THE SIRENADE
The Sirenade is an open-air
performance of a high artistic rank. Due to its
rich visual and musical character as well as the
use of innovative installations with dedicated
techniques of animation, the performance has
an extraordinary artistic potential. The grand

ABOUT THE PERFORMANCE:
The show is inspired by legends and tales of Sirens and Tritons. It is a metaphorical tale about
human being’s dreams with a starting point in a story of the magical dwellers of water realm – the
Sirens. The performance conjoins four elements – water, wind, fire and earth. It's unique action is
usually set on the river banks or at the seashore. The play is strictly bound to the themes of water and
river which constitute to the scenery of the show. One of the past performances during Wianki
Festival, Warsaw allowed for the artists to experiment with live water element since the show was
performed on the site-specific stage - the moving machinery of the sirens and the majority of the show
was performed on the shallow artificial lake.
