Initiation of legal proceedings before the Common Law Court

The Management Board of Mediatel S.A. with its seat in Warsaw (“Mediatel”) informs that, on
th
November 10 , 2010, Mediatel initiated legal proceedings before the Common Law Court
regarding ruling on non-existence of lease relationship.
Mediatel (plaintiff) and Europolis Bitwy Warszawskiej Sp. z o.o. (limited liability company), with
its seat in Warsaw (defendant) are parties to the proceedings.
The value of the matter of dispute amounts to 1,544,630.88 (say: one million five hundred forty
four thousand six hundred thirty zlotys and 88/100).

In form of a letter, dated July 23 , 2010, Mediatel terminated, with immediate effect, the Lease
Agreement with Eurpolis Bitwy Warszawskiej Sp. z o.o., with its seat in Warsaw, dated April,

30 , 2008. In Mediatel’s understanding, based on the termination, the relationship of lease
between the parties was effectively dissolved. Despite the fact, Europolis Bitwy Warszawskiej
Sp. z o.o., with its seat in Warsaw is still charging Mediatel with a rent and maintenance fees
resulting from the aforesaid Lease Agreement. In this situation, Mediatel considered it
necessary and fully justified to initiate legal proceedings regarding this matter.
Legal basis: art. 56 section 1 of the Act on Public Offering and Trading in Financial Instruments,
and Public Companies, dated July 29th, 2005; and § 5 section 1 subsection 8 and § 14 of the

Decree of the Minister of Finance, dated February 19 , 2009, on current and periodic
information submitted by the issuers of bonds and conditions for acknowledging equivalence of
the information required by the law of a country which is not a member of the European Union.
