Other quantities, called derived quantities, are defined in terms of the seven base quantities (e.g. m, kg, s) via a system of quantity equations. The SI derived units for these derived quantities are obtained from the seven SI base units. Examples of such SI derived units are given in the table below. You are going to practise saying the Greek letters in pairs. Look at the table and choose the Greek letters you need in the course of your studies. Name them in Polish. Look at task 4 and write down 5 chemical elements in your notebook and read them out to your partner so that he/she can write down their symbols. TASK 8.
