CONFERENCE TOPICS
Contemporary world requires ecological solutions
of motorization, low energy consumption, safety
and easy exploitation. The role of engineers and
scientists is the realization and managing of the
designing and exploitation processes within that area.
The growing exploitation and ecological demands
set successive challenges for constructors and scientists
in the area of automobiles, powertrains and exploitation.
Particularly essential is finding solutions decreasing
fuel consumption and emission of the exhaust gases
harmful components as well as application of the
alternative powertrains such as hybrid and electric.
The cyclical motorization conference KONMOT
since 1976 is a place of meeting of outstanding scientists
and engineers from country and abroad, raising
contemporary problems of motorization with the
possibility of publishing results on the international
area.
The remaining papers which have received positive
critical reviews will be published as the chapters of
monograph issued by Cracow University of Technology.
There is a possibility of issue of paper in Polish (for
4 points) or English (for 5 points)).
APPLICATION
One can make application for participation in the
conference by sending registration form via e-mail to the
address: [email protected] by 15 March 2016. Together
with the application for participation the title of paper
and its abstract should be given.
The organizer will send authors by e-mail
confirmation of the acceptation of paper by 31 March
2016.
Full text of the paper should be submitted by 30
April 2016. Information about results of the publishing
review and final acceptation of the article we will pass
to authors electronically by 15 July 2016.
PRESENTATION OF PAPERS
CONFERENCE FEE
The conference will take place on 22-23 September
2016 in Cracow at the Mechanical Faculty of Cracow
University of Technology, al. Jana Pawla II 37. Papers
will be presented in three specialized sections: Vehicles
Testing, Combustion Engines and Ecology, Exploitation
and Safety of Vehicles.
The selected papers - exclusively in English - after
receiving positive critical reviews will be published in
the publishing house IOP Conference Series: Materials
Science and Engineering, indexed in the Web Of Science
database. According to the list of scientific journals 2015
of Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education
(MNiSW), the number of points for mentioned above
publication is 15 (publication in peer-reviewed
proceedings of an international conference included in
the Web of Science, referred to § 8 pas.1 point 5 of
government regulation from 13 July 2012 for which the
number of points corresponds to the highest scored
publication in a scientific journal from part B of the list
of Ministry). Abstracts of papers will be additionally
published as the separate volume.
1. The fee varies and amounts:
a) 230 € (984 PLN) for publication of a paper in the
Cracow University of Technology Publishing House
monograph,
b) 290 € (1 230 PLN) for publication of a paper in IOP

Series:

Engineering.
2. In both cases, the registration fee also includes:
 participation in sessions and conference materials,
 meals in the debates breaks (lunch, coffee breaks),
 participation in social events and gala dinner.
3. The fee for each subsequent article and for
publication of the article without participation in the
conference is: 85 € (369 PLN) – publication in Cracow
University of Technology Publishing House
monograph or 145 € (615 PLN) – publication in IOP

4. The fee for an accompanying person, ensuring
participation in social events and gala dinner is 55 €
(246 PLN).
5. The conference fee does not include costs of
accommodation. Participants of the conference make
booking and accommodation costs coverage
individually.
The conference organizers can offer assistance
in accommodation booking at the Hotel "Justyna",
adjacent to the university campus in Czyżyny.
