Drodzy przyjaciele z 4 stron świata,
w tym roku wielu z was zawita poraz pierwszy do Polski,
by wspólnie wypalić fajkę według reguł CIPC. 2005 jest
rokiem szczególnym dla polskich fajczarzy. Po wielu staraniach i przygotowaniach, których początek datuje się na
1996, będziemy brać udział w XI Pucharze
Świata Drużyn Klubów Fajkowych, a pierwszym zorganizowanym na ziemiach polskich.
Ruch fajczarski w Polsce ma 31 lat. Pierwsze
Mistrzostwa Polski wg reguł CIPC zostały
przeprowadzone 25 maja 1974 roku w Szczecinie. Cztery lata później, 7 października
1978 roku w Bremie podczas obrad CIPC
polskie kluby fajkowe zostały przyjęte w poczet członków CIPC. Wybór Poznania na
miejsce tych prestiżowych zawodów to decyzja przemyślana. KKF Poznań od 1997 roku
nieprzerwanie co roku organizuje najbardziej
popularne w Polsce międzynarodowe zawody
o Puchar Novotelu, w których udział bierze
około 100 fajczarzy z Polski i zagranicy. Poznań ma odpowiednią bazę noclegową i doskonałe połączenia z największymi miastami Europy.
W tym miejscu chciałbym wyrazić gorące podziękowania

Dear friends from all over the world,
This year you are welcomed for the first time to Poland in
order to smoke a pipe together according to the rules of
CIPC. The 2005 is a particular year for the Polish pipe’s smokers. After numerous efforts that have been made since 1996
we will take part in The 11-th Pipe Club Teams’ World Cup,
which is organized for the first time in Poland.
The pipe’s movement in Poland has already 31 years. The
first Pipe World Cup was organized on May 25th ,1974
in Szczecin. Four years later on September 7th, 1978 in
Brema during the summit of CIPC the Polish pipe clubs
were admitted to CIPC. The choice of Poznań as a place
of this prestigious competition was a through decision. It
is since 1997 that KKF has been annually organizing Novotel’s Cup, the most popular pipe competition in Poland,
in which about 100 competitors from Poland and abroad
takes part. Poznań is the city that offers an excellent ac-
commodation and has good connections with the biggest
cities of Europe.
At this point I would like to express my greatest thanks to
the companies, without which it would not be possible to
organize this World Cup. A great applause is due to the
main sponsor Orlik Tobacco Company and its representative Scandinavian Tobacco as well as
to the strategic sponsor the hotel Novotel
Centrum in Poznań, on which premises the
World Cup takes place. I would also like to
thank Mr Henryk Worobiec, who manufactured the beautiful competition pipe, Tobacco Poland magazine for their support in media and to all the companies enumerated on

Chers amis de tous les coins du monde,
Cette année la plupart de vous sera pur la première fois en
Pologne pour fumer la pipe ensemble, selon les règles de
CIPC. L’an 2005 est une année particuliere pour beaucoup
entre nous. Après les efforts et preparations qui ont commence en 1996 nous allons participer aux IX- ème Coupe
du Monde des Pipe Clubs.
Le mouvement de fumeurs de pipe en Pologne a dèja 31 ans.
Les première Championnats de Pologne ont eu la place le 25
Mai 1974 à Szczecin. Quartre années plus tard, le 7 octobre
1978 á Brema pendant le debat de CIPC les clubs polonais de
pipes sont devenus les membres de CIPC.On n’a pas choisi
Poznań par hasard. A partir de 1997 KKF Poznań organise
chaque année les Championnats Internationaux de fumeurs
de pipe- Novotel Cup. C’est environ 100 participants de Pologne et de l’ étranger se présentent dans cette competition.
Poznań possède les excellentes conditions de logement et ade
bonnes connections avec les plus grands villes de l’Europe.
Je voudrais remercier toutes les entreprises sans aide
desquelles il ne serait pas possible d’organiser ce championnat à organiser. Il faut applaudir le sponsor général
Orlik Tobacco, son representant Scandinavian Tobacco,
le sponsor stratégique l’hôtel Novotel Centrum á Poznań,
qui nous a proposé une endroit agréable pour accueillir
les Pipe Clubs. Je voudrais aussi bien remercier Monsieur

REGULAMIN KRAJOWYCH I MIĘDZYNARODOWYCH MISTRZOSTW
W WOLNYM PALENIU FAJKI
Celem zawodów jest jak najwolniejsze palenie fajki bez jej powtórnego zapalania dla wyłonienia
najdłużej palących zawodników lub drużyn. Każdy zawodnik lub członek drużyny otrzymuje taką
samą ilość tytoniu, fajkę tego samego typu i taki sam ubijacz.
UCZESTNICTWO
Art. 1
W zawodach mogą uczestniczyć wyłącznie osoby, które ukończyły 18 lat, są członkami klubów
fajczarskich zrzeszonych w Krajowej Federacji Klubów będącej członkiem CIPC.
Art. 2
Organizator ma prawo do ustalenia limitu liczby zawodników. Limit ten musi zostać ogłoszony w
momencie przyznania organizacji zawodów.
TYTOŃ
Art. 3
Uczestnicy zawodów palą tytoń wybrany przez organizatorów.
Art. 4
Porcja tytoniu do palenia wynosi 3 gramy.
Art. 5
Organizatorzy są zobowiązani do podania nazwy wybranego tytoniu wraz z pełnym programem
imprezy najpóźniej na 2 miesiące przed zawodami.
FAJKA
Art. 6
Organizatorzy wydają uczestnikom przygotowane fajki na początku zawodów.
Art. 7
Fajki powinny spełniać następujące kryteria: wrzoścowe bez lub z usuwalnym filtrem, klasyczne w
kształcie, proste, mieszczące co najmniej 3 g tytoniu.
Fajki dostarcza klub organizujący zawody.
Art. 8
Organizatorzy są zobowiązani do podania dokładnych wymiarów i kształtu fajki spełniającej wymogi
art. 7 najpóźniej na 2 miesiące przed zawodami. Są również zobowiązani do przesłania za opłatą
wzorcowej fajki na prośbę klubu. Jeśli fajka posiada filtr, uczestnik może go usunąć.
JURY
Art. 10
Jury jest uprawnione do podejmowania wiążących i ostatecznych decyzji odnośnie wszystkich spraw
dotyczących zawodów. W jego skład powinno wchodzić co najmniej pięć osób: a) prezydent CIPC
lub wyznaczony przez niego zastępca, b) prowadzący zawody z klubu organizującego je, do którego
obowiązków należy zapewnienie zespołu sędziów stolikowych, ogłaszanie decyzji i wyników zawodów i, jeśli to konieczne, podawanie czasów pośrednich zawodów, c) co najmniej trzech członków
będących prezydentami Federacji Krajowych lub ich zastępców nominowanych na zebraniu CIPC w
dniu poprzedzającym zawody.
Art. 11
Na każdych 10 uczestników przypada jeden sędzia stolikowy. Sędziów stolikowych wyznacza prowadzący zawody. Nadzorują oni zawody, przez cały czas kontrolują ich przebieg i obserwują zawodników
oraz zapisują osiągnięte wyniki na leżących przed zawodnikami kartach startowych. Sędziowie
stolikowi rozdają fajki i pozostałe akcesoria wymienione w art. 16 regulaminu.W razie potrzeby zwracają się do jury po instrukcje lub rozstrzygnięcia wątpliwości lub sporów. Jury ma prawo zmiany sędziego
stolikowego, jeśli dopatrzy się jego niekompetencji.
UCZESTNICY
Art. 12
Każdy uczestnik otrzymuje numerowaną kartę startową i ewentualnie identyfikator, który powinien
przypiąć w widocznym miejscu. Zajmuje swoje wyznaczone, numerowane miejsce przy odpowiednim, również numerowanym stoliku.
Art. 13
Uczestnicy mogą używać wyłącznie drewnianego ubijacza o długości 10 cm i o średnicy 15 mm,
dostarczonego przez organizatorów.
Art. 14
Na sygnał prowadzącego zawody sędziowie stolikowi wydają każdemu uczestnikowi jedną fajkę,
którą po sprawdzeniu należy położyć przed sobą na stole. Fajki z jakimikolwiek defektami podlegają
wymianie.
Art. 15
Na sygnał prowadzącego zawody sędziowie stolikowi kładą przed każdym uczestnikiem jeden ubijacz
opisany w art. 13 i jedno opakowanie tytoniu Zawodnikom nie wolno dotykać opakowania z tytoniem aż
do czasu podania sygnału startowego.
Art. 16
Sędziowie stolikowi sprawdzają, czy przed każdym zawodnikiem znajdują się tylko następujące
akcesoria: fajka, opakowanie z tytoniem, drewniany ubijacz, dwie zapałki w pudełku, kartka papieru
formatu A4, karta startowa zawodnika.
Każdy zawodnik musi pamiętać o przestrzeganiu następujących zasad: a) używanie ubijacza jest
dozwolone tylko wtedy, gdy fajkę trzyma w ustach, b) całkowicie zabrania się wstrząsania fajką i
stukania fajką lub w fajkę w jakikolwiek sposób, c) uczestnik może wyjąć ustnik z fajki na kilka
sekund w celu pozbycia się wilgoci wyłącznie przez pukanie w kartkę papieru lub przedmuchanie go,
d) do wycierania ubijacza można używać kartki papieru, e) zawodnik może wysypać popiół z fajki,
lecz nie może włożyć z powrotem tytoniu, który wypadł podczas tej operacji, f) uczestnicy zawodów
mogą pić dopiero po upłynięciu 10 min od startu. Na każdym stole powinna znajdować się woda i
szklanki do dyspozycji zawodników, g) niedozwolone jest podtrzymywanie żaru poprzez dmuchanie
w główkę fajki nosem ani ustami. Takie postępowanie jest podstawą do dyskwalifikacji zawodnika.
Art. 17
Na sygnał prowadzącego zawody uczestnicy otwierają opakowania z tytoniem
i mają 5 minut na napełnienie fajki.
Art. 18
Tytoń może być rozkruszany tylko w czasie tego przygotowawczego czasu.
Art. 19
Niedozwolone jest nawilżanie tytoniu w jakikolwiek sposób.
Art. 20
Zabronione jest umieszczanie w fajce jakichkolwiek dodatkowych materiałów, kredy, kryształków,
filtrów itp.
Art. 21
Po upływie 5 minut sędziowie stolikowi zabierają niezużyty w tym czasie tytoń pozostały na
kartkach.
Art. 22
Na sygnał prowadzącego zawody uczestnicy zapalają fajki i rozpoczyna się odmierzanie czasu.
Art. 23
Uczestnicy mają jedną minutę na zapalenie fajki i mogą użyć 1 lub 2 zapałki.
Złamane lub wadliwe zapałki zostają wymienione przez sędziego stolikowego.
Art. 24
Uczestnik któremu fajka zgaśnie, natychmiast podnosi swoją kartę startową do góry sygnalizując ten
fakt sędziemu stolikowemu.
Art. 25
W razie podejrzenia wygaśnięcia fajki sędzia stolikowy ma prawo poprosić zawodnika o pokazanie
dymu. Jeśli fajka zgasła, a zawodnik nie zasygnalizował tego zgodnie z art. 24, sędzia stolikowy
zgłasza do jury wniosek o dyskwalifikację zawodnika za zachowanie niezgodne z zasadami fair play.
Art. 26
Zdyskwalifikowany zawodnik musi oddać swoją kartę startową sędziemu stolikowemu.
Art. 27
W przypadku przepalenia lub nadpalenia fajki jury dyskwalifikuje zawodnika.
REKLAMA
Art. 28
Niedozwolone jest umieszczanie żadnych reklam ani znaków firmowych na ubraniach członków jury.
OPŁATA WPISOWA
Art. 29
Wysokość opłaty wpisowej ustala organizator. Płaci ją każdy uczestnik zawodów i nie podlega ona
zwrotowi.
Art. 30
Zgłoszenie lub wymiana zawodnika w ostatniej chwili musi być zaakceptowana przez organizatorów.
Art. 31
Oprócz opłaty wpisowej uczestnik ponosi wszystkie inne koszty uczestnictwa
w zawodach. One również nie podlegają zwrotowi.
WYNIKI ZAWODÓW
Art. 32
Listę zwycięzców sporządza jury. Decyzje jury są ostateczne i obowiązujące.
ZWYCIĘZCA INDYWIDUALNY
Art. 33
Zwycięzcą zostaje uczestnik, który palił fajkę najdłużej, nie nadpalił jej i nie złamał żadnego punktu
regulaminu. Jury sprawdza fajki 10 pierwszych palaczy aby stwierdzić, czy nie zostały one nadpalone.
Art. 34
Zwycięzca ma prawo do tytułu Mistrza Świata, Europy, Ameryki lub Azji.
Art. 35
Organizatorzy mają prawo do ufundowania specjalnych nagród, oraz sporządzania osobnej listy
dla zwycięzkich pań.
ZWYCIĘZCA DRUŻYNOWY, NARODOWY LUB KRAJOWY
Art. 36
Każda drużyna może składać się maksymalnie z 5 osób, których nazwiska zgłasza prezydent Federacji Krajowej. Suma czasów 3 najlepszych członków drużyny stanowi jej końcowy wynik.
Art. 37
Każda drużyna musi składać się z członków klubów należących do Federacji Krajowej, która ich
wyznacza. Drużyna może składać się z członków różnej płci.
Art. 38
Zwycięzka drużyna (narodowa, krajowa) ma prawo do używania tytułów opisanych w art. 34.
PUCHAR ŚWIATA
Art. 39
Każda drużyna może składać się maksymalnie z 5 osób zgłaszanych przez lokalne kluby należące do
Federacji Krajowej będącej członkiem CIPC. Suma czasów 3 najlepszych członków drużyny stanowi
jej końcowy wynik.
SKARGI
Art. 40
Uczestnicy mają prawo do odwołania się od decyzji sędziego stolikowego (odnośnie pomiaru czasu)
przez złożenie skargi do jury w czasie do 15 minut po zakończeniu zawodów.
Art. 41
Po upływie wymienionego powyżej czasu żadna skarga nie zostanie przyjęta.
Art. 42
Organizatorzy nie ponoszą żadnej odpowiedzialności za jakiekolwiek szkody materialne i niematerialne, powstałe na skutek działania lub zaniedbania uczestników zawodów oraz osób trzecich, jak
też spowodowane przez inne czynniki.
Art. 43
Poprzez zgłoszenie się do zawodów uczestnicy jednoznacznie wyrażają swoją zgodę na bezwarunkowe przestrzeganie regulaminu CIPC.
POROZUMIENIA MIĘDZY KLUBAMI KRAJOWYMI
Art. 44
Kluby należące do CIPC akceptują ten regulamin jako jedyny obowiązujący
w sprawach przyznawania tytułów wymienionych w art. 34 i 38.
Art. 45
Przy organizowaniu mistrzostw krajowych przez poszczególne Federacje dopuszczalne są zmiany w
sformułowaniach art. 10, 11, 12, 16 pkt f) i 36.
Art. 46
CIPC rezerwuje sobie prawo rozstrzygania wszelkich wynikłych sporów.
REGULAMIN REJESTRACJI REKORDÓW CIPC
Poprawiony w 1997 r. zgodnie z uchwałą podjętą przez Zgromadzenie Generalne w Graz, Austria
w 1996 r.
CEL: Ustala się regulamin rejestracji rekordów w wolnym paleniu fajki uzyskiwanych na zawodach
organizowanych pod nadzorem CIPC dla ustanawiania rekordów Świata, Europy, Azji i Ameryki.
Art. 1
CIPC (Międzynarodowy Komitet Klubów Fajczarskich) jest odpowiedzialny za dokonywanie oficjalnej rejestracji rekordów międzynarodowych. Tylko rekordy zaakceptowane i zarejestrowane przez
CIPC mają prawo do nazwy rekord Świata, rekord Europy, rekord Azji i rekord Ameryki.
Art. 2
CIPC rejestruje nowe rekordy w wolnym paleniu fajki uzyskiwane indywidualnie przez palaczy
uczestniczących w Mistrzostwach Świata, Europy, Azji i Ameryki, jak również w Mistrzostwach
Krajowych i zawodach regionalnych organizowanych przez poszczególne kraje członkowskie CIPC.
Art. 3
Rekord może zostać zaakceptowany do rejestracji tylko wtedy, gdy zawody na których został ustanowiony będą spełniały wszystkie warunki i wymagania przedstawione poniżej.
Art. 4
Zawody muszą być organizowane pod nadzorem CIPC i spełniać warunki Regulaminu Międzynarodowych i Krajowych Mistrzostw CIPC.
Art. 5
Nadzór CIPC nad zawodami przedstawia się następująco: a) Mistrzostwa Międzynarodowe (Świata,
Europy, Azji i Ameryki). Funkcję przewodniczącego jury musi pełnić co najmniej jeden z wymienionych członków Rady CIPC - prezydent, wiceprezydent, sekretarz generalny. b) Mistrzostwa Krajowe.
Funkcję przewodniczącego jury musi pełnić jeden z wymienionych członków Rady CIPC albo
Prezydent Krajowej Federacji.
c) Zawody Regionalne.
Funkcję przewodniczącego jury musi pełnić Prezydent Krajowej Federacji albo jego oddelegowany
zastępca.
d) Zastępca.
Wymieniony w pkt a) członek Rady CIPC, jak i Prezydent Krajowej Federacji odpowiedzialny za
nadzór mistrzostw lub zawodów mogą udzielić pisemnego pełnomocnictwa swojemu zastępcy, który
pełniąc funkcję przewodniczącego jury przejmuje odpowiedzialność za nadzór danej imprezy. Takie
pisemne pełnomocnictwo musi zostać dostarczone organizatorom przed rozpoczęciem zawodów.
Art. 6
a) Mistrzostwa Międzynarodowe (Świata, Europy, Azji i Ameryki) muszą być organizowane przez
CIPC. Uczestniczyć w nich muszą co najmniej dwa kraje członkowskie CIPC.
b) Mistrzostwa Krajowe muszą być organizowane przez Krajową Federację należącą do CIPC.
Uczestniczyć w nich muszą co najmniej dwa kluby członkowskie Krajowej Federacji.
c) Zawody Regionalne są organizowane dla prowincji lub rejonu kraju członkowskiego CIPC.
Uczestniczyć w nich muszą co najmniej dwa kluby członkowskie Krajowej Federacji.
Art. 7
Należy dokonać kontrolnego ważenia przygotowanego do zawodów tytoniu oraz sporządzić oficjalny

Art. 8
Prośbę o zarejestrowanie nowego rekordu przedstawia pisemnie Prezydentowi CIPC Prezydent
Krajowej Federacji w ciągu 2 tygodni od daty mistrzostw, na których został on ustanowiony. Do
prośby należy dołączyć następujące dokumenty:
a) oficjalny raport z kontrolnego ważenia tytoniu � formularz A,
b) oficjalny raport rejestracji czasu � formularz B,
c) pisemne pełnomocnictwo dla zastępcy jeśli miało to miejsce.
Na wszystkich tych dokumentach musi zostać złożony komplet wymaganych podpisów.
Art. 9
Rada CIPC (Prezydent, Wiceprezydent i Sekretarz Generalny) zadecyduje, czy rekord zostanie
zaakceptowany.
Art. 10
O decyzji CIPC informuje pisemnie zgłaszającego Prezydent CIPC w ciągu 30 dni od daty
otrzymania prośby.
Art. 11
a) Sekretarz Generalny CIPC jest odpowiedzialny za rejestrację bieżących rekordów Świata, Europy,
Azji i Ameryki.
b) Po akceptacji i rejestracji każdego nowego rekordu Sekretarz Generalny sporządza raport dla
wszystkich krajów członkowskich informując w ciągu trzech miesięcy o nowym rekordzie jak
również o aktualnych rekordach Świata, Europy, Azji i Ameryki.

REGULATIONS FOR THE INTERNATIONAL
PIPE SMOKING CHAMPIONSHIPS
PURPOSE OF THE COMPETITION
The purpose of the competition is to have participants or teams to smoke a pipe for the longest
possible period of time without relighting it and to determine who does this longest. Each participant
or team will have to use the same amount of tobacco, a similar pipe and tamper.
PARTICIPATION
Art. 1
Only persons over the age of 18 and members of pipesmoking clubs affiliated to the national pipe
club, member of the CIPC, can take part in the competition.
Art. 2
The organizing association has the right to limit the number of participants. However the limit must
be stated when the association is appointed to organize the competition.
TOBACCO
Art. 3
Participants will only use the tobacco selected by the organizers of the competition.
Art. 4
The quantity of tobacco to be used will be three grams.
Art. 5
The organizers will make the name of the selected tobacco known, together with the full programme
of the event, latest two months in advance.
PIPE
Art. 6
The organizers will provide all participants with the pipes to be used at the beginning of the
competition.
Art. 7
The pipes will be made of briar, straight and classical in shape, with or without a removable filter and
will be able to hold at least three grams of tobacco. They will be supplied by the pipe club organizing
the competition.
Art. 8
The organizers will announce the exact dimensions of the pipe to be used for the competition at
least two months in advance following the provisions of art. 7 above. The organizers will also send a
sample of the pipe to any club on request, against payment.
Art. 9
Should the pipe have a filter, the participant may remove it.
JURY
Art. 10
The jury has the full binding power, and shall be composed of at least five persons: the president
of the CIPC or his nominee; a competition-leader, from the organizing pipe club, whose duty is to
appoint the time-keepers, announce the decisions and results, and if necessary, the intermediate
times of the competition; at least three jury-members, being the presidents of national pipe clubs or
their nominees, nominated at the CIPC-meeting on the preceding day of the competition.
Art. 11
Each group of ten participants will be attended by at least one steward. The stewards will be
appointed by the competition-leader. They will control the competition, constantly supervise the
participants and use the time-registration card placed in front of the participant to register the time
achieved by each participant. The stewards will distribute pipes and other items stipulated in art. 16
herein. They will seek instructions from the jury whenever the need arises. The jury is allowed to
replace a steward during the competition if found inefficient.
PARTICIPANTS
Art. 12
Each participant will receive a numbered card and may be given a name plate which is to be placed
visibly. Each participant will then be seated at their respectively numbered table/seat.
Art. 13
The participants will only be allowed to use a wooden tamper, fifteen mm in diameter and ten cm
long, which will be supplied by the organizers.
Art. 14
When the competition-leader gives the signal, the steward will supply each participant with one
pipe each; after examining it, the pipe shall be placed in front of each participant. Any defective
pipe may be replaced.
Art. 15
When the competition-leader gives the signal, each steward will place one tamper as described in art.
13 and one packet of tobacco in front of each participant. The participants are not allowed to touch
the tobacco until the starting signal is given.
Art. 16
The steward will control that only the following items are in front of each participant: the pipe,
the packet of tobacco, the wooden tamper, two matches in a box, an A4-sized sheet of paper, a
time-registration card.
Each participant will have to keep in mind that: 1) the tamper may only be used when the pipe
is in the mouth, 2) it is strictly forbidden to knock or shake the pipe in any way or by any means
whatsoever, 3) the participant may remove the mouthpiece from the pipe for a few seconds during
the competition in order to get any liquid out of it by knocking it on the sheet of paper or by blowing
through it, 4) the sheet of paper can be used by each participant to wipe the tamper during the
competition, 5) participants may remove ash from the pipe, but may not put back any tobacco which
falls out during this operation, 6) participants are allowed to drink after the first ten (10) minutes of
of the competition. There will be water and glasses on each table at their disposal, 7) it is not allowed
to keep the pipe alight by blowing in the bowl of the pipe through neither the mouth nor the nose.
These are grounds for disqualification.
Art. 17
When the competition-leader gives the starting signal, the participants will open the packet of
tobacco and will have five minutes to fill the pipe.
Art. 18
The tobacco may be shredded only within this preparation period.
Art. 19
The participants are not allowed to humidify the tobacco in any way.
Art. 20
The participants are not allowed to put any extraneous matter such as chalk, filter or similar materials
into the pipe.
Art. 21
After the allowed five minutes, the time-keeper will remove the remaining tobacco.
Art. 22
When the competition-leader gives the signal, the participants must light their pipes, and time will
be registered from then on.
Art. 23
The participants shall have one minute to light the pipe by using one or both matches. Any match
which breaks or does not light will be replaced by the time-keeper.
Art. 24
The participant whose pipe estinguishes will immediately hand over his time-registration card to
the steward.
Art. 25
Should the steward suspect that a pipe is estinguished, he will be allowed to ask the participant to
exhale smoke. If the pipe is totally estinguished and the participant has not singaled it in due time as
stated in art. 24, the time-keeper will request the jury to disqualify the participant for lack of fair play.
Art. 26
The disqualified participant must give up his time-registration card to the steward.
Art. 27
Should any pipe burn, the jury will disqualify the participant.
ADVERTISEMENT
Art. 28
No advertisement or trade name is permitted on the clothes of the members of the jury.
ENTRY FEE
Art. 29
The organizers will lay down the entry fee for the competition; each participant will pay the fee, non
refundable, until the registration deadline fixed by the organizers.
Art. 30
Last minute entry or replacement may be accepted or rejected by the organizers.
Art. 31
In addition to the entry fee, each participant will pay for any incurred cost. These are equally non
refundable.
FINAL RESULTS
The jury will draw up the final list of the winners. The jury’s decision is final and binding.
INDIVIDUAL WINNER
Art. 33
The winner shall be the participant who smokes the longest, provided that the pipe is not burned and
the participant did not break any of the regulations. The jury will inspect the pipes smoked by the top
ten smokers to determine whether the pipes have not been burnt.
Art. 34
The winner will be entitled to be called „World”, „European”, „Asian” or „American Champion”, as
the case may be.
Art. 35
The organizers may however offer special awards and may draw up a special list of winners for
the ladies.
NATIONS WINNER
Art. 36
Each team may be comprised of a maximum of five smokers, whose names will be notified by the
president of the national pipe club. The times recorded by the top three winners of each national
team will be taken into account.
Art. 37
Each team will be composed of members affiliated to the national pipe club that nominated them.
Teams can be of mixed genders.
Art. 38
The team-winning country will be authorized to use the title according to art. 34.
WORLD-CUP
Art. 39
Each team may be comprised of a maximum of 5 smokers, whose names will be notified by a local
club affiliated to a national club belonging to the CIPC. The times recorded by the top three winners
in each local team will be taken into account.
COMPLAINTS
Art. 40
The participants are allowed to appeal against the decision of a time-keeper by lodging a complaint
with the jury up to fifteen minutes after the competition.
Art. 41
No complaint will be accepted after the above mentioned time.
Art. 42
The organizers decline any liability for any damage or injury caused by things or persons, whether
they are participants or not.
Art. 43
By entering the competition, participants implicitly agree to abide by the general CIPC Regulations,
ipso facto.
AGREEMENTS AMONG NATIONAL CLUBS
Art. 44
Clubs belonging to the CIPC accept these regulations as the only ones applicable for the awarding of
the titles according to art. 34 and 38.
Art. 45
The articles 10, 11, 12, 16.6) and 36 can be settled otherwise by a national club for the organization
of a national championship. The title of national winner, eventually of winner of the clubs, is entitled
in accordance to art. 33 to 39.
Art. 46
The CIPC reserves the right to adjudicate any cases which may arise.
CIPC RECORD REGISTRATION REGULATIONS
Revised in 1997 as per the resolutions made at CIPC General Assembly held in Graz, Austria in 1996.
PURPOSE: The regulations are set to register records of pipe smoking competition held under
the supervision of CIPC to set the WORLD Record, EUROPEAN Record, ASIAN Record and
AMERICAN Record.
Article 1
CIPC (Comite International des Pipe Clubs) is responsible for making an official registration of
international records. Only the records accepted and registered with CIPC can be called a WORLD
Record, an EUROPEAN Record, an ASIAN Record or an AMERICAN Record.
Article 2
Records to be registered with CIPC are the new records achieved by individual smokers at a World
Championship, an European Championship, an Asian Championship, an American Championship
and National Championships or Regional Competitions held at each member country of CIPC.
Article 3
Registration of the record will be accepted only when the competition, in which it is achieved,
complies with all the conditions and requisitions set hereunder.
Article 4
The CIPC Regulations for National And International Pipe Smoking Championship are to be applied
and the competition must be held under the supervision of CIPC.
Article 5
The supervision of CIPC here means that:
International Championships (World, European, Asian and American) - At least one of the CIPC
Board Members (President, Vice Presidents and Secretary General) must be present as the President
of Jury.
National Championships - Either one of the CIPC Board Members or the President of the National
Federation must be present as the President of the Jury.
Regional Competitions - Either the President of National Federation or his/her deputy must be
present as the President of the Jury.
Deputy - A CIPC Board Member or the National President who is responsible for supervising the
championship or the competition can give a written authorization to a deputy who, on behalf of
him/her, will take the responsibility as the President of the Jury. Such a written authorization must be
given to the organizer before the competition starts.
Article 6
a) International Championships (World, European, Asian and American) must be held by CIPC and
at least two (2) member countries of CIPC must participate in the championship.
b) National Championships must be held by the National Federation belonging to CIPC and at least
two (2) member clubs of the national federation must participate in the championship. Regional
Competitions are held for a province or a district of each member country of CIPC and at least two
(2) member clubs of the national federation must participate in it.
Article 7
An official report of the examination of tobacco weight in accordance with the CIPC Regulations for
National and International Pipe Smoking Championship must be made.
Article 8
A request to register a new record is to be made in writing by the President of the National Federation to the President of CIPC within two (2) weeks after the championship in which the new record
was achieved. This request must be accompanied with the following documents:
1) An official report of the tobacco weight as per the Form A.
2) An official report of the time to be registered as per the Form B.
3) A written authorization for deputy when applicable.
All these documents must bear the signature as requested in the forms.
Article 9
The Board of CIPC (President, Vice Presidents, and Secretary General) will decide if the record is
accepted or not.
Article 10
Within thirty (30) days after the receipt of the request, the President of CIPC will inform the CIPC
decision in writing to the applicant.
Article 11
a) The Secretary General of CIPC is responsible to keep all up-dated recordings of registration for
WORLD Record, EUROPEAN Record, ASIAN Record and AMERICAN Record.
b) After acceptance and registration of each new record, the Secretary General of CIPC will issue a
report to all member countries within three (3) months informing the new record and the most up-dated WORLD Record, EUROPEAN Record, ASIAN Record and AMERICAN Record.

But de la compétition
Le but de la compétition est d’avoir des participants ou des équipes, qui fument la pipe le plus longtemps possible, sans la rallumer, et de déterminer qui a fumé le plus longtemps. Chaque participant
ou équipe, devra utiliser la meme quantité de tabacs, la meme pipe et le meme bourre-pipe.
Participation
Art. 1
Seules les personnes plus âgées que 18 ans et membres des clubs de fumeurs affiliés au Pipe-Club
national, lui-meme membre du CIPC, peuvent prendre part a cette compétition.
Art. 2
L’association organisatrice a le droit de limiter le nombre de participants. Toutefois la limite doit etre
définie au moment ou l’association organisatrice est désignée.
Tabac
Art. 3
Les participants utiliseront uniquement le tabac sélectionné par les organisateurs de la compétition.
Art. 4
La quantité de tabacs utilisée sera de trois (3) grammes.
Art. 5
Les organisateurs feront connaître la marque du tabac sélectionné en meme temps que le programme
complet de la manifestation et au plus tard deux (2) mois avant.
Pipe
Art. 6
Les organisateurs fourniront les pipes a tous les participants au début de la compétition.
Art. 7
Les pipes seront faites en bruyere, de forme droite et classique, avec ou sans filtre amovible et seront
capables de contenir au moins trois (3) grammes de tabac. Elles seront fournies par la pipe-club
organisateur.
Art. 8
Les organisateurs annonceront les dimensions exactes de la pipe qui sera utilisée lors du concours au
moins deux (2) mois avant, selon les directives de l’Art 7 ci-dessus. Les organisateurs enverront aussi
un exemplaire de la pipe au club qui en fera la demande contre le reglement du prix.
Art. 9
Si la pipe est pourvue d’un filtre, le participant pourra le retirer.
Jury
Art. 10
Le jury a les pleins pouvoirs de décisions et sera composé de cinq (5) personnes.
a) Le président du CIPC ou son représentant désigné,
b) Un président de séance du pipe club organisateur, qui aura la charge de désigner les contrôleurs,
d’annoncer les décisions et les résultats et, si nécessaire, les différentes plages horaires de la rencontre,
c) Au moins trois (3) membres du jury étant des présidents nationaux ou leurs représentants
désignés, nommés lors de l’assemblée du CIPC du jour précédant la compétition.
Art. 11
Chaque groupe de dix (10) participants devra etre suivi par au moins un (1) contrôleur. Les
contrôleurs seront désignés par le président de séance. Ils doivent veiller au bon déroulement de la
compétition et devront constamment contrôler les participants, pour enregistrer le temps effectué
par chaque participant. Les contrôleurs distribueront les pipes et autres articles stipulés dans l’Art 16
ci-inclus. Ils devront demander des instructions au jury si besoin est. Le jury est autorisé a remplacer
un contrôleur durant le concours s’il le juge inefficace.
Participants
Art. 12
Chaque participant recevra une carte numérotée et peut recevoir une plaque portant le nom qui devra etre placée visiblement. Chaque participant devra etre assis a la table, place respective numérotée.
Art. 13
Les participants ne sont autorisés a utiliser qu’un bourre-pipe de quinze (15) mm de diametre et de
dix (10) cm de long qui sera fourni par les organisateurs.
Art. 14
Des que le président de séance donne le signal, le contrôleur fournira une (1) pipe a chaque
participant. Apres examen, la pipe sera placée devant chaque participant. Toute pipe défectueuse
sera remplacée.
Art. 15
Au signal du président de séance, le contrôleur fournira un (1) bourre-pipe comme décrit par l’art 13
et un paquet de tabacs devant chaque participant. Les participants ne sont pas autorisés a toucher au
tabac jusqu’au signal de départ.
Art. 16
Le contrôleur veillera a ce que seuls les objets suivants se trouvent devant chaque participant.
a) la pipe
b) le paquet de tabac
c) le bourre-pipe en bois
d) deux (2) allumettes dans une boîte
e) une feuille de papier A4
f) une carte d’enregistrement du temps
Chaque participant devra se rappeler que:
1) le bourre-pipe ne peut etre utilisé que lorsque la pipe est a la bouche,
2) il est strictement interdit de taper ou de secouer la pipe de n’importe quelle façon et par aucun
moyen,
3) le participant peut retirer le tuyau de pipe quelques secondes au cours de la compétition, afin d’en
extraire le jus, en le tapant sur la feuille de papier ou en soufflant a travers,
4) la feuille de papier peut-etre utilisée par chaque participant pour essuyer le bourre-pipe pendant
le concours,
5) les participants peuvent retirer la cendre de leur pipe, mais ne peuvent pas remettre le tabac s’il est
tombé durant cette opération,
6) les participants peuvent avoir une boisson apres les dix (10) premieres minutes de la compétition.
Sur chaque table, il y aura de l’eau et des verres a leur disposition,
7) il n’est pas autorisé de garder sa pipe allumée en soufflant dans le foyer de la pipe, par la bouche ou
le nez. Ce sont des motifs de disqualification.
Art. 17
Lorsque le président de séance donne le signal de départ, les participants ouvriront les paquets de
tabacs et auront cinq (5) minutes pour bourrer leur pipe.
Art. 18
Le tabac ne pourra etre émietté que pendant cette période de préparation.
Art. 19
Les participants ne sont pas autorisés a humidifier le tabac d’aucune façon.
Art. 20
Les participants ne sont pas autorisés a ajouter d’autres produit tels que craie, filtre ou matieres
similaires, dans la pipe.
Art. 21
Apres les cinq (5) minutes allouées aux participants, les contrôleurs ramasseront le tabac restant.
Art. 22
Lorsque le président de séance donne le signal, les participants doivent allumer leur pipe et les temps
seront enregistrés a partir de ce moment.
Art. 23
Les participants ont une (1) minute pour allumer la pipe en utilisant une (1) ou deux (2) allumettes.
Chaque allumette qui se casse ou ne s’allume pas, sera remplacée par le contrôleur.
Art. 24
Le participant dont la pipe s’éteint doit sans tarder remettre sa carte d’enregistrement du temps au
contrôleur.
Art. 25
Le contrôleur qui suspecte qu’une pipe est éteinte sera autorisé a demander au participant d’exhaler
de la fumée. Si la pipe est totalement éteinte et que le participant ne l’a pas dument signalé comme
décrit a l’Art 24, le contrôleur demandera au jury de le disqualifier pour manque de franc jeu.
Art. 26
Le participant ainsi disqualifié, doit remettre sa carte d’enregistrement du temps au contrôleur.
Art. 27
Si une pipe a brulé, le jury disqualifiera le participant.
Publicité
Art. 28
Aucunes publicités ou marques ne sont permises sur les vetements des membres du jury.
Frais de participation
Art. 29
Les organisateurs établiront le prix de la compétition. Chaque participant aura payé ce prix non
remboursable, jusqu’au délai d’enregistrement fixé par les organisateurs.
Art. 30
Une entrée de derniere minute pourra etre acceptée ou rejetée sur décision des organisateurs.
Art. 31
Chaque participant devra aussi payer d’autres frais encourus. Ceux-ci sont également non
remboursables.
Résultats Définitifs
Art. 32
Le jury publiera la liste finale des vainqueurs. La décision du jury est finale et sans contestation.
Vainqueur individuel
Art. 33
Le vainqueur sera le participant qui a fumé le plus longtemps, ayant prouvé que sa pipe n’a pas brulé
et n’ayant pas enfreint le reglement en aucune façon. Le jury inspectera les pipes fumées par les dix
(10) premiers fumeurs afin de déterminer que les pipes n’ont pas été brulées.
Art. 34
Le vainqueur sera nommé champion/ne du monde, d’asie ou d’Amérique selon le cas.
Art. 35
Les organisateurs peuvent décerner des prix spéciaux aux dames et adresser un classement spécial
dames.
Vainqueur des nations
Art. 36
Chaque équipe pourra comprendre au maximum cinq (5) fumeurs dont les noms devront etre
déposés par le président du Pipe-Club national. Les trois (3) meilleurs temps de chaque équipe
nationale seront prix en compte.
Art. 37
Chaque équipe devra etre composée de membres affiliés au Pipe Club national qui les a présentés. La
composition des équipes peut etre mixte.
Art. 38
Le pays de l’équipe gagnante sera autorisé a utiliser le titre selon art. 34.
Coupe du monde
Art. 39
Chaque équipe pourra comprendre au maximum cinq (5) fumeurs dont les noms devront etre
déposés par un club local affilié au Pipe-Club national et membre du CIPC. Les trois(3) meilleurs
temps de chaque équipe local seront pris en compte.
Reclamations
Art. 40
Les participants ont le droit de contester la décision d’un contrôleur, en portant plainte aupres des
membres du jury au plus tard jusqu’a quinze minutes apres la compétition.
Art. 41
Aucune réclamation ne sera acceptée apres le temps mentionné ci-dessus.
Art. 42
Les organisateurs déclinent toute responsabilité pour les dommages causés aux biens et aux personnes, qu’ils soient participants ou non.
Art. 43
En s’inscrivant a la compétition, les participants sont automatiquement et implicitement d’accord
avec le reglement général du CIPC.
Accords entre les clubs nationaux
Art. 44
Les clubs adhérents au CIPC acceptent ces regles comme étant les seules applicables pour la remise
des titres sous art 34 et 38.
Art. 45
Lors d’un championnat national, les organisateurs peuvent déroger aux art 10, 11, 12, 16.6 et 36.
Le titre de champion national, éventuellement d’équipe championne, est décerné en accord avec
les art 33 a 39.
Art. 46
Le CIPC se réserve le droit de juger tout litige.

• Kupon, w trakcie spożywania, należy czytelnie wypełnić i wrzucić do urny.
• Losowanie szczęśliwego kuponu odbędzie się po zakończeniu zawodów w niedzielę.
Nagroda obejmuje:

Taking part conditions:
• Each of registered World Cup participants will get a lottery ticket while visiting Synjeco stand. Also
everybody will get a small drink :)
• The lottery ticket should be personalized (name, address, etc.) during drinking and thrown into lottery
box.
• The young lady called „Fortuna” will pick up the winning lottery ticket after competition on Sunday.
The prize includes:
• journey – two-way flight to Switzerland (from any country in Europe) • 2 nights stay in hotel room
with view over the lake „Lago Maggiore” • dinner each day • Brissago Islands sightseeing • tour to the
Mountains • visit to the pipe-maker workshop (on the wish) • winner can extend the stay for his own
expense (Organizers will prepare suitable flight-ticket).
