General rules
• Presence is not compulsory
• Classes and lectures will only take place if
there is minimum 5 students registered
(if there is less than 5 students classes
are transformed to conversatories and
individual studies)
• To pass You have to prepare theoretical
or empirical paper for each subject You
are enrolled
Registration
• If You want to attend the lecture, computer classes
or conversatories registration is compulsory
• In order to register You should add a comment
under information on the classes with Your name
• If You have registered for the classes You
have to attend! If You change Your mind
please cancel Your registration!
• To cancel Your registration You should add a
comment with Your name and the word
'cancelled'
• The registartion will be closed on Tuesdays at
10:00 am
• After the registration I will announce the final
decision about the classes (You may check it on
Tuesdays about 11:00 am)

Lectures
• Not compulsory
• However if You want to attend the lecture
registration is compulsory
• Lectures start on 25th of October
• Registration for the first lectures starts
today
• Presentation from the lecture will be
available on the Internet site after the
lecture
Computer classes
• Not compulsory
• However if You want to attend the computer
classes registration is compulsory
• Computer classes start on 8th of November
• Registration for the first computer classes
starts today
• During computer classes students
individually prepare their research paper:
gather the data, use computer software to do
research, consult the results with the
teacher, write the report etc.

Research paper
The paper should be written by YOU!
Copies of someone else work downloaded
from Internet or other sources will not be
graded.
Topic: You have to propose Your own topic
of the paper, appropriate for given
course, which may be theoretical or
empirical (or both). You do not have to
consult the topic of Your paper.
Research paper
Form: Digital only! Do not print the paper,
just send it via email.
Length: 5 - 15 pages.
Teams: If You wish You may form teams of
max. 3 persons for one paper.
Additional paper instructions are
available on the Internet site.
Research paper
Sending the paper: by e-mail in .doc file to
[email protected]
The file should be named acronym_lastname.doc
for example John Doe and Jane Smith who wrote
together a paper for Econometrics course name their
file ECMR_Doe_Smith.doc

Grades: Within few days after sending Your
paper You will receive an email with the
proposal of the grade and the information
on how and when You may get the grade
signed into Your index book.
Deadline: 15th of January 2017
