This document provides additional assistance with wiring your Extron IP Link enabled product to your device.
Different components may require a different wiring scheme than those listed below.
For complete operating instructions, refer to the user’s manual for the specific Extron IP Link enabled product or
the controlled device manufacturer supplied documentation.

Driver Notes:
 Device needs to have firmware v.3 or later.
 This driver includes Volume Optimization.
 When a Tie has been made between an Input and Output, you can later review the tie by clicking on the
Output number button to highlight the Input number button to which it is tied.

Network communication:
When configuring the Ethernet driver, be sure device settings match that of the GC configuration.
Connection will be lost when uploading or downloading from the ESP from the ControlSpace Designer software.

Notes for the Device:
When Network cable is disconnected the unit must be power cycled to get the network connection to reconnect. This
can be done by physically turning off the device, unplugging the power connector, and then plugging the power
connector back in.
