P.P.U. KOPGARD Sp. z o.o. was established on 5th
July 1991. The company continues in the tradition
of a wood treatment company that has been
dealing with production and wood preservation
since 1880.
Since 1923, we have been treating wood with the
pressure method. Currently we are specializing in
the production of turned and planed products,
and wood preservation with the pressure
method, and with chromic and non-chromic
agents.
We export 80% of our products,
which are appreciated all over Europe.
Currently we have specialized in the wooden
products, turned or planed, performance in
different dimensions. We equip firm which that
prepare playgrounds, parks, gardens and
parkings. Our stakes are used on the vines
plantations and in orchards.
We also make garden architecture elements such
as swings, sandboxes, flower pots and
composters. Our products can be purchased raw
or impregnated.
We also have Trak belt, on which we can produce
planks and squared timber in different
dimensions. We also manufacture roof trusses on
request. In addition, we offer planing. Our
products are characterized by care and durability.
Our company services also impregnation of wood
for everyone who is interested. We impregnate
not only our goods, but also your. We have three
autoclaves with high efficiency. We also offer
wood drying service for any level of humidity.

company received in 2000 certificate FSC - Chain
of Custody, which confirms the use of the process
timber production derived from 100% from areas
of responsible forest management, independently
certified according to the rules international FSC Forest Stewardship Council ®.

Material
Pine (Pinus silvestris in Latin) is aspecies of
evergreen trees of the family conifers.
Commonly found in Europe, to Siberia - is
covered by the highlands.
During the industrial revolution in Western
Europe has been exterminated pine as a result
of excessive logging, and in some countries
(Ireland, England, the Netherlands) came up to
its complete disappearance. Pine does not grow
well in Portugal or Spain (due to too hot
climate). Against this background Poland is a
country rich in high-grade wood material, and
therefore such a large role in the European
economy plays a Polish forests.
Polish pine is valued in the European
market mostly for high quality.
Pine wood is one of the most important building
materials and is used generally in agriculture,
horticulture and winemaking. Once it was spent
to mine and for teletechnical posts.
The best properties of the raw material is
extracted from trees aged 80-120 years. These
pine wood is easy to process, resin and not too

heavy. Pine trees are also resistant to adverse
weather conditions and has a relatively high
annual growth.
The color of pine ranges from light brown to
reddish-brown. The dry weight of pine wood is
approximately 470 kg / m³, after impregnation
and the weight increases to about 750kg/m3.
Pine wood has good mechanical strength and
elasticity, is a soft wood with a hardness of the
order of 28-30 MPa, with 15% humidity.

Vacuum-Pressure Impregnation
Vacuum-pressure impregnation is the best
method of wood preservation, which protects
them from adverse weather conditions and
against pests. Treated wood is resistant to rain
and snow, as well as handling of direct sunlight
and wind. Impregnation also protects against
interference with the growth of fungi and
pests.
Vacuum-pressure impregnation
protects the wood frow browning,
blue stain and mildew.
Good made impregnation is carried out on
properly prepared wood material. Pine (Pinus
silvestris) is a species that is most effectively
treated with impregnation.
Class of impregnation
Class I - wood after impregnation is suitable for
use as internal parts of buildings that are not
exposed to harmful weather conditions.
Class II - protects the wood against insects and
fungi, for elements not in contact with the
ground and not exposed to atmospheric
conditions.

Klass IV
Class III - slightly desiccated wood before
impregnation, it is suitable as components of
fences, playgrounds, may be exposed to
atmospheric conditions.
Class IV - before impregnation the wood dried
to 25% humidity. Suitable for stakes for trees
and vines as well as parts in contact with the
ground which are exposed to atmospheric
conditions.
Class V - the highest grade wood impregnation.
Highest impregnating wetting agents, such
wood may come into contact with sea water
and is resistant to weather conditions.
The stages of impregnation
1. Loading the of wood to the autoclave.
2. Generating an initial vacuum, which task is
to remove air from wood.
3. Flooding of the wood and fill the autoclave
liquid impregnation.
4. Injection pressure impregnation wood.
5. Drain waterproofing from the autoclave
and vacuum to produce the final, which
dries excess wood impregnation.
6. The removal of timber from the autoclave.
Certificates
KOPGARD company boasts many awards and
certificates for treated wood products and
wood impregnation. The impregnated material
that we issue a certificate specifying the
appropriate quality and preservation, and the
strength of our products.

Teletechnical Poles
We leads for order production and sale of
teletechnical
poles,
used
in
telecommunications, energy and industry.
We produce poles with a length of 7 to 12 m
and of any diameter. Columns can be raw or
pressure impregnated.
Debarked Poles
For individual orders, we also can make
debarked poles that are pre-peeled on white.
These poles have diameters: 8/10cm,
10/12cm and 12/14cm and a length of 350cm,
400cm, 450cm, 500cm and 550cm.
All debarked products are dried to 20%
humidity and impregnated. Debarked Poles
are commonly used to hail and protective nets
for plantations of vines and orchards.
Planks and Squared Timber
Planks
Purchase high quality sawmill tape allowed us
to expand our offer of sawn timber. For
special customer orders, we can make planks
with well-defined dimensions.
For planks made by us, we also for special
order can plane it.
Planks are ideal as structural, construction
and finishing components.
Planks what we sell can be raw or
impregnated in class III or IV.

Roof truss is one of the most important
elements of your home, for decades, it has to
withstand the weight of the roof, so the wood
used to it can not have flaws or blemishes.
Our squared timber used as structural
components are formed from specially selected
wood.
We offer squared timber and roof trusses made
to order. Squared timber can be severe or
impregnated in class III or IV.
We also offer a service planing and drying of the
ordered items.

We produce all kinds of fences made of pine
wood and pressure impregnated. Our fences
are suitable for residential fencing and storage
properties.
Pitched fence:

- Made from the half-palisades ½ 6 x 120cm
