Opis lektoratu tematycznego:
This conversational English course will attempt to explore American culture by
focusing on its technological developments in warfare, information technology (IT)
and medicine. It will also examine the rich native and immigrant heritage as well as
the prevailing polarities among lifestyles and viewpoints. Each lesson will make use of
a variety of (multimedia) materials and students will be encouraged to contribute
through discussions and debates.
Level B2+; one semester, repeated course.
A pass depends on: attendance, participation, vocabulary quiz, final presentation.
