General description
Ex components – flame-proof inlet units with fastener type
W_M are designed for penetrations of wires/cables with
outer diameters of 6 ÷ 50 mm to flame-proof electric
appliances. Boots type ZW are designed for stopping
redundant openings in the inlet body.

Dimensions
are suitable for application
− in methane fields of coal mines, in excavations of
methane explosion hazard class a, b, or c, or coal
dust explosion hazard class A or B;
− indoors and outdoors in explosion hazard zones 1
and/or 2 and 21 and/or 22, where explosive mixtures
of gases, vapours, mists and flammable dust with air
can accumulate

Compliance with standards
Flame-proof inlet units are manufactured in accordance
with principles of good safety engineering practice and are
state-of-the-art, to meet the requirements of the following
standards:
• PN-EN 60079-0: 2009 (EN 60079-0:2009),
• PN-EN 60079-1: 2010 (EN 60079-1: 2007),
• PN-EN 60079-31 :2010 (EN 60079-31:2009)
harmonized with EU Directive 94/9/EC, and the
regulations in force.
