Dos Lagos”, the Green City is located 9 km from Trzebnica and 27 km from Wrocław.
In the end of 2017 a new, 19-kilometres long segment of S5 Expressway will connect Wrocław and
Trzebnica, which will enable faster and far more comfortable commute between Wrocław and
“Dos Lagos”. The segment, built by Italian company Astaldi will be an expressway with two lanes
going in each way and emergency lanes, where people will be allowed to drive as fast as 120 km/h.
The construction has begun on 24th of September 2014.
The entire road will have more than 400 kilometres, out of which 98 km has already been built. It
will connect Wrocław with Poznan Agglomeration and Bydgoszcz Agglomeration.
