We have the pleasure to invite you to take part in
the XVII International Seminar of Metrology
Methods and Techniques of Signal Processing in
Physical Measurements.
The Seminar is organised to provide a forum
to present papers concerned the signal
processing in physical measurements. It is
meant as an opportunity for scientists and
engineers to discuss and exchange opinions on
research, development and applications.
Usually experts from technical universities from
Germany Hungary, Poland, Slovakia, Sweden
and Ukraine attend the seminar.
You are kindly invited to submit contributions on the topics listed below.
GENERAL INFORMATION
The XVII edition of ISM will take place at
Gdansk University of Technology (October 20,
2011) and at Blekinge Institute of Technology, in
Karlskrona (October 21, 2011).
SOCIAL PROGRAM
It be planned to visit the magnificent town of
Gdynia (Poland) Karlskrona (Sweden) and selected
departments of Gdansk University of Technology,
Gdynia Maritime University and Blekinge Institute
of Technology.

Language: The languages of the Seminar will be
English, Polish, and Russian (in Karlskrona English
only)
Proceedings: All accepted papers will be published
in polish journal MAaM, Measurements,
Automation and Monitoring (Pomiary Automatyka
Kontrola). The recommended length of a paper is 3
MAaM pages. Guidelines for preparing a paper to
MAaM will be available on the website of ISM’11.
Full papers should be sent to organising committee
until 31.05.2011.
PAYMENT
Participation fee covering registration, seminar
materials, accommodation, board and dinner will
amount to 1800 PLN (460 €)
