RULES
1.1
The regatta will be governed by the rules as defined in The Racing Rules of Sailing.
1.2
Class rules of participating classes will apply.
1.3
The sailing instructions may also change racing rules.
1.4
If there is a conflict between languages the English text will take precedence.

ADVERTISING
Boats may be required to display advertising chosen and supplied by the organizing authority.

Area E boats will also participate in Neptune’s Amber Cup race, which will also count into general
classification.
Eligible boats may enter by completing the on-line form available at www.nordcup.pl, together with
entry fee until 20.06.2012. Entry fee is payable on bank account noted on the web page.

Late entries will be accepted under the following conditions: completing entry form available in race
office and paying late entry fee.

SAILING INSTRUCTIONS
The sailing instructions will be available after 18.00 on 29.06.2012 at race office.

SCORING
6.1
1 race is required to be completed to constitute a series.
6.2
(a)
When fewer than 4 races have been completed, a boat’s series score will be the total of her race
scores.
(b)
When from 4 to 8 races have been completed, a boat’s series score will be the total of her race
scores excluding her worst score.
(c)
When 9 or more races have been completed, a boat’s series score will be the total of her race
scores excluding her two worst scores.

BERTHING
Boats shall be kept in their assigned places in the harbour.

HAUL-OUT RESTRICTIONS
Keelboats shall not be hauled out during the regatta except with and according to the terms of prior
written permission of the race committee.

DIVING EQUIPMENT AND PLASTIC POOLS
Underwater breathing apparatus and plastic pools or their equivalent shall not be used around
keelboats between the preparatory signal of the first race and the end of the regatta.

RADIO COMMUNICATION
Except in an emergency, a boat shall neither make radio transmissions while racing nor receive radio
communications not available to all boats. This restriction also applies to mobile telephones.

PRIZES

Polish Nationals: Three first places will be awarded with medals.
Other classes: Three first places will be awarded with cups as well as a cup for a first place in Neptune’s
Amber Cup will be awarded.
A prize lottery will be held after prize giving ceremony for all participants.

DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY
Competitors participate in the regatta entirely at their own risk. See rule 4, Decision to Race. The
organizing authority will not accept any liability for material damage or personal injury or death
sustained in conjunction with or prior to, during, or after the regatta.

INSURANCE
Each participating boat shall be insured with valid third-party liability insurance.
