Coming Home to pierwsza część historii osadzonej w północnej Anglii i opowiadającej o Jan,
siedemnastolatce której matka porzuciła rodzinę, pozostawiając ją wraz z bratem i ojcem samym

This short play is the first part of a story set in the North of England about Jan, a seventeen year old
girl whose mother has walked out on the family, leaving Jan, her father, and her brother behind. Jan
is determined to find her mother and ask her why she left the family, but she finds that the rest of
the family, including her father, brother and grandparents, are less than enthusiastic at the prospect
of the mother’s coming home. The play was specially adapted for use by students of radio acting, as
it offers relatable characters in a modern, realistic setting.
