W ROLNICTWIE EKOLOGICZNYM
Streszczenie
Od połowy lat 90. nastąpił w Polsce dynamiczny rozwój rolnictwa ekologicznego. Jednakże
dalszy jego rozwój uzależniony jest w dużym stopniu od ograniczenia pracochłonności produkcji. Szczególnie dotyczy to odchwaszczania plantacji ekologicznych. Brak rąk do pracy
powoduje, że rolnicy rezygnują z prowadzenia bardziej pracochłonnych upraw ekologicznych. Szczególnie dotyczy to produkcji warzyw. W IBMER opracowano i przebadano trzy
nowe konstrukcje maszyn i urządzeń do odchwaszczania pól oraz do zapobiegania ich nadmiernemu zachwaszczaniu. Są to następujące konstrukcje: pielnik do pielęgnacji warzyw
korzeniowych z zestawem narzędzi roboczych, pług wahadłowy, spulchniacz obrotowy. Badaniom poddano także bronę talerzową z POM-Brodnica. Pielnik będzie w br. skierowany do
produkcji, pozostałe konstrukcje po modernizacji i dodatkowych badaniach również. W artykule omówiono wyniki badań tych maszyn.

MECHANICAL WEED CONTROL ON THE FIELDS
IN ECOLOGICAL AGRICULTURE
Summary
Since the middle nineties a dynamic development of ecological farming has been observed
in Poland. However, its further development depends to large extent on the reduction of labour consumption in agricultural production. That deals with weeding of the ecological crops
in particular. Owing to the shortage of labour force the farmers resign the cultivation of more
labour consuming ecological crops, especially the vegetables. Thus, three new constructions
of the machines and implements for weeding the fields and protection against weed infestation have been developed and tested at the Institute (IBMER). They are as follows: the hoe
for root vegetable cultivation with a set of working implements, oscillatory plough and the
rotary soil opener. Disc harrow manufactured by the Brodnica Mechanization Centre (POM)
was tested as well. The hoe will be recommended to production this year, the other constructions – after modernization and additional tests – too. Paper presented the results of testing
the machines mentioned above.
