Die Umgebung von Guben ist durch ausgedehnte Wald- und Heidelandschaften sowie zahlreiche Seen mit ausgezeichneter Wasserqualität
geprägt. Auf der Gubener Seenrundfahrt kann man einige von ihnen besuchen. Der Göhlensee ist ein Gewässer mit Seerosenfeldern und
umfangreichen Schilfrohrbeständen in einer waldigen Talsohle und bietet
mit seiner artenreichen Flora und Fauna gute Voraussetzungen für
Naturbeobachtungen. Der Pinnower See lädt mit seinem klaren Wasser zu
einem Bad im kühlen Nass ein. Der nächste See an der Route ist der
Kleinsee, gelegen inmitten eines ausgedehnten Kiefern-TraubeneichenMischwaldgebietes. Von dort erreicht man – ein Stück lang parallel
zur L 50 – den Großsee. Idyllisch in einem Naturschutzgebiet gelegen ist der
Pastlingsee. Hier findet der interessierte Besucher seltene Pflanzen
wie zum Beispiel den Sonnentau. Der Deulowitzer See, ein beliebter Badesee der Gubener, lädt zum Ruderbootausflug ein. Alle Seen dieser
Rundfahrt bieten passionierten Anglern eine Vielzahl von heimischen
Fischen wie beispielsweise Hecht, Zander oder Aal.

Okolicę Guben cechują rozległe lasy i wrzosowiska oraz liczne jeziora o bardzo dobrej
jakości wody. Podczas gubeńskiej wycieczki wokół jezior można niektóre z nich
zwiedzić. Jezioro Göhlensee jest jeziorem usłanym liliami wodnymi oraz obszernymi trzcinowiskami, położonym w lesistej dolinie i dzięki obfitości flory i fauny
oferuje doskonałe warunki do prowadzenia obserwacji przyrodniczych. Jezioro
Pinnower See zachęca do kąpieli w czystej wodzie. Kolejnym jeziorem na trasie
jest Kleinsee, położone wśród rozległego obszaru leśnego – sosna – dąb bezszypułkowy – las mieszany. Stamtąd, równolegle do drogi L50 – docieramy do jeziora
Großsee. W rezerwacie przyrody idyllicznie położone jest jezioro Pastlingsee. Tutaj
zwiedzający znaleźć może rzadko spotykane rośliny jak np. rosiczkę. Jezioro
Deulowitzer See jest ulubionym kąpieliskiem dla gubeńczyków i zachęca do wycieczek łodzią wiosłową. Wszystkie jeziora na tej trasie oferują aktywnym wędkarzom mnóstwo ryb jak np. szczupaki, sandacze czy węgorze.

Guben Lakes Round Trip
The area around Guben is characterized by wide landscapes with forests and heath as
well as numerous lakes with water of excellent quality. You can visit some of
them on this Guben lake tour. Situated in a valley and surrounded by woods, the lake
Göhlensee has fields of water lily and reed; its rich diversity in flora and fauna
offers good conditions for watching nature. The lake Pinnower See invites you to take
a bath in its clear water. The next lake along this route is Kleinsee with is located
in a wide mixed forest of pine trees and sessile oaks. From there you go - parallel to
road L 50 – to the lake Großsee. The next lake is Pastlingsee in an idyllic setting
in a nature reserve. Here the interested visitor can find rare plants such as the sundew.
The lake Deulowitzer See is a popular bathing lake for the Guben citizens and
invites you also to make a trip in a rowing boat. All lakes along this tour offer ambitious
anglers a variety of local fish such as pike, zander and eel.

Erleben Sie auf der Rundstrecke beeindruckende Landschaften und geschichtsträchtige Orte. In Bomsdorf befindet sich ein Gutshaus
mit Wirtschaftsgebäuden aus dem frühen 19. Jahrhundert. Unter Landschaftsschutz steht der dahinter liegende gepflegte Gutspark mit
seinen Teichen und prächtigem alten Baumbestand. Hier befinden sich
die Grabstätten der letzten Besitzer des Gutes. In der 1730 vergrößerten Kirche befinden sich Teile barocker Innenausstattung. Von hier
aus erreichen Sie das Tal der Dorche. Es zählt zu den beliebtesten Wandergebieten im Naturpark Schlaubetal. Hier befindet sich die
Schwerzkoer Mühle. Das technische Denkmal und jetzige Mühlenmuseum lädt zur Besichtigung und Schauvorführungen ein. Nahe der
Gemeinde Henzendorf wurde ein Park aus Findlingen gestaltet.
Ein Weg der Schriften, germanische Runen, keltische und hethitische
Steinbilder und Skulpturen lassen den Besucher in die Vergangenheit eintauchen. Die Häuser des Dorfes Reicherskreuz wurden aus
Findlingen erbaut. Der Ort steht heute unter Denkmalschutz.
Die Reicherskreuzer Heide, früher Truppenübungsplatz, ist ein 30 km²
großes Naturschutzgebiet. Im Mai laden gelbe Besenginsterblüten
und im September ein Meer von lilafarbenem Heidekraut zum Besuch ein.

Na tej trasie zachęcamy do poznania ciekawych krajobrazów oraz historycznych miejscowości. W Bomsdorf znajduje się dworek z budynkami gospodarczymi z
wczesnych lat XVIX wieku. Dobrze zachowany park dworski ze swoimi stawami oraz
okazałym drzewostanem znajduje się pod ochroną przyrody. Tu znajdują się
groby ostatnich właścicieli dworku. W rozbudowanym w 1730 roku kościele znajdują się barokowe elementy aranżacji wnętrza. Stąd dotrą Państwo do doliny
rzeczki Dorche. Należy ona do popularnych obszarów wędrówkowych w Parku Przyrody
Schlaubetal. Tu znajduje się młyn Schwerzko. Zabytek techniki i aktualnie
muzeum młynarstwa zaprasza do zwiedzania oraz pokazów. W pobliżu gminy Henzendorf
utworzono park z głazów narzutowych. Droga z ornamentami z liternictwa
germańskiego, celtyckie i hetyckie obrazy kamienne oraz rzeźby pozwalają zwiedzającym odbyć podróż w przeszłość. Domy w wiosce Reicherskreuz zbudowano z
głazów narzutowych. Cała miejscowość znajduje się dziś pod ochroną zabytków.
Tereny wrzosowisk w Reicherskreuz, wcześniej poligon wojskowy, to rezerwat
przyrody o powierzchni 30 km². W maju do zwiedzania zapraszają żółte kwiecia
żarnowca miotlastego, a we wrześniu morze fioletowego wrzosu.

Schlaube Valley – Nature and History
Experience impressive landscapes and historical towns and villages along this route.
In Bomsdorf there is a farmhouse with its functional buildings from the early
19th century. The manor park behind that house is well maintained and a protected
landscape, it also comprises lakes and magnificent old trees as well as the
graves of the last owners of this manor. In the church built in 1739 there are parts of
the baroque interiors. From here you would reach the Dorche valley which is
one of the most popular walking areas in the nature park Schlaubetal. Here is the
Schwerzko Mill, it is a technical monument and now a mill museum which
invites the guests for visits and also technical demonstrations. Near the village
Henzendorf, a park with erratic boulders was designed. A path with writings,
Germanic runes, Celtic and Hettite stone images takes the visitor back into the past.
The houses of the village Reicherskreuz were built from natural stones. This
village is a protected historical monument. The area of the Reicherskreuzer Heide
used to be a military area and is not a nature reserve with an area of 30 km².
In May the yellow blossoms of the broom and in September a sea of purple heather
attract the visitors.

Gestartet wird von Gubin aus in Richtung Komorów, einem Dorf das im
13. Jahrhundert entstand. Hier steht eines der Naturdenkmäler des
Gubiner Landes, eine rund 400 Jahre alte Ulme mit einem Umfang von
mehr als 7 Metern. Über Wałowice erreicht man Chlebowo. Interessant ist die Kirche des Ortes. Von hier ist ein Abstecher zur Oder und der
Fähre nach Połęcko möglich. Weiter geht es bis zum Straßendorf Łomy.
Die Tour führt weiter über Żytowań und Budoradz nach Gubin. Dem
Radweg folgend erreicht man in Gubin die Theaterinsel. Ein nachgebildetes Portal des Theaters, die Holzskulptur eines Fisches, für die der
Vettersfelder Goldfund 1882 die Volage gab und die Relikte des CoronaSchröter-Denkmals sind beachtenswert.

Wer Erfrischung sucht, kann auf naturbelassenen Wegen zum ruhig gelegenen Głębno-See abbiegen. Der Ort Kosarzyn ist ein Dorf in der Nähe
der Neiße-Mündung in die Oder im Naturschutzgebiet Krzesin. Hier steht
das Kreuz der Begegnung, aufgestellt als Symbol deutsch-polnischer
Zusammenarbeit. Ein altes Wehr an der Mündung der Łomianka in die Oder
beeindruckt den technisch Interessierten. Der nahe Borek-See lädt mit
Badestrand, Wassersport und gastronomischer Versorgung zur Pause ein.

Wycieczkę rozpoczynamy w Gubinie w kierunku wioski Komorów, która powstała
w XIII wieku. Tutaj stoi jeden z pomników przyrody Ziemi Gubińskiej: 400-letni wiąz
o ponad 7-metrowym obwodzie. Przez Wałowice dojeżdżamy do Chlebowa.
Atrakcją miejscowości jest kościół. Stąd istnieje możliwość obrania trasy w kierunku
Odry w celu odbycia przejażdżki promem do Połęcka. Następnie udajemy się
do wsi Łomy. Kto pragnie orzeźwienia może leśnymi drogami skręcić w stronę położonego na odludziu jeziora Głębno. Miejscowość Kosarzyn, to wioska leżąca w
Krzesińskim Parku Krajobrazowym, nieopodal ujścia Nysy do Odry. Tu znajduje się
tzw. »Krzyż Spotkań« wzniesiony jako symbol współpracy polsko-niemieckiej.
Stary jaz przy ujściu Łomianki do Odry jest ciekawym obiektem dla osób zainteresowanych techniką. Znajdujące się w pobliżu jezioro Borek wraz z kąpieliskiem,
możliwością uprawiania sportów wodnych i zapleczem gastronomicznym zachęca
do zatrzymania się i odpoczynku. Trasa prowadzi następnie przez Żytowań i
Budoradz do Gubina. Jadąc ścieżką rowerową docieramy do Wyspy Teatralnej w
Gubinie. Odtworzony portal wejściowy byłego teatru, rzeźba złotej ryby, części
skarbu znalezionego w 1882 roku w Vettersfelde oraz fragmenty pomnika Corony
Schröter są godne uwagi.

Travelling through the Gubin area
The tour starts in Gubin towards Komorów, a village dating from the 13th century.
Here is one of the natural monuments of the Gubin area, an around 400 year old elm
tree with a circumference of more than 7 metres. Via Wałowice you reach
Chlebowo which has an interesting church. From here it is possible to take a detour
to the Oder river or the ferry to Połęcko. The next village is Łomy with the
houses along one street. Those seeking refreshment can follow natural ways to the
quiet Głębno lake. The village Kosarzyn is located in the nature reserve Krzesin
near the place where the Neiße flows into the Oder river. Here is the Cross of Meeting,
erected as a symbol of German-Polish collaboration. An old weir near the river
Łomianka’s flow into the Oder is rather impressive for technically interested people.
Then the nearby lake Borek with its beach, water sports and catering facilities
invites the guests for a break. The tour goes on via Żytowań and Budoradz to Gubin.
Along the cycle path you reach the theatre island in Gubin. A copy of the theatre
portal, the wooden sculpture of a fish, the original of which was in the Vettersfelder
gold treasure from 1882, and the fragments of the Corona-Schröter Monument
are worth seeing.

Das Dorf Brzozów weist einen Park von 1,5 ha mit Naturdenkmalcharakter
auf. Die Grundmauern des alten Gutshauses und die alten Bäume
erinnern an die Zeiten der Gutsherren. Oberhalb des Dorfes steht eine
Siegessäule, die an den Deutsch-Französischen Krieg 1870/71 erinnert. Im Ort Mielno, rechts abbiegend, fährt man über Strzegów und
Pozna weiter nach Markosice. Im Dorf findet man ein Sühnekreuz.
Die Kirche stammt teilweise aus dem Mittelalter. Der Tour weiter in Richtung
Gubin folgend kommt man in das alte Johanniterdorf Sękowice. Eine
architektonische Besonderheit ist die achteckige Fachwerkkirche aus dem
17. Jahrhundert. Über Gubinek führt der Weg zurück nach Gubin.

Przez Pleśno i Czarnowice, pośród łąk i drzew owocowych dojeżdżamy do Koperna
ze swoim neogotyckim kościołem. Kolejne wioski na trasie to Jazów, Grabice i
Nowa Wioska. W miejscowości Brzozów znajduje się park o powierzchni 1,5 ha posiadający status pomnika przyrody. Pozostałości murów dawnego dworu wraz ze
staymi drzewami stanowią pamiątkę z czasów dziedziców. Ponad wioską wznosi się
kolumna zwycięstwa, która przypomina niemiecko-francuską wojnę w latach
1870/71. Następnie w Mielnie skręcając w prawo docieramy do Markosic przez
Strzegów i Późną. W wiosce znajduje się krzyż pokutny. Kościół pochodzi częściowo z okresu średniowiecza. Kierując się szlakiem w stronę Gubina, dojeżdżamy
następnie do Sękowic, starej wioski Joannitów. Szczególną atrakcją architektoniczną jest ośmiokątny kościół z muru pruskiego z XVII wieku. Przez Gubinek droga
prowadzi z powrotem do Gubina.

Along the trail of an old trade route
Parts of the tour follow an old trading route through small villages where time
seems to have stood still. This is a landscape which takes us to silence and
originality, away from the noise and hustle of big towns. Via Pleśno and Czarnowice,
past meadows and fruit trees, you arrive in Koperno with its neo-gothic
church. Further one-street villages along the way are Jazów, Grabice and Nowa
Wioska. The village Brzozów has a 1.5 ha big park with the character of a natural monument. The foundation walls of the old manor and the old trees remind us of
past times. Above the village there is a Triumphal Column in remembrance
of the German-French war of 1870/71. You turn right in the village Mielno and go on
via Strzegów and Pozna to Markosice. In that village there is a Expiation Cross.
Parts of the church are from the middle ages. The tour goes on towards Gubin and
you reach the old village of the Order of St. John Sękowice. An architectural
highlight is the octagonal frame-work church from the 17th century. Via Gubinek the
route takes you back to Gubin.

Start ist an der Touristinformation in Guben. Von hier folgt man dem OderNeiße-Radweg Richtung Norden. Der Weg führt zum Teil direkt an der
Neiße entlang, in dessen Verlauf man am alten Hafen vorbei kommt. Bis
kurz vor dem Ersten Weltkrieg gab es hier Schiffsverkehr. Durch Groß
Breesen und vorbei am Kiessee Bresinchen geht es weiter nach Coschen.
An dieser Stelle verlässt man den Oder-Neiße-Radweg und folgt der Straße
über die Brücke nach Żytowań. Von hier führt ein ausgebauter Radweg
zurück in Richtung Gubin. Man passiert den kleinen Ort Budoradz und der
Radweg führt weiter durch den ehemaligen Koenigpark. Der Gubener
Verleger Albert Koenig legte diesen Park an und übergab ihn 1904 der Stadt.
Heute zeugen noch Fragmente der alten Park- und Sportanlagen von der
einstigen Pracht. Erhalten ist ein wundervoller alter Baumbestand.
Der Weg führt weiter zur Gubiner Theaterinsel. Hier findet man Erholung
und Zeugnisse der Geschichte, wie die Nachbildung des Portals des
einstigen Gubener Theaters.

Coschen wurde erstmals 1414 urkundlich erwähnt, ein Dorf mit wechselvoller
Geschichte. Der Ort gehörte lange Zeit zum Kloster Neuzelle und ist
heute Teil der Gemeinde Neißemünde. Hier in Coschen führt die im Jahr
2014 gebaute Brücke mit dem schwungvollen Namen „Neißewelle“

ścieżką rowerową Odra-Nysa w kierunku północnym. Droga prowadzi częściowo bezpośrednio nad Nysą, gdzie przejeżdża się obok starego portu. Krótko przed
l Wojną Światową prowadzona była tu jeszcze żegluga rzeczna. Przez Groß Breesen
obok tzw. jeziora żwirowego w Bresinchen docieramy do miejscowości Coschen.
Coschen powstało w 1414 roku i jest wioską zmian bogatą w przemiany historią. Miejscowość przez długi czas należała do klasztoru w Neuzelle i jest dzisiaj częścią
gminy Neißemünde. Tu w Coschen wybudowany został w 2014 roku most na Nysie
o dumnej nazwie „Łużycka fala”, który łączy miesjcowość z polskim Żytowaniem.
W tym miejscu opuszczamy ścieżkę rowerową Odra - Sprewa i jedziemy następnie
przez most do Żytowania. Stąd prowadzi nowowybudowana ścieżka rowerowa
do Gubina. Przejeżdża się nią w pobliżu małej miejscowości Budoradz a ścieżka rowerowa prowadzi dalej przez Park Koeniga. Gubeński wydawca Albert Koenig
założył ten park i w 1904 przekazał go w darze dla miasta. Dziś fragmenty starego
parku i obiektów sportowych wskazują na dawną okazałość. Pozostał przepiękny
stary drzewostan. Droga prowadzi dalej na gubińską Wyspę Teatralną. Tu można delektować się spokojem oraz pomnikami historii, jak na przykład kopią portalu
byłego gubeńskiego teatru.

German-Polish Round trip
The starting point of the tour is the tourist information office in Guben. From here
you follow the Oder-Neiße Cycle Path to the north. Parts of the way go directly
along the Neiße river past the old port. Until shortly before World War I, there was
shipping traffic. Through Breesen and past the gravel lake of Bresinchen you
reach Coschen. This village was first mentioned in a document in 1414 and has an
eventful history. For a long time, the village belonged to the Neuzelle monastry;
today it is part of the municipality Neißemünde. Here in Coschen the bridge with
the pictorial name “Neiße Wave”, opened in 2014, connects the village with
the Polish Żytowań. Here you leave the Oder-Neiße Cycle Path and follow the road
over the bridge to Żytowań. From here a paved cycle path leads you back towards Gubin. You pass the small village Budoradz from where the way leads you to
the former Koenig Park. The Guben editor Albert Koenig created this park and
donated it to the town in 1903. Until today fragments of the old park and of some
sports facilities are evidence for the former glamour, as well as the still existing
stock of wonderful trees. After that, the path takes you to the Theatre Island in Gubin
where you can find relaxation as well as witnesses of history such as the copy
of the portal of the former theatre of Guben.

Der Abschnitt in Deutschland ist 198 km lang, bevor die Neiße bei
Ratzdorf in die Oder mündet. Seit dem Schengener Abkommen 2007 ist
die Neiße als Grenzfluss Vergangenheit und zu einem erlebbaren verbindenden Element der Städte Guben und Gubin und der Region geworden.
Das Zusammenwachsen der Städte eröffnet neue Perspektiven zur Nutzung
der Neiße als Erholungs- und Erlebnisraum. Innerhalb von Guben und
Gubin laden Steg- und Slipanlagen Wassersportler zum Rudern oder Paddeln
ein. Die Fließgeschwindigkeit der Neiße ist mit 4 bis 6 km/h relativ
hoch. Dadurch bietet sich durch Abschnitte, die an Wildwasser erinnern,
ein einmaliges Erlebnis. Man kann den Fluss mit Kanu, Kajak oder
Schlauchboot erkunden und so die Landschaft und die Flora und Fauna
aus einer ganz eigenen Sicht erleben.
Beispielsweise stehen Tagesangebote, wie von Forst nach Guben und von
Guben nach Ratzdorf, zur Auswahl. Der Oder-Neiße-Radweg führt an
der Neiße entlang und wer möchte, kann das Fahrrad gegen ein Boot
tauschen und einen Teil der Strecke auf dem Wasser zurücklegen.

Od czasu ratyfikacji Układu z Schengen w 2007 roku Nysa nie jest już rzeką
graniczną i stała się elementem łączącym dla miasta Guben i Gubina oraz regionu.
Integracja miast stwarza nowe perspektywy w zakresie wykorzystania Nysy jako
obszaru do wypoczynku i rekreacji. Na terenie miast Guben i Gubina amatorów sportów
wodnych do uprawiania kajakarstwa lub wioślarstwa zapraszają przystanie i
pochylnie do wodowania łodzi. Prędkość przypływu Nysy wynosząca od 4 do 6 km/h
jest dość wysoka, dlatego powstaje tu wyjątkowa atrakcja w postaci odcinków
bystrzy. Można się tu poruszać kajakami lub pontonami i delektować się krajobrazem, florą oraz fauną z własnego punktu widzenia. Do wyboru są jednodniowe wycieczki, jak na przykład z Forst do Guben oraz z Guben do Ratzdorf. Ścieżka

The Neiße River with its spring in the Czech Republic has a total length of 254 km.
The part in Germany is 198 km long, before the Neiße flows into the Oder

Trasa ta rozpoczyna się w Forst nad Nysą. Krótko za Forst napotykamy już pierwszy
most. Na następnym odcinku trasy do Grießen znajduje się wiele możliwości
do kąpieli lub odpoczynku. Przy jazie w Grießen opuszczamy Nysę i wiosłujemy
kanałem w kierunku elektrowni wodnej. Przy elektrowni wodnej łodzie należy
przetransportować. Trasa prowadzi kanałem ponownie do rzeki. Tutaj można spotkać
kilka progów wodnych, które w zależności od poziomu wody powoli wywołują
słabszy lub silniejszy prąd wody. Około dwa kilometry przed Groß Gastrose przepływamy pod kolejnym mostem, którego większa część pozostała i który łączył
kiedyś Albertinenaue i dzisiejsze Markosice. W Groß Gastrose znajduje się elektrownia
wodna. Tu kajaki muszą być po raz ostatni przeniesione. Później napotykamy
ponownie próg wodny, który sprawia, że spływ nabiera charakteru przygodowego i
jest urozmaicony. Na ostatnich kilometrach przepływamy pod mostem w Klein
Gastrose i nieczynnym już mostem kolejowym w Guben. Tutaj poprzez spiętrzenie w
Guben rzeka jest już spokojniejsza i szersza. Z panoramą na miasto wycieczka kończy się przy przystani na nabrzeżnej promenadzie w Guben lub Gubinie.
Start für diese Tagestour ist in Forst auf der Neiße. Kurz hinter Forst bei
Sacro begegnet man der ersten Brücke. Auf dem folgenden Abschnitt der
Tour bis Grießen findet man ausreichend Gelegenheiten für ein Bad
oder zum Rasten. Am Grießener Wehr wird die Neiße verlassen und man
paddelt auf dem Kanal Richtung Wasserkraftwerk. Am Wasserkraftwerk
müssen die Boote umgesetzt werden.
Die Fahrt führt auf dem Kanal wieder zum Flusslauf. Hier sind mehrere
Sohlschwellen zu finden, wo je nach Stand, das Wasser leicht dahin fließt
oder zum kräftigen Schwall auswachsen kann. Etwa zwei Kilometer vor
Groß Gastrose unterquert man die nächste Brücke, fast noch erhalten verband sie einst Albertinenaue und das heutige Markosice. In Groß
Gastrose befindet sich ein Wasserkraftwerk. Hier müssen die Boote ein
letztes Mal umgesetzt werden.
Danach finden sich wieder Sohlschwellen, die die Tour abenteuerlich und
abwechslungsreich werden lassen. Auf den letzten Kilometern passiert
man die Brücke in Klein Gastrose und die stillgelegte Eisenbahnbrücke in
Guben. Hier ist der Fluss durch die Anstauung in Guben bereits ruhiger
und breiter. Mit einem weiten Blick auf die Stadt endet die Tour am Steg
der Uferpromenade in Guben oder Gubin.

From Forst to Guben – Neiße Adventure
Starting point for this day tour is Forst at the Neiße. Shortly behind Forst near Sacro
there is the first bridge. In the next section of the tour up to Grießen there are
many opportunities for taking a bath or a break. At the Grießen Weir you leave the
Neiße and paddle along the canal towards the water power station. At that
power station the boats have to be taken out of the water and put in again. The tour
goes on along the canal until you return to the river where you will have
several sills and steps. Depending on its level, the water would either flow quietly
or grow into a torrent. About 2 km in front of Groß Gastrose you pass the
next bridge which used to connect Albertinenaue and today’s Markosice and is still
almost completely preserved. In Groß Gastrose there is a water power station
where you have to take out the boats the last time. After that there are again steps
and sills which make the tour diversified and adventurous. On the last kilometres you pass the bridge in Klein Gastrose and the closed railway bridge in Guben.
Due to the damming of the river in Guben, the Neiße already gets wider and
calmer here. The tour ends with a view over the town at the pier of the promenade
in Guben or Gubin.

Z Guben do Ratzdorf – Na Nysie do ujścia Odry
Start der Tour ist mitten in der Doppelstadt an den Neißeterrassen in Guben.
Vorbei an der Theaterinsel Gubin treibt der Fluss zügig abwärts. Kurz
hinter der Neißeinsel ragen noch alte Reste der ehemaligen Achenbachbrücke aus dem Fluss. Nach einigen hundert Metern durchfährt man
die Reste der Nordbrücke mit einem kräftigen Schwung. Kurz danach passiert
man den ehemaligen Gubener Hafen, der sich am westlichen Ufer
befindet. Weiter geht es in vielen Biegungen der Neiße in gleichmäßigem
Tempo durch die malerische Landschaft.
Auf der Fahrt lassen sich mit etwas Glück Biber, Fischreiher oder Eisvogel
beobachten. Je nach Wasserstand laden Sandbänke zu einer kleinen
Pause ein. Außer anderen Wassersportlern oder ein paar Anglern begegnet
man kaum jemandem. Auf halber Strecke überspannt die Brücke mit
dem malerischen Namen „Neißewelle“ zwischen Coschen und Żytowań den
Fluss. Nach gleichmäßiger Fahrt künden erste Häuser und ein dichter
werdender Auenwald die nahende Mündung in die Oder an. Auf östlicher
Uferseite ist nun das Kreuz der Begegnung zu sehen, kurz bevor man
den Zusammenfluss von Oder und Neiße erreicht. Nach den ersten Metern
auf der Oder wird am Pegelhäuschen in Ratzdorf angelegt.

Punktem startowym dla tej trasy jest centrum miasta podwójnego w pobliżu
Tarasów Nadnyskich w Guben. Obok Wyspy Teatralnej w Guben rzeka
płynie wartkim nurtem. Krótko za Wyspą Teatralną z wody wystają jeszcze pozostałości byłego mostu Aschenbach. Po kolejnych kilkuset metrach przypływamy
z silnym nurtem obok pozostałości mostu północnego. Krótko po tym przypływamy
przez były port gubeński, który znajduje się na zachodnim brzegu. Następnie
już w równomiernym tempie pokonujemy Nysą wiele zakrętów i podziwiamy malownicze krajobrazy . Po drodze, jeśli szczęście nam sprzyja można zaobserwować
bobry, czaple siwe lub zimorodki. W zależności od poziomu wody mielizny zapraszają do zrobienia małej przerwy. Poza innymi wodnymi amatorami sportów
wodnych lub kilkoma wędkarzami nie spotka się tu prawie nikogo. W połowie drogi
rzeką pojawia się most o malowniczej nazwie „Łużycka Fala”, położony pomiędzy
Żytowaniem i Coschen. Po równomiernym pokonaniu kolejnego odcinka pojawiają
się pierwsze budynki oraz gęsty las łęgowy, który zapowiada zbliżające się ujście do Odry. Po wschodniej stronie brzegu, zanim dotrzemy do ujścia Nysy do Odry,
widać tzw. krzyż spotkania. Po pierwszych metrach na Odrze dopływamy do przystani przy stacji wodowskazowej w Ratzdorf.
From Guben to Ratzdorf – Along the Neiße to the Oder
Starting point of this tour is directly in the centre of the double-town at the Neiße
terraces in Guben. Past the Theatre Island in Gubin, the river flows quickly.
Shortly behind the Neiße Island some old remains of the former Achenbach bridge
can be seen in the water. After a few hundred metres you pass the rest of the
North Bridge and then also the former Guben port which was situated on the west
bank. Further down you go, following the river in numerous bends at constant
speed through picturesque landscapes. If you are lucky, you can watch beavers,
herons or kingfishers. When the water level is low, sandbanks invite you to
take a break. Apart from other water sports enthusiasts or a few anglers you will
hardly see anybody. After about half the tour you reach the bridge between
Coschen and Żytowań with the pictorial name “Neiße Wave”. After calmly travelling
on, first houses and a denser riverside forest indicate that the flow into the
Oder river is close. On the East side you can see the Cross of Meeting, shortly before
you reach the confluence of the Neiße and the Oder rivers. After the first
metres on the Oder, you land at the water gauge house in Ratzdorf.

Małe jeziora po wschodniej i zachodniej stronie Nysy, w centrum obszaru wrzosowisk oraz lasów mieszanych są prawdziwymi skarbami dla chętnych do
kąpieli oraz namiętnych wędkarzy i zapraszają do relaksu na łonie natury. Tutaj
poszukujący aktywnych form wypoczynku są we właściwym miejscu. W
pobliżu Guben po stronie niemieckiej, znajduje się dziewięć jezior naturalnych
z wyróżniającą się jakością wody. Zapraszają one do korzystania z kąpieliska
jak również do wędkowania. Po polskiej stronie regionu są dwa jeziora naturalne.
Ponadto w okolicach Gubina jest kilka prywatnych stawów wędkarskich.

Nicht nur Badefreunden eröffnen die Seen in der Umgebung von Guben
und Gubin ideale Bedingungen für Erholung im kühlen Nass. Die Region
kann mit einer Vielzahl an natürlichen Wasserflächen aufwarten. Egal, ob
man Ruhe und Erholung oder Abenteuer und Sport sucht, ein reichhaltiges
Angebot an den Seen bietet vielfältige Möglichkeiten. Die kleinen Seen
östlich und westlich der Neiße inmitten von Heidelandschaften und Mischwäldern, sind wahre Schätze für Badelustige sowie passionierte Angler
und laden zum Entspannen in der Natur ein. Hier ist man auf der Suche nach
aktiven Erlebnissen genau richtig.
In der Nähe von Guben, auf deutscher Seite, befinden sich neun Naturseen
mit ausgezeichneter Wasserqualität. Sie laden vor allem als Badeund Angelgewässer ein. Auf der polnischen Seite sind zwei Naturseen in
der nahen Region zu finden. Hinzu kommen in der Umgebung Gubins
mehrere private Angelteiche. Einige der Seen sollen hier kurz vorgestellt

The surroundings of Guben and Gubin offer perfect conditions for recreation
in refreshing waters, and not only to swimming enthusiasts. The region has a number of natural waters. No matter if you are looking for silence and recreation
or for adventure and sports, the variety of lakes offers also a large variety of possibilities. The small lakes east and west of the Neiße, which are embedded in
heath landscapes and mixed forests, are real treasures for friends of bathing and
angling alike and invite your to relax amidst quiet nature. When you look for
activities and experiences, this is the right place for you. Near Guben on the German
side, there are nine natural lakes with water of excellent quality. They mainly
invite guests for swimming and angling. On the Polish side, there are two natural
lakes quite near. Additionally there are a number of fishing ponds near Gubin.

Lake Pinnower See
The lake is situated about 16 km west of Guben in the nature park Schlaubetal and
surrounded by pine and deciduous woods. It can be easily reached via the
federal road 320 or by bicycle on paved cycle paths. The lake is 54 hectares big and
up to 11 metres deep. Small beaches, a restaurant close to the lake and a
boat rental point offer good conditions for relaxation. Along the hiking trail around
the lake you can see 12 information boards with interesting facts about
local birds. In a quiz children as well as adults can learn more about birdlife in
this area.
Der Pinnower See
Der See liegt etwa 16 km westlich von Guben, umgeben von Kiefernund Laubwäldern, im Naturpark Schlaubetal. Er ist gut über die
Bundesstraße 320 oder per Rad über ausgebaute Radwege zu erreichen.
Der See hat eine Größe von 54 Hektar und ist bis zu 11 Meter tief.
Kleine Badestrände, eine seenahe Gaststätte und ein Bootsverleih bieten
gute Möglichkeiten zur Entspannung. An einem Wanderweg rund
um den See sind 12 Tafeln mit Wissenswertem über einheimische Vögel
gestaltet. In einem Quiz können sich Groß und Klein mit der hiesigen
Vogelwelt befassen.
Jezioro Pinnower See
Jezioro położone jest około 16 km na zachód od Guben, otoczone lasami sosnowymi i liściastymi, w obszarze chronionego parku „Schlaubetal”. Do jeziora
można dotrzeć drogą federalną B320 lub rowerem rozbudowanymi ścieżkami
rowerowymi. Jezioro liczy powierzchnię 54 hektarów i jest głębokie do 11
metrów. Małe plaże, znajdująca się w pobliżu restauracja oraz wypożyczalnia
kajaków oferują dobre warunki do relaksu. Na szlaku turystycznym wokół
jeziora ustawionych jest 12 tablic z interesującymi informacjami o miejscowych
ptakach. W quizie dla młodszych i starszych można rozwiązywać zadania
dotyczące ptactwa.

Lake Deulowitzer See
The lake is also called „Guben’s bathtub” and is situated about 7 km southwest of
Guben. It can be reached by car as well as by bike on paved cycle paths. It is
surrounded by large pine trees, 11 hectares big and up to 8 metres deep. On its large
beach, Lake Deulowitz offers refreshment on hot days as well as the possibility
simply to relax in the sun. The forests around the lake are rich in mushrooms and
berries. In cold winters the lake is also popular with ice skaters.
Deulowitzer See
Der auch als „Gubener Badewanne“ bezeichnete See liegt etwa 7 km
südwestlich von Guben. Er ist sowohl mit dem Auto als auch per Fahrrad
über ausgebaute Radwege gut zu erreichen. Der von ausgedehnten
Kiefernwäldern umsäumte See ist 11 Hektar groß und bis zu 8 Meter tief.
Der Deulowitzer See bietet an heißen Tagen am großen Strand Abkühlung oder die Möglichkeit in der Sonne zu entspannen. Die umliegenden
Wälder sind reich an Pilzen und Beeren. In kalten Wintern wird der
See gern zum Schlittschuhlaufen genutzt.
Jezioro Deulowitzer See
Jezioro znane również pod nazwą „gubeńska wanna” jest położone około 7 km na
południowy zachód od Guben. Jest dobrze osiągalne zarówno samochodem
jak również rowerem poprzez rozbudowane ścieżki rowerowe. Otoczone rozległymi
lasami sosnowymi jezioro ma powierzchnię 11 hektarów i głębokość do 8
metrów. Podczas upalnych dni jezioro Deulowitzer See oferuje na rozległej plaży
ochłodzenie lub możliwość do wypoczynku w słońcu. Okoliczne lasy są bogate w grzyby i jagody. W okresie mroźnej zimy jezioro jest chętnie wykorzystywane
do jazdy na łyżwach.

Lake Borek
Lake Borek is situated 14 km north of the town Gubin. It has an area of 84 hectares
and an average depth of 6 metres. It is located within the Krzesin landscape
park and surrounded by pine forests. Far away from the noise and the hustle of urban
life, this landscape park is an oasis of silence and peace and offers best conditions for your relaxation. A well-kept beach and different water sports facilities invite
you for a rest or activities such as going by pedal or rowing boat or diving. You
can reach that lake either by bicycle on a well-paved cycle path from Gubin or by car.
Borek See
Der Borek-See ist 14 km nördlich der Stadt Gubin gelegen. Er hat eine Fläche
von 84 Hektar und eine Durchschnittstiefe von 6 Metern. Es befindet
sich auf dem Gebiet des Krzesiner Landschaftsparks, umgeben von Nadelbaumwäldern. Weit entfernt gelegen vom Lärm und der Hektik des
städtischen Lebens, garantiert der Landschaftspark eine entsprechende
Erholung als Oase der Stille und Ruhe. Am See lädt ein gepflegter
Badestrand und verschiedene Wassersportangebote wie Tretboot-Fahren,
Paddeln oder Tauchen zum Ausspannen und zur aktiven Freizeitgestaltung ein. Den See erreicht man per Rad über einen ausgebauten Radweg
ab Gubin oder mit dem Auto.
Jezioro Borek
Jezioro Borek położone jest 14 km na północ od Gubina. Jego powierzchnia
wynosi 84 hektary, a przeciętna głębokość 6 metrów. Znajduje się ono na terenie
Krzesińskiego Parku Krajobrazowego, w otoczeniu lasów iglastych. Położony z
daleka od hałasu i zgiełku życia miejskiego park krajobrazowy gwarantuje błogi
wypoczynek jako oaza spokoju. Do wypoczynku oraz aktywnego spędzenia
czasu wolnego zachęca zadbana plaża oraz różne oferty dla entuzjastówsportów
wodnych jak np. rowery wodne, wiosłowanie lub nurkowanie. Do jeziora
można dotrzeć rowerem wybudowaną ścieżką rowerową z Gubina lub samochodem.

Lake Bronkow
Lake Bronkow is situated 21 km east of Gubin. It can easily be reached by car. If you
want to go there by bike, you follow small streets and unpaved ways through
a landscape dominated by forests. Very close to the lake is a horse ranch with some
offers for horse lovers. For swimming enthusiasts there are beaches and water
sports facilities. In the late summer and in autumn, the forests around the lake have
a large variety of mushrooms.
Bronkow See
Der Bronkow-See liegt etwa 21 km östlich von Gubin. Mit dem Auto
ist er gut erreichbar. Wer mit dem Fahrrad dorthin möchte, fährt über kleine
Straßen und auf unbefestigten Wegen durch die waldreiche Landschaft. In direkter Nähe zum See befindet sich ein Reiterhof mit Angeboten
für alle Pferdeliebhaber. Für Wasserfreunde gibt es Badestrände und
Wassersportmöglichkeiten. In der waldreichen Umgebung lassen sich im
Spätsommer und im Herbst eine Vielzahl von Pilzen finden.
Jezioro Bronków
Jezioro Bronków położone jest około 21 km na wschód od Gubina. Dobrze osiągalne jest samochodem. Kto chciałby dojechać tam rowerem, pojedzie
wąskimi nieutwardzonymi drogami przez leśny krajobraz. W pobliżu jeziora
znajduje się stadnina koni z ofertami dla miłośników jeździectwa. Dla
amatorów wody są tu plaże i możliwości uprawiania sportów wodnych. W obfitujących w lasy okolicach można późnym latem i jesienią znaleźć duże
ilości grzybów.
